I waited until i got married, I was a virgin, been married 31 years, and are teaching my children to wait until they get married. I'm teaching my son's the same as I am my daughters. Y'all made great points as to why you should wait 2. Good job!

You’re right Rayshaun only one person. Our Anniversary is in May ,32 years of marriage and still going strong. A man has to Love The Lord in order to Love his wife.
I am not a believer in waiting until marriage as that does not guarantee that you are free from catching diseases and/or gonna marry someone who satisfies you. However, I absolutely believe they should wait until they are grown (all the while ensuring they are aware of what all can come from sex). Growing up in the church, I had to learn a lot from friends versus talking about it with my parents who only viewed it from a religious standpoint...forgetting that we are still humans and it’s natural to have certain feelings. I have 2 sons and my husband and I plan on being as frank and candid as we possibly can without the idea of fire and brimstone if they have an “unclean thought”.
I'm teaching/taught my daughter to wait until she felt she was really ready and to then make the decision for the best birth control method SHE FELT would be best...we also discussed the different STD's And the possibility of being a single teenage parent.. so far so good she's 22 no children...but since raising children don't come with a rule book I JUST DID THE BEST I COULD 🤷🏾♀️.sorry for the book😊
My husband and I didn't have sex until we were married. We had people who laughed at us because we chose to wait. My response to them is that we aren't perfect but we respected each other and we made a conscious decision to wait until the wedding night (honeymoon). God has blessed us in many ways because we chose to obey the Word of God and wait. This isn't judgment against those who didn't wait but I would say that it is right to wait and do the right thing. Holiness is never going to be in style and that's why holiness must be a choice. Be ye holy for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:16.

I will tell my children do it when your ready, not pushed into doing it , and I will educate them on sex, from spiritual and physical aspect. I’m not religious person or my husband, we are spiritualist. So all we can do is guide them and educate them on the risk, it’s more to it then STDS. When they are ready they are ready and you can’t stop them all you can do is educate before society miseducated and lead them !
