@@SmokinJoesPitBBQ No sir! I thank you for sharing your God given mastery of all things BBQ! I wish I was there...Do you ship your delicious food in the USA.?
Did some over the weekend and made a Tex Mex feast with em and omg cannot beat a perfectly cooked beef rib for flavour, juiciness and tenderness, thank you brother love your channel
Man, those ribs are huge. Did you flip your vehicle over, when you took those ribs home? I think Fred Flintstone would be proud of those ribs. They sure look awesome. A nice cook. I love anchovies. If people don't like them, but they like Worcestershire sauce, the anchovies are in there. Cheers, Joe! 👍👍✌️
Looking awesome Joe! Yep, keep it simple with beef ribs. I only use Kosher salt, ground pepper corns and coffee grounds (and the German in me makes me us mustard for the binder).
Nice job Joe. With the prices of meat I have to order Dino's or even order from Sams. Them things shook like jelly. You know my love for ribs and Beef are just as good... Good video my friend.
I enjoy cooking beef ribs as much as brisket. I may have to road trip to HEB until the one by me opens up later this year. I still can’t believe we are getting one!
Nice looking ribs Joe. I bet those were delicious. I have found that HEB has a great selection of meat. Plus the will butcher anything for you also. Thanks for sharing….
About to give this a try this weekend. I think I will leave a thin layer of fat because I like that grissle. I'm in San Antonio using a Mastebilt charcoal/wood smoker that uses an electric fan. Cooked a lot of meats but never Dino ribs.
Hey Joe, I went ahead made these dino ribs on my pellet grill and they came out amazing. Wish I could send you some picks. Thanks for your videos and so many tips of advice. JCM
Fun fact - There is a Worcestershire sauce called "W Sauce". It's much thicker and bolder. One of my subscribers turned me onto it. If you like the regular kind, check it out. It's quite tasty. Nice looking ribs sir!
Joe, Great video. Very well done. I have been using a Yoder YS640 for years and I have an opportunity get a YS1500. Is there much difference in pellet consumption between the 640 and 1500?
You know, not much. It all depends in the temp you set the 1500 at. Check out the video I did a couple of weeks ago on an overnight brisket. I used like 10lbs of pellets only.
Smokin' Joe's Pit BBQ Thank you for your response. I just watched your “overnight brisket cook” and your brisket was awesome. You have given me the nudge to get the YS1500. Thank You!
Never smoked meat and may try it this summer. Question what is the reason for wrapping the ribs in butcher paper? I never heard of that. Thank you great video.
If you like these ribs try beef back ribs smoke for 2 hrs at 275 then wrap for 1 hr then sauce at the very end something sweet. Not as much meat but tons of flavor.
Looks wonderful! But can someone tell me what the difference is between brontosaurus ribs and Dino ribs? I assumed they were the same but I see people say there is a difference. Which of the two are used most for BBQ?
Yabba-dabba delicious👍😊
🤣 I laughed my ass off reading this comment!🤘 Thanks Bobbi!
because of your prime rib video I bought a yoder. best smoker ever. thank you. Eric

Lucky you! Now, $13.51+ / lb. So much for me retiring to Texas next year!
They look good smokin Joe You got a try smoking onion rings wrapped in bacon but the onions have no Batter on them they are great
That sounds delicious! I'm gonna give them a try. 👍🏼

Beautiful! What temperature do you set your Yoder at?
Hello Jim, usually 275°.
Out of all the different brands of pellets, what brand do you think gives off the best smoke flavour? Ribs look amazing BTW!
Bbq'rs Delight by far are the best. They make the pellets for many companies out there. 👍🏼
Those ribs looked amazing, great job .
Cooking up some ribs on the Weber this wknd . Though sadly will have to share with the rest of the family 😂
As Jimmy Walker might say, "Dino-mite"!!!

Thanks Aaron, mainly to speed up the cook a bit. 👍🏼
Wow, look at those ribs, they are huge! Only thing that would beat these would be a real 60 million year old Dino rib.
YEEYEE
🤘
Damn Joe talk about MOSTER RIBS.... I could taste those bad boys feom here!
Hey Joe so what should the internal temp of those dino ribs be when they are done?
205° and I let them rest for 30 minutes 👍🏼
If you like these ribs try beef back ribs smoke for 2 hrs at 275 then wrap for 1 hr then sauce at the very end something sweet. Not as much meat but tons of flavor.
Beautiful Joe! Would I get tge same result from a YS 640. I am awaiting mone. I have no need for something as big as the 1500.
Soo good 👍
nice trim job
Yessssss!
STX Beef is in Corpus Christi, TX.
Oh nice! Good quality beef. 👌

Awesome 👌 new subscriber
Did you have to order those ribs or were they already at the store. My closest HEB is 35 miles away.
They were in stock. I would call ahead and have them hold a rack for you.
Looks wonderful! But can someone tell me what the difference is between brontosaurus ribs and Dino ribs? I assumed they were the same but I see people say there is a difference. Which of the two are used most for BBQ?
What kind of wood did you use?
I used post oak. 👍🏼
You didn't mention resting the ribs. Did you do like a cooler rest or something like that?
Why do you leave the membrane on? Thanks
Just preference. I feel it hold the ribs together a bit better. 👍🏼
You think W sauce is awkward. Look up Garum, a sauce they put on meat.
What's up Joe, nice video. I looked up Stx Beef, but I didn't see where I could order some of there Dino Beef Ribs?
Hey David, I guess HEB buys from them. Not sure if they sell retail or not. 👍🏼
@@SmokinJoesPitBBQ Thanks
what cut beef ribs are those what do i ask for at the butcher, what are they called?
Hey, I don't mind it being a little tough, but does leaving the fat on increase or decrease the flavor?
Thanks, Isaac H.
dayum!
What was your process for resting the beef ribs if you did so ?
Just rest it on the counter for 30 minutes 👍
@@SmokinJoesPitBBQ I’m going to assume wrapped?
@@MyTowerofpower correct
Hey joe, great ribs.
I wanted to know why you use butcher paper, and not aluminium foil?
Thank you, just to preserve the bark is all. Foil works too. 👍🏼
I’m so hungry my stomach is eating itself watching this.
When you’re doing that can you remove the membrane also is there a reason why you’re keeping it?
Basically, it keeps the rack together. If removed, the meat tends to fall completely off the bones.
