Wow, that’s something special right there, im glad you both enjoyed it! Apricot, smoked almond and peanut brittle has got my mouth watering, very complex and such a great looking bottle too. Enjoy this one guys, you both deserve it. I’m totally with Jean on the price though, that’s a brave buy but so glad it’s full of flavour and improved after its uncorking!

@@MultiCasking I would have thought the exact same! It was a friend of mines dream bottling for that extreme peat reason but I guess it just shows that ppm isn’t everything!

ahhhhhhhhh......... You guys know that i'm cuffed to the Islay Malts! Imagine it wouldn't be five years old but fourteen years. Definatly a 94 on my score board! the price is ridicolous for sure, but the price for a Harley here in europe is ridicolous aswell. i don't regred it!

A very nice review. Spending that much on a bottle of whisk(e)y depends on 1) do you spend that much on each release of this expression, 2) do you spend this much frequently, or 3) do you spend this much on a special bottle. I recently purchased Glenmorangie Signet as a special occasion bottle. I have yet to open it. This is the most I have spent on any bottle at $220. Will I do this every month, no. But for a special bottle, every once in a while why not if you don't break the bank. ThankbCharkie and Jean. Oh by the way, your mics sound tinny.
Yeah, I screwed up and had the mic jack pulled into the wrong port. So, the audio is just from the camera. Such a rookie mistake. This is the most I've ever spent on a bottle. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't. Not for this bottle at least. Maybe, once it opens, it'll amaze me. Time will tell. Cheers to ya!
At least you did have audio. Just think if you had no audio at all. My lip reading skills at bad at best. And with yours and Jean's twang, I would have had no chance.
