Good video👍! Yes, in order to get rid of the smell of mold in this type of washer, don't close the door immediately after you are done with using it. Leave it open for a couple of days, depending on the level of humidity in your house, to let any residual water in it evaporate.

Thank you! Video was helpful, I would like to also add: run a clean cycle (with cleaner) immediately after. Keep the cover open; and eye out for any leaks. I did that, and noticed I didn't close the filter knob tight enough. If I closed the cover, I would have not cought it early enough

Hi good pointers I have a Samsung washer and did everything clean filter the tube the drum and inside and even run a self clean w bleach It smell good at first then smell came back but not as bad any other suggestions?

I did this and now water is squirting out of the filter screw in knob. What could be the problem?

I cleaned my filter put it back in the machine and now it makes a rattling noise when the water is entering and exiting the machine. Any Ideas on what is the cause?

I’ve done this, but the smell still persists. The smell is coming from the ‘hole’ that the filter screws into. Any ideas?

Try sanitizing the machine (see the settings) and use Clorox washing machine cleaner. It is less expensive and works better than any of the other cleaners.

I have same problem and I have the washer and dryer literally in a small laundry room in the backyard so I can't leave the door open because the room door can't close and I don't want anyone stealing them lol I live in a not so good neighborhood in Miami.

You also need to lay the machine on its back and remove the rubber boot and clean it out. That’s where you’ll find the real disgusting stuff!

That little black tube... it's there to drain it so you don't spill water everywhere. This is in the manual, but nobody reads those anymore which is why these videos exist.
