I must admit I eyerolled the idea of an european theme when you released the project but now I'm so glad youre doing it. I even stop in the middle of a random scene just to appreciate the built.
Another great episode! I love love love the more modern area, it blends really well because of the colours and how the buildings still looks European and older. Ah I'll never get over how neutral some of the certain roads and areas looks, makes it seem almost like I'm just watching a real view of a real city, it's so crazy what you can do with this game! Can't wait for next episode, but do get some rest!
It would be cool if you would make broken ruines nearby or even in the city, a lot of european cities have that. It’s also protected by the government so it can’t be destroyed or something. And a big castle somewhere on a mountain or around a mountain would be awesome. Love the videos!
it would be cool if some of those really tall walls could become small shops. So its like 'underground' shops. I think it could be a cool way to fill some of the very blank walls around the city. think about a road with a big wall for the terrain difference. above the wall are houses which are level with another road higher up. However, level with he original road are small shops that extend inside the wall.
I would love to live in this city. Your work is amazing. One thing though, you might want to put some fences near that playground so children won't fall like raindrops. =D
If you are ever going to make an airport. I've been to the airport of Dublin. It's an amazing, compact and good buildable airport. Nice video by the way 😊😎
Do you plan on having some "natural" stone face cliff ? I know it's not the most safe of options IRL but given the aggresiveness you're having with terrain differences it might works on the visual side...
Strictoaster please tell what is this asset ( building looks like idk 4x6 ?ua-cam.com/video/Rvhq-Px5FyU/v-deo.html when your logo shows up its on left side , halfly 45 degrees on one side corner on 2nd looks liek residentrial , with this kinda glass circle tower on this 45 angle .... looking for it whoel day cant fin
@@strictoaster I found , it was russian resi building 009 . But now something else concerns me , the red pedestrian crossings XD but ill take a look at your assets now maybe ill find answer

2:05 "In this episode I focused mostly on details" Oh wow thank you Strict that really narrows down which video on your channel you are talking about.
Haha, agreed.
But he ment that he didnt build many houses or stuff, which he still does

2 hours livestream and you end it with... Another 15 min of quality video? Awesome!
Rackie i was 2nd....
Fantastic work, this island looks extremely cozy, so much so that if it would exist irl I'd come to live there!
That shot at 15:25 is just beyond amazing, I love it!

One of those hills is just asking for a funicular railway to the top..... the Paris Funicular on the workshop would fit right in!
All the layering and clipping is my favorite part about Nydal. Can’t wait to see what the monument is!

Thank you Strictoaster, very cool!
15:11 Maybe add some fences for safety here? :P
Yeah, little kids are gonna fall to their death there.
Darwinism!
Double You lol thought the same
You should build houses on the coasts, away from the city, spaced from each other. out from town, little vacation homes in a way.
I agree, the hill could also be good for small cabins
Love that idea!!!
Just nice little vacation homes outside the city
Thanks for making the transition harder on your before and after, makes a real difference :)
Nydal is looking great! Also I'm gonna guess it's an observatory on the hill.
I'll guess too! 🙃. I think a giant lighthouse
Or a cable car to the other hill
Light pollution would block the view of the observatories

I tried that before once, they don't look too realistic :/
Love how the build is going. Could you please include some night time cinematics in the next video?
The next video cinematics are already recorded, but I'll try to get a few more night shots the one after.
Every episode is as amazing as the one before! Keep up this incredible work!
Keep up the great content. I agree, a marina would look great!
This is honestly one of my favorite things on UA-cam. See you next episode.
Love this series. Great work Stric!
I'm really into this Nydal Series
Thank you for the stream! Right on to this one!

I have been waiting so long for this :)
Sounded fine to me! great vid as always!
Hey Strict great build and great video!!! Just a thing, pls make a monument or a tourist attraction for nydal in later episodes
Thanks. I learn so many cool tips from your videos.
Great job, keep up the good work
How are you pushing down the walls into the terrain? Prop and tree anarchy and what are you pressing to lower and make higher!?
Use the Trondheim Airport as inspiration!!
No Flesland Bergen its better
Have you shared your Theme Mixer settings? love the textures you're using. Especially Cliff and Gravel.
I'm not really using Theme Mixer on this one, mostly just one theme. Watch the first episode.
Awesome! Another episode :D
Beautiful city! I love all the detail. Amazing detail in terrain textures as well.
We juat celebrated the world War 1 centenary, this is a European city and it would be interesting to see a ww1 memorial in Nydal

Some entrances to underground parking underneath the office blocks would be realistic.
Will u try the Industries bro? Looking forward to it! Cheers!
Unlikely...

Maybe you should put some foliage on that empty roundabout that was somewhere at the beginning of the end cinematics.
I would really like to see some more of the mass transit stuff I really like watching that stuff
I kinda like the bit more roomy sound :)
Good suprise!
Wait a moment, 14:39 how did you managed to remove this ugly tram track connection with the 30 degrees rotation ? o.O
Elite tram tracks in Workshop.
@@DV-13 Thank you ^^
What is the building at 2:41?
Hey! Is there any way to find that stream/tutorial nowadays?
how do you move and adjust things so freely like that?
When you scan the twitch chat so you can find the latest episode, hehe. :D
Stream squad here.
when are you, flux, and jay releasing the Beryllium Flats map from FBS
Flux is the map master, but unfortunately given his schedule I doubt he'll post it.
Have you considered playing “Foundation” ?
Daaaang!! I wish live there
Pls. Put more statues.😀
Yes, 100% agreed.
@strictoaster how do i get props and other stuff to clip through the ground.
Prop it up mod (I think)
You need the "Move It" and "Prop Snapping" mods.

What mods do you use?
Check the description of the video
7:59 What did strict say?
"There is still some of those weird cuts that happen when you use surface painter alongside a road or something"
+Hai-mel "or something like that" actually :D
Nydal sounds Scandinavian... is it?
Norwegian. So ya.
Reina Kobayashi 小林麗奈 nice im from norway :D

Reina Kobayashi 小林麗奈 ah okay, im a new subscriber only watched the last 5 episodes or so.
Its not Norwegian, its just a random European themed city with a name that means something in the Scandinavic languages
Can I move to Nydal
Can we have a save of the map ?
