Can you beat Payday 2 as the Engineer? Rules: -Only weapons that resemble Engineer's shotguns, his pistol and his wrenches are allowed; -Only deployables allowed are sentry guns and ECMs (because those two seem like something Engineer would have) -No throwables because there are no grenades in TF2
Vanilla mod pack actually fixes the unsupressed revolver problem. It adds a pistol suppressor (IIRC it’s called the Low Profile Compensator) which actually is able to be equipped on the Bronco. Obviously I’m late on this, but still. It’s a mod pack I’d genuinely recommend. It’s balanced super well, and while a few things seem a bit extreme at first, they have heavy downsides to even it out. Plus it comes with some new weapons. (No revolvers though, unfortunately.) Edit: the convert swapping is indeed a Vhud plus thing. It’s so nice to have, honestly.
@@gamingdamien1204 What was a glitch, the suppressor thing? I haven't used the bronco in a while now, so I don't really know. I'll have to check later. Either way, I don't know why they'd remove it. It seemed alright to me.
Also a suggestion. If you have the "phone a friend" lifeline left over at the end of the challenge. Why not ring up someone to do one final heist for funs? Get a little extra footage in and get some more community involvement.
6:23 It's not that they cant be suppressed just that it is a real pain to do so because of the gap between the front of the cylinder and the rear of the barrel. You would kind of have to design the entire weapon around covering or bridging this gap.
@@ManicObsevations More that they don't work to the fullest as the gap allows much of the initial of the bang of the primer and powder load detonating to be heard even with a suppressor attached. The Nagant revolvers get around this by having the rear of the barrel flared open and the mouth of the cylinder holes made so that they can fit into it making a decent seal. At the moment of firing a mechanism moves the cylinder forward to accomplish this and moves it back after firing. Though working with a suppressor wasn't the reason that this mechanism was added. Surprisingly, it was originally added to get more power out of a cartridge by preventing the loss of force as a result of the aforementioned gap.
One thing to note on the No Mercy stealth: There will ALWAYS be one doctor in the back room that runs directly for the alarm button (even if not alerted) ~10 seconds after you mask up, regardless of player count or difficulty (as long as the difficulty is high enough for the back rooms to have civs in them). And then around ~30 seconds after you mask up another one runs directly to the alarm button. It wouldn't be all that hard to counter once you figured it out, but the very annoying thing is once the crouching animation plays for the civ its impossible to alert him in order to be able to get him to stop. It's honestly a little BS in my opinion, and it makes the heist really hard to stealth when playing solo.
Honestly the only reliable way I could "Stealth" it solo was to rev up a saw in one of the rooms further away from the quarantine area so that it'll be far enough for the guards in it to not be alerted by the noise while affecting most if not all of the civvies that could pop the alarm.
@@Ulqui_210 That strategy works, but you lose out on your primary (or secondary if you can spare some skill points) for a weapon that sucks without ammo bags and some key skills
@@P8nda Exactly. Which considering Kknowley often does these challenges without bots to back him up, it is going to be hell to do. Especially if you make the mistake of tagging the wrong room which means more time spent on the heist.
@@Ulqui_210 Actually, you don't even need the saw. If you fire an unsuppressed in the corner of the room furthest from the ICU all the civs in the starting area will hear it, but not in the ICU. I used this strategy to beat no mercy on DSOD I think because it allowed me to just use a normal loud build needing only to add the skill to suppress civs with gunfire.
When I first played the game (about 9 months ago), I ended up finding myself doing it pretty quickly. Not even a big TF2 fan (I like it well enough, but don't play often), but some of them just came together so naturally. My preferred way to play can more or less be summed up with this. "I am heavy weapons guy."
Sometimes when you have this creativity, trying to roleplay other people's gear, not just TF2, can make it a more enjoyable experience and also challenging since you're limiting yourself to the limitations of the character. I do this on Project Zomboid as well.
I got 2 challenge run ideas for you Can you beat Payday 2 as Han Solo? -Using only the Broomstick pistol with the Damper L. 44 Nozzle and the Barrel Sight 44 -No primaries (except for the saw ofc) Can you beat Payday 2 with only one loadout? -No perk/weapon/equipment restrictions, but once you make your loadout it stays that way throughout the whole run
An idea that is not super difficult but rather limiting is the idea of only being able to use one skill tree set (Mastermind, Enforcer, Technician, Ghost, or Fugitive). You have complete control over all of your weapons, equipment, armor, and perk deck, but your skills are trapped to three trees. For example, if you pick Fugitive, you HAVE to run the Gunslinger, Revenant, and Brawler trees. Nothing else. As I said, shouldn't be too hard, but definitely limits your capabilities.
_The culmination of the Can You Beat series_ Rules: -You are allowed to choose which Can You Beat loadout you use for this challenge. -You have to complete the true ending of Payday 2 on the highest possible difficulty. -Teammates are allowed but they all have to be using separate Can You Beat loadouts. (So if you use the Can You Beat: Spy loadout, no one else can use that loadout.)
Sticking with the TF2 theme, Heavy could be fun. But maybe not exactly challenging. In any case, here are some ideas. -Primary limited to the minigun, (not the microgun, as that's shoulder mounted) -Secondary limited to the Locomotive and GSPS shotguns (as they resemble the stock shotgun and family business) -Deployable limited to First Aid Kits, reskinned to Sandviches -Melee limited to the fists, 350k brass knuckles, OVERKILL Boxing Gloves, and the cash. ("It costs $400,000 to fire this weapon...") -Perk deck limited to Muscle, as let's be honest, Heavy is an 800lb Gorilla. Difficulty in stealth will come from the lack of body bags, ECM's, etc, all blocked by the FAK requirement and poor concealment unless you allow the microgun. However, the shotguns can be suppressed and can corpse launch. Careful corpse placement and sixth sense preplanning assets could offset the lack of deployables. Difficulty in loud will come in the form of ammo management and the decision between snipers or shields. The minigun can't handle either of them, and the shotgun can't have slug rounds and flechette rounds at the same time. That's the end of my initial idea. However, I still think that challenge is pretty doable. So I was able to come up with one more idea... but it might absolutely skyrocket the difficulty, so take this with a grain of salt. Heavy is the slowest class in TF2, so he shouldn't benefit from any movement skills. That means Duck and Cover basic and Parkour basic are not allowed, thus locking out the entire Artful Dodger tree. Not only would this make dodging completely impossible, but it could also cause a potential difficulty spike just by the limitation on movement. As you've demonstrated with Spy, so many difficult situations can be avoided just by hauling ass at mach 4 away from the enemy. Stealth too would become that much more difficult, again because of that limited movement. "What about Transporter Aced", I hear you ask? That should probably still be allowed. First, it's removing the bag moving penalty, not increasing the player's base speed. Second, the Heavy would easily be able to lift heavy items with his monstrous strength.
For no mercy solo stealth, you can use a loud saw to keep every civ down as long as you only saw the air as you don't want to alert the guards behind the ICU doors.
A while back you had asked about mod challenge runs, and I don't know if you're still accepting them, but I found a mod that adds studs from Lego games that drop upon killing enemies. Collecting a certain amount of them nets you True Heister, so the question is; Can you get True Heister in every story mission?
I would have counted the pocket Ecm too as a more suitable sapper for loud runs instead of the throwing knifes. But hey still good video! Had fun watching
Heavy Weapons Guy TF2 Rules: - Use Vulcan Minigun XL 5.56 Microgun -Can use Shotguns (that fit heavys weapons) -Use fists or OVERKILL Boxing Gloves or 350K Brass Knuckles (Eviction Notice) -Throwables tbh I don't know what Heavy well use? Maybe Molotov Cocktail or Matryoshka Grenade Since Heavy is Russian. -Can use Ammo and First Aids (Sandvich/Food Item's) There can be more done with this.
Surprisingly a TF2 Spy run isn't too bad, good thematic perk deck and skills. Plus so many options! For detection issues you could run the bronco with pocket surprise barrel as the Derringer and a few melee with the Arkansas Toothpick or similar ornamental knives as Your Eternal Reward or the switchblade, kunai and of course good old stock knife. Loved the video and mini mod showcase throughout as well
Rules, since I forgot to mention: - Only two difficulties are possible to play on - Death Wish (0 - 79 level) and Death Sentence (80 and onward), - All jobs have to be completed with the Pro-Job modifier, - At all times, Team AI is allowed (Enemies killed by the bots no longer drop ammo), - This mod overhauls Everything - Rebalances enemies, add more of them and rebablances Player's weapons, has an overhauled skill tree and Perk Decks, so be Prepared. New Lifeline: - Bravo Team response delay - If you're struggling on the last parts of the heists mainly due to the Bravo team (Appearing on Pro Jobs durning the Point of no Return), this lifeline can be used ONCE to complete a heist with Pro Job turned off.
Here's a good one: try beating Career Mode as Solid Snake or Sam Fisher. It'd be interesting, because Snake is more oriented to both stealth, and running in, guns blazing, while Sam is just stealth.
I mean since you did Demo and Spy, it's time to do their counter, the Pyro: - Only Flamethrowers and Shotguns - Incendiary nades allowed - Fireaxe melee - Sociopath perkdeck - as many rainbow colours as the game allows through mods
I haven't even watched the first 5 seconds and I have already liked the video, just goes to show how good your challenge runs are and how excited I am to see a new one. Keep up the good work!
Since we're coming up on the 10-year anniversary of Payday 2 (and the release window of Payday 3), here's a thematically appropriate challenge run suggestion: The "Payday Generations" Challenge, named after the Sonic game, for reasons that will be gone into below - and could be a sequel of sorts to the Time Traveller challenge. In this, the Dentist and the Kataru mess about with Baldwin's Lament just a little too much and create a time crash, causing the gangs of Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 to meet up with each other. Now, both sets of gangs have got to go through the highlights of the Payday heisting career - past and present - together, in order to correct the timeline (or something). Rules: -10 heists have to be cleared; 3 from Payday: The Heist, 3 from the beginning half of Payday 2, 3 from the latter half of Payday 2, and ending with the White House, in chronological order. -Each heist in the challenged needs to be cleared as the "Classic" gang and the "Modern" gang, meaning 20 heist clears total will be needed for this challenge. -"Classic" runs can only be done as heisters from Payday: The Heist (Dallas, Chains, Hox, Wolf), with weapons only from Payday: The Heist and using the Classic Heisting Reborn mod to replicate the original's difficulty, AI and enemies (somewhat). "Modern" runs have no heister or weapon restrictions and can be done under standard Payday 2 gameplay. -"Classic" runs have to be done on Overkill difficulty (under CHR), "Modern" runs have to be done on Death Wish. -All skills and AI crewmates are allowed for both runs. -In order to not break stealth runs in half due to the way that CHR works, any "Classic" run that can be done loud must be done loud with the exception of the White House (if you wish to). "Modern" runs can be done under any available strategy. -For the White House, one run has to be done with the Normal Ending, and the other the True Ending. You can decide which gang goes for which ending. -For heists to choose for the challenge, it'd be a good idea to pick the ones that are the most recognisable in the community/have the biggest story presence throughout the series in the aforementioned categories, such as First World Bank, Hotline Miami, Hoxton Breakout and Hell's Island (to name a few candidates). You can always ask the community for suggestions if it comes down to it. -Unique Lifeline: Time Warp, which allows the Classic Gang to operate under the Modern Gang's rules for one "Classic" heist.
Other class ideas: Engineer-Shotgun, pistols, wrench melee and sentry deployables. Pyro-Flamethrower, shotgun, fireaxe melee Scout-shotgun, pistol, bat, has to use Yakuza or rogue (speed or dodge) Sniper-sniper, SMG, machete Soldier-shotgun, RPG, klas shovel Heavy-minigun, shotgun, fists Medic-crossbows and saws (idk about this one)
An interesting spin you could try is doing a multiplayer run, where you and your friends are restricted to any class you choose for the rest of the run with no duplicates
If I'm remembering correctly, this is the video that made me look into payday 2 as a game id actually like to play and not just one of those games that I keep getting videos about recommended to me for some reason, cheers for that.
I feel like out of the other tf2 classes heavy and maybe scout would be intresting: Heavy: -only minigun and maybe shotgun secondary -only ICTV as soon as possible (or mods could be used to get it) -no movement speed increase, that basically means no skills in artful dodger tree (second wind allowed so you can have acces to silent killer skills) -health based perk deck Scout: -only shotguns and maybe pistol secondary -movement focused (interpret it however you feel will make for the best content) -dodge based or yakuza perk deck -no armor, only suit -maybe forced frenzy to make you more fragile so it will be more challenging, but this might be a bit too much -maybe a rule so that you need to finish heist in certain amount of time, although I'm not sure how you could decide how long is too long I feel like other classes won't be that interesting or difficult: Pyro might be, but it might be too easy, annoying or not that entertaining; Soldier would be a demoman rip off; Engineer also might be interesting, but I don't really know how it could be made difficult and interesting; Sniper would be too easy I think; I don't know how you could make Medic so that it would make sense. That's a long comment, but anyway good luck on future challenges, they make for great content and I can't wait to see more.
I’d love to see a challenge run based around the heisters themselves. Example- Can You Beat Payday 2 as Dallas? - Play only Dallas - Only skills in Mastermind and Crew Chief Perk Deck. - Only weapons Dallas has used in Live Action/Gameplay Trailers are used. Like the JP36. Crosskill, etc.
A poison only run would be fun. Rules: Only do damage though sources that can cause the poison effect: So for guns: The Tombstone Slugs and the launchable Viper Grenades For throwables: The throwable Viper Grenades And for melee: the Kunai, and the syringe.
i definitely want to see a can you beat payday 2 as the tf2 pyro, using the judge with explosive ammo to replicate the flare gun, and the flamethrower, the fireman axe as the melee and wearing the gasmask would be hilarious. keep up the amazing work and i cant wait for your next heist.
Something I think could've been done to aid the no silent firearm issue would be the Judge. Yeah, it's technically a shotgun but it is a revolver after all, and you could equip it with slugs to make it more revolver-like
Video predictions: Panic room flashbacks Still sucks at stealth even with spy tf2 Sociopath infiltrator or hitman 2 lifelines used Open vault Jimmy Forgets pig loot in slaughterhouse 😔
Tip: On loud heists, you can type cl_interp 5000 into console, allowing you to teleport around and "trickstab" all the cops no problem! Be careful though, you can either lose connection or get vote kicked by the salty cops. Use with caution!
Watching this video made me have a new appreciation for the Go Bank. Instead having the players just idly wait for 5 minutes for the drill/vault, the game throws stuff to deal with to the players. Making the gameplay more engaging during that period. And it needs to throw enough stuff at the players to challenge a multiplayer crew. If the challenges are easily dealt by a single player, the other three are just going to sit there with thumbs up their asses. And contrary to what you're implying, it's not possible to have challenges come up in a way that can be dealt by one player, but at the same time be challenging to a full crew of 4. So in my opinion, designing missions in a co-op game with the difficulty balanced around the single-player experience is the real miserable design trap to fall into. And balancing co-op missions in co-op game with the assumption it will be played co-operatively, the only sane design choice.
*"Doing something no English man ever should. Becoming French"* Props to you for doing that. French people gonna give up before they tried to become English man xD
I remember doing firestarter stealth in vanilla with a friend. Its torturous, i kid you not, we spent 2 to 3 hours straight, failing attempt after attempt, the last run, the successful one, was 50 minutes long by itself. Genuinely thankful you decided to not go through that hell alone.
I think a good idea of fixing the Bag throwing SIM aspect of the game would be an (I think at least) pretty easy overhaul of the system. Make the bags percentage based. You can pack let's say 5 big jewellery pieces like the watches and stuff because one would be 20%. Let's say 3 or 2 assault rifles etc etc. I think it would be ok and cut the time of walking around. Obviously it's not perfect but I would find it better to throw 2 full bags of jewelry instead of 10 because I doubt watches take that much space in that huge bag
As for Undercover try 3, that was a sniper from behind, you can BARELY see its silhouette as it kneels back into cover behind the chimney that obscures the bottom of the water tower on the roof behind you as the screen is red, and you pan to the left, looking for what hit you. It took me a few frame-by-frame hops back and forth to even catch the movement, it's that little time you have to see it.
59:20 Okay, so here is a thing I noticed with No Mercy Over by the panic button that keeps causing problems, there is a room full of people. Once you begin taking out cameras, the people in that room will, at regular intervals, come out of that room single file towards the panic button. Because of this, you will either need to deal with the room during the control bit, or take out the civilians as they come out.
Considering we are continuing with the TF2 theme, Can you beat Payday 2 as the Scout? -considering Scout is about maneuverability, the build has to be based on dodge and movement speed. So something like a Rogue build makes sense for this run. Yakuza would be fine too if you plan to utilize the movement speed boost for Stealth. -Weapons allowed would be shotguns for primaries, even better if its a lever action shotgun, as Scout's scattergun is pretty much a modified lever action. Semi automatic pistols for secondaries, and a baseball bat for melee. No usage of deployables would be preferable. Throwables would preferably be banned as well, considering baseballs and christmas ball decorations are not a thing in Payday 2.
The fact that you can't use a revolver without alerting everyone in the building is fitting considering the spy's revolver is usually a last ditch attempt to survive.
I mean if you want something more on the fun side, i think heavy would be great. Minigun, shotgun, and lots of Sandviches! (Medkits) Though snipers might be a nightmare depending on the shotgun haha. Anyway great video as always keep it up man!
brand new idea for maybe not a challenge run but just an interesting way to play. play as Agent 47 in payday ie: suit only, stealth when possible, weapons that agent 47 would use, lets say for simplicity, snipers and pistols. and only killing targets (hector, Ernesto etc) everyone else must be intimidated and taken hostage while in stealth. mods allowed if anything can be found to make it more interesting and more hitman-ish. idk if this is even possible for a full run but to me its sounds like fun
i love this guy he acts out the spy so vvell vvith the classic "narrating-voice" vve all knovv and love also, that quote "doing something no English man ever should, becoming French."
how about a payday 2 nuzlocke? the rules are: - start at level 100, with infamy - you must play the character's respective perk deck (and maybe weapons too) - all heists are to be played on death sentence (with or without ai, your choice) - if you fail a heist, the character you were playing as "dies" and can no longer be played (as such, their weapons and perk deck is no longer accessable either) - if all characters "die", you lose (and have to start the entire career mode again) - (optional) leech and stoic (maybe hacker?) are banned, and duke (and joy if hacker is banned) becomes a "wildcard" character (can play any allowed deck, regardless of whether or not the character said deck's character is "alive")
Can you beat Payday 2 as a Bulldozer? Using only guns wielded by Bulldozers, not sprinting because they don’t, heaviest armor available (as you need to be a walking tank) at all times (lifeline to remove this?) throwables must match what a cop could use (flash bangs only maybe?) and a melee weapon featuring something a cop would be allowed to use (most in character would be a gun butt but you could use a sword if you wanted to be a titandozer). Love the videos, keep up the good work!
I know I’m late but hear me out….. THE MEDIC Use a crit build Only use the crossbow (I’m not sure if there’s an actual regular saw and I’m too lazy to check so) use the buzzsaw Oh I guess you can also use medkits if you eant
I have made a spy build in payday 2 before and it's a fun way to play. Instead of hacker I would use Sicario since he has 100% dodge within the smoke, almost as if he was temporarily invisible. And while I can't remember all the perks I used, I focused on the pistol skills as well as melee and crits. Using the skills that make melee hits incredibly powerful makes backstabbing the Heav- I mean Bulldozer a satisfying kill despite it being risky. I used the Castigo revolver since it looked the most like a gun Spy would own and used akimbo Judge Shotguns as my primary. While Spy doesn't ever use a shotgun in Tf2 a Judge Shotgun with slugs is pretty close to a revolver while also having the benefit of countering shields. And while it conflicts with Sicario and Hacker it's fun to think that there is an electrocuting grenade that could easily pass as a sapper with the added benefit of frying some cops while you're at it.
I really wanna see the version of this challange as heavy Rules: -Only miniguns/shotguns/fists/boxing gloves -Only FAK as sandwichs -Always heavies armor -Lifelines includes BFF allowing for extra allay simulating medic but also requaiering to play on BFF modifier
Good (but INCREDIBLY hard)challenge idea:can you beat payday if every enemy is a bulldozer? Basically, use the clone army mutator, with bulldozer selected. Extra hard challenge:the same, but you also have the overdozed mutator on,so every enemy is a bulldozer, and every bulldozer has a _shield._
Another neat challenge run idea: How far can you get in Payday 2 with ONLY base game gear? (definitely a challenge and not being too poor to afford all of the DLC in the game) In a game where the weapons, perk decks, and attachments are plentiful and powerful: what if we were to throw those away and stick to the most basic of tools? The rules are simple: If a weapon has no DLC / Community / Event tag, it can be used. Same rule applies to attachments, melee weapons, and throwables. If a perk deck does not require DLC / Community, it can be used. (Bonus for using base game masks, materials and patterns.) Stealth is optional. I'd like to see if base game gear can at the very least make it to the end on the highest difficulty and maybe compete with the modern day gear. Not everyone is getting a nice payday nowadays, so this is for the heisters who barely scrape by daily.
ok but a jacket run could be really interesting, but really hard if done... wrong? right? eeh. -guns must be guns you can find in the HM games (AR style rifles, pump shotguns, etc.) -only melees similar to ones found in HM (you arent limited to the HM dlc melees, but thats a good baseline) -one down always on, irrespective of difficulty -no armor (trying to lean into hotline's one-hit death system) -sociopath *only* -jacket only (duh.) -hotline miami masks only (its cosmetic but still, why not) EDIT: also, if you want some extra visual variety, the tailor expansion mod has a skin for the dragon bomber that resembles jackets colors from hotline 1
maybe try beating payday as the heavy -lmgs only (to represent heavy’s collection of miniguns) -fist or boxing gloves as the melee (stock fists, gru, or kgb) -a shotgun as your secondary (forgot if you can do that or not its been a while since i last played pd2) -either have the highest amount of health or armor as you can -perks going into maximizing health and armor along with ammo (crit maybe, since a heavy with crits is horrifying) -med bag and/or first aid kits (sandvich)
As a Pyro main. I'd love to see a Pyro run. Flamethrower Shotguns Anything that is a fire axe or other pyro weapons. Molitovs are allowed. Additionally. Keep a cloaker kill count since spy checking is something pyros do. Bonus challenges. Its FCKING RAWWW! Beat a heist on Overkill or above with the rare mod on the flamethrower Blue on Blue. Kill a medic with a fire axe. Bonfire of the cockroachs. Kill Soza, and The Commisar with the flamethrower or other fire based weapons. I hope you enjoy these suggestions
They should add the 1895 nagant revolver. It’s one of the few revolvers that actually could be suppressed, because of the complete connection between the cylinder and the barrel.
Rewatching this I found out what offed you on run 3 of Biker Heist. It's only 2 frames, but if you pause right on one of those 2, you can see a bullet impact appearing from the window where the outlined turret is. It shot you thought the window even though it was seemingly blocked by the wooden midsection of said window.
i have a theory on your inverse mission thingy, your may be relaxing on easy ones because it thinks it doesnt need to focus causing you to become sloppier, while if its meant to be harder your brain puts you into hightend focus mode to achieve your goal, making it seem easier.
The akimbo ones were run with “cowboy loads” where one of the rounds isn’t loaded into the cylinder so the primer isn’t struck while it’s sitting in ur pocket
Have you considered a run where you play as the medic from TF2? Maybe make it a collab with other payday UA-camrs doing tf2 themed challenges? You could use leech perk deck with a nail gun with needle or bonesaw. Maybe someone could use a demo knight and soldier themed build? You get the idea.
Scout? Dodge build, Shotgun or if you want to be more specific the Mosconi with a sawed off barrel but keep the stalk for the force a nature or judge for the shortstop. Bat melee and pistol for secondary
I would recommend a Scout challenge, but suit evasion shotgun builds are already pretty meta, so I don't exactly know what you could do to make it a challenge. As an alternative, can you beat Payday 2 as the Sniper? You have to use a bolt action rifle with the default scope, and all kills with it must be made while scoped in. You can carry an SMG as a secondary, but you can only use it if your rifle is completely out of ammo
Can you beat Payday 2 as the Engineer?
Rules:
-Only weapons that resemble Engineer's shotguns, his pistol and his wrenches are allowed;
-Only deployables allowed are sentry guns and ECMs (because those two seem like something Engineer would have)
-No throwables because there are no grenades in TF2
Team fortress classic has grenades
id say he could have FAKs as well to sort of replicate the dispenser. no med bags tho.
@@fraser._.5878 yeah but rhis is abt the tf2 engie, not tfc
And if that dont work... Use more gun.
@2-Way_Intersection and maybe ammo bags as well since dispensers give ammo
"Doing something no English man ever should. Becoming French" is an amazing line
One of the best lines he's written.
I read this right as he said it, it was great
To be honest, becoming French voluntarily is something no PERSON ever should.
As a TF2 player who plays as a heavy, becoming French is very hard
As a German, I actually prefer the French to the B R I T I S H.
At least they know how to cook.
love the spy just getting big whenever you finish a interaction

Vanilla mod pack actually fixes the unsupressed revolver problem.
It adds a pistol suppressor (IIRC it’s called the Low Profile Compensator) which actually is able to be equipped on the Bronco.
Obviously I’m late on this, but still. It’s a mod pack I’d genuinely recommend. It’s balanced super well, and while a few things seem a bit extreme at first, they have heavy downsides to even it out. Plus it comes with some new weapons. (No revolvers though, unfortunately.)
Edit: the convert swapping is indeed a Vhud plus thing. It’s so nice to have, honestly.
It was a glitch its patched now
@@gamingdamien1204 What was a glitch, the suppressor thing?
I haven't used the bronco in a while now, so I don't really know. I'll have to check later.
Either way, I don't know why they'd remove it. It seemed alright to me.
@@DekFocs Ik it's Payday 2, so it's a stupid argument, but you can't actually suppress revolvers (with very few exceptions)
@Justin Loveday if its a closed revolver sure like the mosin revolver but other wise you cant put a silencer on a revolver
@@deathbringer9893 well, you can... but it doesn't really do much.

6:23 It's not that they cant be suppressed just that it is a real pain to do so because of the gap between the front of the cylinder and the rear of the barrel. You would kind of have to design the entire weapon around covering or bridging this gap.
The Nagant revolver is one of not many revolvers, that can use a suppressor.
is it that they don't work to their fullest or that they don't function properly on revolvers
Is it time time make an obligatory reference to the Nagant revolver?

Imagine if Spy's conga response to the security radio backfired and everyone showed up to his location expecting a conga party.
“Where’s the cong-“
I like to think that's what happens after using too many pagers instead of just Control getting randomly suspicious.
One thing to note on the No Mercy stealth:
There will ALWAYS be one doctor in the back room that runs directly for the alarm button (even if not alerted) ~10 seconds after you mask up, regardless of player count or difficulty (as long as the difficulty is high enough for the back rooms to have civs in them).
Huge info, thanks so much! Still learning new things about this damn game every day...
Making Payday 2 builds around TF2 classes is actually a LOT of fun I’ve realized recently
@@Sin_AlderI don't care if this build might not work on ds, I WILL walk into Diamond Heist with ictv and a minigun
I got 2 challenge run ideas for you
Can you beat Payday 2 as Han Solo?
-Using only the Broomstick pistol with the Damper L. 44 Nozzle and the Barrel Sight 44
-No primaries (except for the saw ofc)
Can you beat Payday 2 with only one loadout?
-No perk/weapon/equipment restrictions, but once you make your loadout it stays that way throughout the whole run
The one loadout challenge would be really interesting, I've been thinking about something along those lines for a while.
One loadout is how I played Payday 2 for ages as a noob lol
And you can only shoot first
An idea that is not super difficult but rather limiting is the idea of only being able to use one skill tree set (Mastermind, Enforcer, Technician, Ghost, or Fugitive).
_The culmination of the Can You Beat series_
Rules:
-You are allowed to choose which Can You Beat loadout you use for this challenge.
-You have to complete the true ending of Payday 2 on the highest possible difficulty.
-Teammates are allowed but they all have to be using separate Can You Beat loadouts. (So if you use the Can You Beat: Spy loadout, no one else can use that loadout.)
Wait, bots or teammates? Because if it's teammates then this makes it a whole lot more interesting...
Sticking with the TF2 theme, Heavy could be fun. But maybe not exactly challenging. In any case, here are some ideas.
-Primary limited to the minigun, (not the microgun, as that's shoulder mounted)
-Secondary limited to the Locomotive and GSPS shotguns (as they resemble the stock shotgun and family business)
-Deployable limited to First Aid Kits, reskinned to Sandviches
-Melee limited to the fists, 350k brass knuckles, OVERKILL Boxing Gloves, and the cash. ("It costs $400,000 to fire this weapon...")
-Perk deck limited to Muscle, as let's be honest, Heavy is an 800lb Gorilla.
Required to run maximum armor at all times even on stealth missions (for the funny)
All heists must be run with ictv including mandatory stealth heists
For no mercy solo stealth, you can use a loud saw to keep every civ down as long as you only saw the air as you don't want to alert the guards behind the ICU doors.
*with Stockholm Syndrome.
You can also just fire most unsuppressed guns in the cafeteria for the same effect
*in the back room especifically. If you try to saw in the lobby or elevator it'll alert the whole map.
Suddenly, if Payday ever had one of the TF2 mercs as a playable character, it'd have to be the Spy.
The Gentlemen.
@@mercenarygundam1487 Wait that’s Duke.
I dunno, we got a minigun, boxing gloves, a shotgun, and healing kits, I think there's also a case for the heavy
Nah, it would probably be the heavy 'cause he'll be needing that money to fire sasha
@@thebarrel1051 $400,000 to fire that gun huh? Yeah money well spent.

I love the all hidden Spy references. I like how he hid weapon names in his voice over.
A while back you had asked about mod challenge runs, and I don't know if you're still accepting them, but I found a mod that adds studs from Lego games that drop upon killing enemies. Collecting a certain amount of them nets you True Heister, so the question is; Can you get True Heister in every story mission?
What's the mod name?
holy shit where?
The mod is called Lego Studs by Cpone, it's a pretty simple mod all things considered.
S-tier mod.
Feel free to add the Lego Destroy Killsound by Zeon for maximum immersion
The little references to Spy's weapons were Awesome. I only caught Your Eternal Reward and Big Kill, but I'm sure there were more
I am Ze Spy
Watch n learn!
*AEEEEEEEE*
No I am.
Mentlegen
You said ze, that’s German
We are all spy’s
I would have counted the pocket Ecm too as a more suitable sapper for loud runs instead of the throwing knifes. But hey still good video! Had fun watching
Heavy Weapons Guy TF2
Rules:
- Use Vulcan Minigun XL 5.56 Microgun
-Can use Shotguns (that fit heavys weapons)
-Use fists or OVERKILL Boxing Gloves or 350K Brass Knuckles (Eviction Notice)
-Throwables tbh I don't know what Heavy well use? Maybe Molotov Cocktail or Matryoshka Grenade Since Heavy is Russian.
-Can use Ammo and First Aids (Sandvich/Food Item's)
There can be more done with this.
The kill me edit is gold and as always an impressive run and build set up
These challenge runs are a really great way to show the power of different weapons as long you make the right build to help with it
Surprisingly a TF2 Spy run isn't too bad, good thematic perk deck and skills. Plus so many options! For detection issues you could run the bronco with pocket surprise barrel as the Derringer and a few melee with the Arkansas Toothpick or similar ornamental knives as Your Eternal Reward or the switchblade, kunai and of course good old stock knife. Loved the video and mini mod showcase throughout as well
Can also use the golden spoon (Golden frying pan)
I would love to see you do a Restoration Mod challenge for PayDay 2.
Rules, since I forgot to mention:
- Only two difficulties are possible to play on - Death Wish (0 - 79 level) and Death Sentence (80 and onward),
- All jobs have to be completed with the Pro-Job modifier,
- At all times, Team AI is allowed (Enemies killed by the bots no longer drop ammo),
- This mod overhauls Everything - Rebalances enemies, add more of them and rebablances Player's weapons, has an overhauled skill tree and Perk Decks, so be Prepared.
New Lifeline:
- Bravo Team response delay - If you're struggling on the last parts of the heists mainly due to the Bravo team (Appearing on Pro Jobs durning the Point of no Return), this lifeline can be used ONCE to complete a heist with Pro Job turned off.
Here's a good one: try beating Career Mode as Solid Snake or Sam Fisher. It'd be interesting, because Snake is more oriented to both stealth, and running in, guns blazing, while Sam is just stealth.
I mean since you did Demo and Spy, it's time to do their counter, the Pyro:
- Only Flamethrowers and Shotguns
- Incendiary nades allowed
- Fireaxe melee
- Sociopath perkdeck
- as many rainbow colours as the game allows through mods
Rules:
-10 heists have to be cleared; 3 from Payday: The Heist, 3 from the beginning half of Payday 2, 3 from the latter half of Payday 2, and ending with the White House, in chronological order.
Other class ideas:
Engineer-Shotgun, pistols, wrench melee and sentry deployables.
Pyro-Flamethrower, shotgun, fireaxe melee
Scout-shotgun, pistol, bat, has to use Yakuza or rogue (speed or dodge)
Sniper-sniper, SMG, machete
Soldier-shotgun, RPG, klas shovel
Heavy-minigun, shotgun, fists
Medic-crossbows and saws (idk about this one)
The only thing missing from this run was a mod that plays one of Sniper's jeer lines every time a Sniper downs you.
An interesting spin you could try is doing a multiplayer run, where you and your friends are restricted to any class you choose for the rest of the run with no duplicates
The spy stealing the sentry turret is just cannon backstory now
If I'm remembering correctly, this is the video that made me look into payday 2 as a game id actually like to play and not just one of those games that I keep getting videos about recommended to me for some reason, cheers for that.

I feel like out of the other tf2 classes heavy and maybe scout would be intresting:
Heavy:
-only minigun and maybe shotgun secondary
-only ICTV as soon as possible (or mods could be used to get it)
-no movement speed increase, that basically means no skills in artful dodger tree (second wind allowed so you can have acces to silent killer skills)
-health based perk deck
Scout:
-only shotguns and maybe pistol secondary
-movement focused (interpret it however you feel will make for the best content)
-dodge based or yakuza perk deck
-no armor, only suit
-maybe forced frenzy to make you more fragile so it will be more challenging, but this might be a bit too much
-maybe a rule so that you need to finish heist in certain amount of time, although I'm not sure how you could decide how long is too long
I feel like other classes won't be that interesting or difficult: Pyro might be, but it might be too easy, annoying or not that entertaining; Soldier would be a demoman rip off; Engineer also might be interesting, but I don't really know how it could be made difficult and interesting; Sniper would be too easy I think; I don't know how you could make Medic so that it would make sense.
That's a long comment, but anyway good luck on future challenges, they make for great content and I can't wait to see more.
try the Restoration Mod overhaul for this game. it allows backstabs for the switchblade and the butterfly knife.
I’d love to see a challenge run based around the heisters themselves.
Example-
Can You Beat Payday 2 as Dallas?
- Play only Dallas
- Only skills in Mastermind and Crew Chief Perk Deck.
- Only weapons Dallas has used in Live Action/Gameplay Trailers are used. Like the JP36. Crosskill, etc.
That face is absolutely TERRIFYING if you were using this as background noise and just took a glance as the giant spy faces randomly popped up
A poison only run would be fun.
Rules:
Only do damage though sources that can cause the poison effect:
So for guns: The Tombstone Slugs and the launchable Viper Grenades
For throwables: The throwable Viper Grenades
And for melee: the Kunai, and the syringe.
Accidental Mentions of other Spy's weapons:
Your Eternal Reward 15:24
Cloak and Dagger 25:06
Dead ringer 19:28
i definitely want to see a can you beat payday 2 as the tf2 pyro, using the judge with explosive ammo to replicate the flare gun, and the flamethrower, the fireman axe as the melee and wearing the gasmask would be hilarious. keep up the amazing work and i cant wait for your next heist.
i love this. please dont stop the series
Something I think could've been done to aid the no silent firearm issue would be the Judge. Yeah, it's technically a shotgun but it is a revolver after all, and you could equip it with slugs to make it more revolver-like
Video predictions:
Panic room flashbacks
Still sucks at stealth even with spy tf2
Sociopath infiltrator or hitman
2 lifelines used
Open vault
Jimmy
Forgets pig loot in slaughterhouse 😔
Tip: On loud heists, you can type cl_interp 5000 into console, allowing you to teleport around and "trickstab" all the cops no problem! Be careful though, you can either lose connection or get vote kicked by the salty cops. Use with caution!
Just finished the video. Very fun video man, looking forward to other TF2 characters run
You should do pyro next also love the videos
How to do it: flamethrower.
@@potatis1097 İt would be funny if he just talked like this 'mmph mmph'
*"Doing something no English man ever should. Becoming French"*
Props to you for doing that. French people gonna give up before they tried to become English man xD
The judge is technically a snubnosed revolver so if you blurred the rules you could stealth
Considered it, though the throwing knives would be more fun to be honest!
8:17 “that wasn’t a face stab that was a matador”
*right behind you (the song from meet the spy) starts playing*
I remember doing firestarter stealth in vanilla with a friend. Its torturous, i kid you not, we spent 2 to 3 hours straight, failing attempt after attempt, the last run, the successful one, was 50 minutes long by itself. Genuinely thankful you decided to not go through that hell alone.
If you ever do a heavy video you should do a rule where you have to force a russian accent for the entirety of it
Not sure anyone's going want to sit through that one...
@@TheKknowley please do, the attempt itself would be pretty funny
@@TheKknowley if you do a pyro video try to instal a mod that “removes violence” and replaces that with wacky things
Judge shotgun?
It’s meant to be the enforcer a spy weapon for tf2 it looks very close to the judge
59:20 Okay, so here is a thing I noticed with No Mercy
Over by the panic button that keeps causing problems, there is a room full of people.
Your challenge runs are absolutely amazing. Can’t wait for the next one :)
Oh my goodness! Great Ceaser’s ghost! I even recommended this to him and I believe a lot of other chaps recommended this too, jolly good show old bean
oh those precious perk decks. oh that precious precious skill tree. how very neat indead.
I love how throughout the video you keep making references to spys weapons and gimmicks
Finishing fire starter fully in stealth took me around 50 tries WITH guns so I can’t imagine how rough it was with just throwing knives. Props
brand new idea for maybe not a challenge run but just an interesting way to play. play as Agent 47 in payday ie: suit only, stealth when possible, weapons that agent 47 would use, lets say for simplicity, snipers and pistols. and only killing targets (hector, Ernesto etc) everyone else must be intimidated and taken hostage while in stealth. mods allowed if anything can be found to make it more interesting and more hitman-ish. idk if this is even possible for a full run but to me its sounds like fun
i love this guy he acts out the spy so vvell vvith the classic "narrating-voice"
vve all knovv and love
also, that quote "doing something no English man ever should, becoming French."
The Spy doesnt really strike me as someone who kills innocent Civillians, but im not all too familiar with his Lore, otherwise great Video.
how about a payday 2 nuzlocke?
the rules are:
- start at level 100, with infamy
- you must play the character's respective perk deck (and maybe weapons too)
- all heists are to be played on death sentence (with or without ai, your choice)
- if you fail a heist, the character you were playing as "dies" and can no longer be played (as such, their weapons and perk deck is no longer accessable either)
- if all characters "die", you lose (and have to start the entire career mode again)
- (optional) leech and stoic (maybe hacker?) are banned, and duke (and joy if hacker is banned) becomes a "wildcard" character (can play any allowed deck, regardless of whether or not the character said deck's character is "alive")
THE MEDIC
Use a crit build
Only use the crossbow
(I’m not sure if there’s an actual regular saw and I’m too lazy to check so) use the buzzsaw
Oh I guess you can also use medkits if you eant
And while it conflicts with Sicario and Hacker it's fun to think that there is an electrocuting grenade that could easily pass as a sapper with the added benefit of frying some cops while you're at it.
fully modded dual broncos are my favourite thing for taking out dozers, it makes it so smooth and easy! love playing with them.
I really wanna see the version of this challange as heavy
Rules:
-Only miniguns/shotguns/fists/boxing gloves
-Only FAK as sandwichs
-Always heavies armor
-Lifelines includes BFF allowing for extra allay simulating medic but also requaiering to play on BFF modifier
Another neat challenge run idea:
How far can you get in Payday 2 with ONLY base game gear?
(definitely a challenge and not being too poor to afford all of the DLC in the game)
In a game where the weapons, perk decks, and attachments are plentiful and powerful: what if we were to throw those away and stick to the most basic of tools?
The rules are simple:
If a weapon has no DLC / Community / Event tag, it can be used.
Same rule applies to attachments, melee weapons, and throwables.
If a perk deck does not require DLC / Community, it can be used.
(Bonus for using base game masks, materials and patterns.)
Stealth is optional.
I'd like to see if base game gear can at the very least make it to the end on the highest difficulty and maybe compete with the modern day gear. Not everyone is getting a nice payday nowadays, so this is for the heisters who barely scrape by daily.
ok but a jacket run could be really interesting, but really hard if done... wrong? right? eeh.
-guns must be guns you can find in the HM games (AR style rifles, pump shotguns, etc.)
-only melees similar to ones found in HM (you arent limited to the HM dlc melees, but thats a good baseline)
-one down always on, irrespective of difficulty
-no armor (trying to lean into hotline's one-hit death system)
-sociopath *only*
-jacket only (duh.)
-hotline miami masks only (its cosmetic but still, why not)
EDIT: also, if you want some extra visual variety, the tailor expansion mod has a skin for the dragon bomber that resembles jackets colors from hotline 1
maybe try beating payday as the heavy
-lmgs only (to represent heavy’s collection of miniguns)
-fist or boxing gloves as the melee (stock fists, gru, or kgb)
-a shotgun as your secondary (forgot if you can do that or not its been a while since i last played pd2)
-either have the highest amount of health or armor as you can
-perks going into maximizing health and armor along with ammo (crit maybe, since a heavy with crits is horrifying)
-med bag and/or first aid kits (sandvich)
As a Pyro main. I'd love to see a Pyro run.
Flamethrower
Shotguns
Anything that is a fire axe or other pyro weapons.
Molitovs are allowed.
Additionally. Keep a cloaker kill count since spy checking is something pyros do.
Bonus challenges.
Its FCKING RAWWW!
Beat a heist on Overkill or above with the rare mod on the flamethrower
Blue on Blue.
Kill a medic with a fire axe.
Bonfire of the cockroachs.
Kill Soza, and The Commisar with the flamethrower or other fire based weapons.
I hope you enjoy these suggestions
if i recall correctly its possible to jump the firestarter fence which stops the alarm from ever going off as long as you dont cut the fence
"Doing something no English man ever should. Becoming French"
YOU SUPPOSED TO DESTORY THE FRENCH NOT JOIN THEM!
As a professional spy main this is actually true with snipers as they can be the worst enemy you can ever meet making it hard to gain back stabs
I have never seen this game before, but I enjoyed the video!
"Fortunately my crew AI were surprisingly functional here" crew AI is very useful most of the time for me, sometimes more then humans
i have a theory on your inverse mission thingy, your may be relaxing on easy ones because it thinks it doesnt need to focus causing you to become sloppier, while if its meant to be harder your brain puts you into hightend focus mode to achieve your goal, making it seem easier.
*if only* the interaction circle had the spy yelling *YES* or *BONJOUR* everytime it completed would make that mod even better
First 20 seconds of the video and you already have yourself a new subscriber.
I stopped playing payday 2 a long while ago, but I still love watching your videos. It would be cool if you made a bit of payday the heist content :]
What is funny about mallcrasher, is the game doesnt say that it is stealthable
Dude the fucking spy interaction circle becoming huge has me rolling oh my God
