    ohhh, myy myyyyy! i just found this video. i have looked high and low for “dino” beef ribs, vs the typical short ribs, which are good too, but i want the big ones like i saw in a restaurant in fairfax va. no stores have them, or when they do, its only bone, no meat, and over priced. so just now, i put this on pause, i looked on line for “dino ribs” and found a fantastic deal with a very reputable company and ordered some! this is my birthday gift to myself. i just told the hubby that, so maybe i will make the gift from him so he wont have to worry too much about getting me stuff, lol

    Rus, I got my 42/20 pellet grill about a week ago. I live about 20 miles from LSG's new office in Conroe Tx. Their new location is fantastic. Keep making videos, because I learn something new with each one you make. The Dino ribs was the first one I watched after I got home with my Christmas/birthday present. Your videos are very informative, so keep em coming. Merry Christmas from Texas.

    The best part was the "Dance" at the end, could tell you loved the ribs. I use to live near ATL and would got to a BBQ that served big Beef ribs like those. I "LOVE" pork ribs but those big beef just blow even the best pork ribs out of the water. I have never been able to find those beef ribs at a local store so thanks so much for the link, I'll be odering some "DINO" or as I use to tell friends about ribs like that "FlintStone" ribs. Much respect and may every meal be your best ever.

    Great video, looks amazing! Just have to ask, was the closing segment a “nod” to the film Snatch?

      Thanks we appreciate it! I've never seen that film, so that would be no. Thanks again!

      @@SmokyRibsBBQ no worries! The “moves” and the background music made me think it might be case, but over 21 years ago from its inception and title, probably makes it obscure. Either way, great bbq and awesome content! Love your videos and presentation!

    Hey Russ, I’m looking to upgrade to a bigger heavier smoker. I was about to buy the new Timberline XL from traeger. But after seeing this LSG pellet smoker holly cow. How much do you recommend this cooker to me?

    • @SmokyRibsBBQ
      @SmokyRibsBBQ  2 роки тому +1

      That’s easy! I would recommend it above any pellet smokers out there! It’s in a league of its own. When that Traeger is recycled to tin cans, the LSG will still be purring away. I honestly believe that!

    What do you think about a water pan in with those Dino ribs?

    Wanted to get back into raising beef or bison 40 years ago. Wife thought it would lose money; "happy wife happy life." Now the only way I'm getting dino ribs would involve rustling.

    How long did they take in the foil and also overall cook?

      If it weren't for it getting dark earlier this time of year, I wouldn't have wrapped them at all, but I had to accelerate this cook to have daylight to finish the video. Took another 1.5 hours after wrapping. Total cook time was around 5.5 hours, but that will depend on weight of your ribs, and pit temperature. When they probe tender they are done. Thanks for watching!
