It's not actually too useful in solo content. It just starts your natural regen, which is tied to recovery. The problem is, the regen stops when you get damaged, and when you're soloing, all enemies are shooting at you, so you're unlikely to be able to regen much health, if any at all, before your regen gets interrupted again.
My man did the second run within the timeframe of me leaving work, staying up all night, and went to work the next day and this insane man was still on the grind. Bravo good sir, for tenacity if nothing else.
I’ve solod every dungeon except for this one, it is by far the hardest and frustrating, but at the same time the difficulty does make it fun, a good challenge
@@dinolikestea, have a linear for every encounter, and go slowly through the parkour, and crutch on solar 3.0 with restoration, going through a few times in a group then test running solo beforehand is also a good idea. Be really careful of the second encounter as you don’t have much time to step off the plate and the timer accumulates and doesn’t reset until you dunk an orb
Hope you get it, the most frustating thing for me was the backpacks, I kept on dying on them.. I got paranoid of them and then decided to always shoot them down before they explode

Tip for soloing Caiatl: When you reach damage phase, get somewhat close to her as she spawns, but not enough to get her to stomp. Look at which direction she's going, then immediately run up to her to get her to stomp you. You'll then have plenty of time to run over to the bell and kill the bellkeepers. Slug shotguns and glaives are the best at killing bellkeepers if you're not using the hammer. Bastion works really well too. Remember to melee the bellkeepers/Caiatl as you're getting booped/stomped so they don't throw you off the map. Same deal after finishing the damage phase on each bell. In the case of the first bell being one of the side ones, run behind her to get her to stomp you, then immediately go kill the middle bellkeepers. And get her to stomp you again near the middle bell of you see her going for the side bell so you can run over and kill the last bellkeepers. If the first bell was the middle bell, just stand back a little bit after damage phase ends, see which direction she is running, and immediately run up to her and get her to stomp you. Good luck to all who is still trying!
I caught the vods for the streams and they were really fun to watch, bit disappointed that you caved to solar in the end but its understandable to keep things lively for content and to relieve yourself. Definitely doable on void, did it as a voidlock but yeah caital's room was definitely a pain the ass as a solo player. Keep up the great work and content!
wow!! looks like you and I had a similar situation this weekend: I soloed the Duality dungeon. it took me just under 6hrs and I finished at 3am on the dot. my biggest enemy were the architects because of the countless inexplicable bell teleport deaths.
Funny thing about this solo flawless, it doesn't matter how tanky you are, or what "cheeses" you're using, the physics engine, backpacks and nightmare timer dont care, looking at someone with the emblem and thinking they aren't worthy of it because they used throwing hammers or Starfire warlock isn't right, trust me, go and do it yourself, you'll figure out why it's a hell of an accomplishment soon enough

I wanna say in response to 13:18, I really would've respected the choice to avoid solar but no one blames ya bcuz it is a GD dungeon of hell. ALSO since void has melee =grenade , nade=melee synergy I use FIREPOWER x3 (col.) to get nades back so damn fast BUT no one has streamed how all FIREPOWER mods work on 1col. charge of light. Controverses with this returns instantly no matter what
For my solo flawless clear on caitol, I used leader servent, callus mini tool, and the xenophage. It may be time consuming but it is by far the safest loadout because xenophage not only one shot bellkeepers from across the map, it also destroys the jetpacks as well. Reducing the chance of me dying to jetpacks on the floor. Surprisingly though, it only took me 2 attempts to complete a solo flawless.
@@Yashieyama best loadout if you're using hammers, by a mile, is first in last out, witherhoard, and cataclysm with bait and switch, then heart of inmost as your amour exotic Sluggy for bells and bellbois, witherhoard with bait and switch procced on your cataclysm for damage makes for a possible 2 phase or easy 3 phase, and heart of inmost for ability spam in place of a primary weapon
Caital tips: Between standard runs, take a few seconds to purge adds and shoot the backpacks. That way there’s less explosive threats when caital comes stomping. Also disintegration/crits make the backpacks never touch the ground. (Fusions, vortex nades, etc) though grenades and crits can cause a boom. Always start in the middle when you break the chains. That way you can kill the two bell keeps by mid and react to whichever direction Caital goes instantly. Always cut her off so she stomps while you deal with the other bellkeepers. If she goes for mid, stun her and try to clear both of the remaining sets. 2 bells>1 and a prayer. Strafe forward and backward during Dps to dodge snipers, but have a consistent angle. Also be warned, popping centurion shields with solar near the chains will most likely break them and start a Dps phase early. Same with grenades and other damage AOE. Solo flawless was a bitch, but damn is it nice to be behind me.
I am legitimately impressed she did the stomp-explosive-sling at the perfect angle to end your run. Like, damn. Bungie be programming them Nightmares something special.
Another comment on an 'ancient' video, but it's beyond interesting seeing a titan run around and not just have heart of in most light as the default exotic equipped to their person. Seeing Dunmarchers as the go too 'ad clear' exotic is just a hell of a thing to see, but it's quite entertaining seeing the perseverance! Though the eventual switch makes sense XD.

I’ve soloed this dungeon flawlessly and the backpacks are the most evil thing in destiny 2 so many runs just gone because of it. I love this dungeon tho I’ve got the title from it and consistently offer to help new people and my friends do it it’s such an experience
I’ve died to backpacks and snipers so many times on this encounter, even when Caiaitl only has a sliver of health. Not to mention the glitch were you die randomly when you enter the nightmare dimension. The whole final encounter is just pure pain.

You can in fact solo gatekeeper with the new solar bullshit. But you still can't solo the whole vog because they actually patched the finisher glitch which was required for solo atheon.
If you have the exotic titan glaive, there is a strategy with behemoth titan and synthoseps to gain massive damage on bosses. Edit: basically what you do is place the glaives bubble down, then use the behemoth slam attacks to gain massive damage, but you need to use the aspect that gives bonus damage to shatter
After a solid week and a half of attempting the solo flawless (I did get it btw lol), all these encounters seem physically impossible to me without atleast one stack of roaring flames.
Kill the Bellkeepers with a Fusion Rifle and they don’t leave backpacks behind! Highly recommend Forbearance with Surrounded + Radiant + Major Spec to ensure you can one-shot them under a variety of conditions.
Also fully upgrade the crown of sorrow to be able to focus high stats armor to be able to easily get triple 100. On my titan i have 100 resilience 100 discipline and 100 strengh
Fusion rifles like no composure and Cartesian destroy the bell keepers and their tanks or if you shoot the tanks while the bells are alive that will blow them up and not drop the tanks also great video hope you get the flawless soon:)

No dungeon or raid has tested my patience quite like how this one has. When you have a sliver of caiatl’s health left and the game just does the insta kill bug for doing things the normal way, it feels pretty bad. That was the closest I got to soloing the friggin dungeon which was after 4 hours. Now every time I get yeeted into oblivion by the physics engine by a new thing every time. And each time there was nothing I did wrong really. For example ghalran on my latest attempt was on his last third of health so he decided to play full chicken during dps phase and make me run to him as a punchy hunter. Little did I know that he was setting up to sit on me and squish me with his next attack. Ending the what was 25 minutes of work right there. That was a new one. Usually its some phalanx using their janky shield to yeet me 100 miles away. And worse still. I have done this dungeon every week and still no heartshadow. Calus knows I am there and is tormenting my guardian into joining the witness I swear.
I love my titan but I don't like little bonking hammer. I get tired of trying to throw it and I just super melee lunged into the target instead. I've tried dealing with it over the years, but never once liked it
l will say trying to play off meta is so rought when you arnt overlay good player or not knowing some builds but anyways l enjoyed watching you embracing the darkside

Should say this now, idk if you knew, but void has an aspect that instantly activates healing on melee kills, and it works with glaives

Been hopping in the streams time to time, this series has been amazing.
Tip for soloing Caiatl:

I did it with hammer build and I agree even with that it was still infuriating to get the emblem cause of physics(phalanx and boop bois) and backpacks

if you're doing a second attempt, tarrabah is very good as an ad clear weapon and bellkeeper melter, used it for both of my solo flawless clears
