Chevy wipers park straight up. 2005 Chevy Impala.

My 2005 Chevy Impala wipers were parking straight up on the windshield. The park tab on the mechanism was stuck and not catching the tab in the bracket to park properly. This is how you fix it.

Nice I'm having the same issue.so please tell me what u did to get that metal mechanism unstuck? Did u use WD? I can't figure mine why it doesn't Wana get unstuck.thinking of just buying the whole thing
