Thank you so much for the problem and and solution to the wiper transmission linkage that was jumping off the motor crank. Having the part # for the bushing replacements from Dorman was really nice. Your a real pro. That was what my problem was
Thanks for the video . I literally just had my wipers go out after driving 160 miles in the rain fuse is perfect and you dont hear the motor so the obvious is the motor is shot . And you seriously just helped me out on how to fix it.thanks brotha. Man I remember how it was before youtube . You either knew it or you figured it out yourself. But thankgod for YT And thank god for you putting out this video
Hi Paul thanks a lot. I'm a total rookie and trying to do this myself. Can you please link how i can get a 15mm socket that i can use on my power drill? i don't know how to even search for the tool that connects the socket to the drill.
@@PaulPhillipsFix you are life saver!! I got these sockets and it turns out my 15mm was little tight for the rusted wipers so i got 5/8inch socket that removed the viper transmission..all i had to do was to refix the bushes and works like a wonder . Thank you sir
Hello sir passenger side wiper went out today I’m hoping this is the problem worked then it didn’t . Would there be any other problem that can stop a wiper from working ???
If only your passenger side wiper went out then it is definitely the wiper transmission. You can find replacements for fairly cheap on rock auto .com and other various online sites. Thanks for watching and please subscribe.
I had the same problem after bushing replacement. I found the best solution was to replace the wiper transmission and problem was solved. You can swap the old motor over to the new transmission. You can get a new transmission cheap on E Bay.

So I just changed my wiper motor and now the motor arm is scraping as it turns any ideas why?
Look to see if has gotten bent somehow. Make sure that the plastic bushings that fit together are clean and in good condition.
Thanks for the reply I'll check it out
Awesome thank you

Hey Paul Phillips Fix, I got a new bushing but the arm keeps falling off when I put a little resistance on it, what could be the problem?

Okay thank you
So I have to replace the wiper transmission? Because I replaced the bushings too and yea the arm is prone to falling off
Lol says to knock off all debris so it doesn’t get sucked in but knocks it off in an over the engine compartment
Fell right through or will blow out first drive. I was busy freezing my ass off and couldn't worry about details.
Tell little Honey I say hi! Good video btw
Will do, Thanks from Honey and thanks for watching.
