Ford Transit 2011, 2.2L Engine, No Start and no power fault, Timing Chain Snapped.

In this video we overview a fault with a ford transit 2.2 diesel. came into us with a no start condition - this was quickly put down to no compression caused by a snapped timing chain. we fitted a new chain assembly to the vehicle and compression tested it confirming no valves were impacted on failure. and reassembled.
Diesel injector compensation not great, We fitted new injectors and did a relearn to the fuel system What a difference.

After watching your video we took a chance, replaced the chain kit and amazingly engine undamaged. Saved me about £2,5 k cheers

Got a customer come in with one sanpped by the look of it , wont run on easy start , no diesel from pump ect ect ....after watching this video i may try a chain kit as youve had success and people in the comments also seem to have had success , great video ,fingers crossed.

Hi mate got 2.4 mk7 transit. Been noticing starting issues, first start seems to be issue but once started runs and starts all day. Today wouldn't start so I let hand brake off rolled 2ft pressed brake sharply and tried and started 1st time. 1 code on scanner low rail pressure. I've only changed the one sensor at the back of the rail. Which one would you recommend to change for low pressure

My timing chain has slipped on my 2010 2.2 transit and i took the head off expecting loads of damage as number 3 cylinder was only 190 lbs pressure. Theres no damage at all and i think the valves just need reseating or the head gasket is fecked . Can't find any information regarding the settings on the timing chain, just how to replace it which is no use to me as mine is all out . Do i have to set no 1 at tdc as there is four turns to get each piston up and it can be locked off at any of these 4 places. I'm not a machanic just someone who is avoiding being with my Mrs 24 hours a day . Anyone?
