    Great recipe Mina - keep it up. Great to see somebody whose idea of anabolic includes lots of veggies, most channels I've found show recipes with little to no veg. I'm all about making full and nutritious meals that keep the calories low, protein high and pack in a ton of nutrients from veggies. Trying out a new chili recipe tomorrow - read a lot of different ideas for spice blends and I've come up with a new one to try. Oh, and my chili contains spinach, shredded up Brussels sprouts and carrots in place of beans (don't like the texture) and is served up of homemade zucchini noodles that are given a nice cook in the skillet to remove some of their moisture.

    • @shaungregory1827
      @shaungregory1827 3 роки тому

      @@MinaAyoubChef I guess it's a chili only in name because of the spice blend being used since I'm not doing anything else the "traditional" way.
      This one is diced sauteed chicken. The sauce is made of a proprietary blend of spices cooked up with red onion, jalapeno's, green peppers, garlic, tomatilloes and fresh diced totatoes.
      Then I've added in carrots, green onions, spinach and julienned zucchini.
      No beans, no noodles or rice.
      Not the most appealing on the eye - but hey, I'm just making this for me, not serving it at a dinner party. Taste test is right now - pretty good and has some kick to it.

      Lol I wanna hear your guess. Cast iron will def work if you wanna use it as a pan I think I mentioned it, or if you’re brave enough you can flip the cast iron upside down and use the bottom like a pizza stone, I’ve tried it before it works well but the pan has to be clean on the outside.
      Temp wise there’s no heat tolerance on a true cast iron pan it’s essentially just a piece of iron haha you can leave it in the oven forever

    would love to see anabolic beef carpaccio or beef tartare since tartare has egg yolks and a fatty dressing. a great low cal tartare recipe would be awesome.

    Shirataki (konjac) noodles would be a good replacement for the glass noodles and they bring less than 10kcals/100g. You just need to rinse them properly to get rid of the smell they have out of the bag, and ideally dry them a bit in a pan before adding to the rest so they can absorb the flavors better :)

    • @MinaAyoubChef
      @MinaAyoubChef  3 роки тому

      Ahh I tried to like them and tried rinsing and drying them off but I can’t get over their texture but I didn’t try the noodles it was a ziti shape

      I highly recommend using Ethan Cheblowski's recipe as a baseline to tweak. Swapping in a higher protein cheese and your Italian sausage would produce even more favorable macros but would sacrifice a small amount of flavor. ua-cam.com/video/w3f8-bHPYWk/v-deo.html

    ayo mina, in your meat loaf video it appeared you had your own "1 calorie spray"
    could you possibly further elaborate on how to accurately recreate that?
    If you already did in that video i'll just refer to the video, but i would def be interested in a video dedicated to that idea breaking it down if you feel that is a topic worth the time and effort.
    Thx

      ayooo, I loaded it with a pre known amount of oil, sat there and sprayed it hundreds of times to see how many sprays, Then divided to find the calories, idk if they're all gonna spray the same amount. I'm working on another solution
