I'm kinda fatigued. I'd love to see some good adult movies for a change. Like a Fargo, Silence of the Lambs, No Country for Old Men, Sicario, Gladiator, Aliens, Training Day, Shawshank. You could make 3 or 4 of those for the cost of one Flash or Black Adam.

If this movie does anything, I hope it motivates people to look up the animated movie and pick up the comics. Even if the comics feel a bit outdated and silly, by modern standards, they are filled with amazing character moments. The characters are solid. Contrary to popular opinion, I beleieve this movie should have been a Supergirl movie not a Batman flick.
But if they followed the comics, they couldn't create _their_ vision. @@MyShiroyuki agree, the actor in the CW maybe the better man in his private life. but in front of the camera Ezra Miller for me is the Flash. Thanks to Zach Snyder …
Personally, I have never been as repelled by an actor on screen as I was by Ezra Miller. To me, watching him he is like watching a bunch of cacti molded in human form. And I felt that way about Miller long before his choking spree even became a public thing.
Most of the people at work I asked had no idea the movie had even come out. Then they asked if "that guy from Justice League" was playing Flash and then expressed disappointment when informed. Some wondered why the CW Flash hadn't been cast. None of them knew about Ezra Miller's antics.

I think there were 4 problems with the Flash 1) Ezra Miller 2) Overloaded with pandering cameos distracting from Flash 3) Movie feels cobbled together out of about 3 different scripts 4) Ezra Miller (he's in it twice).
DC tried so hard to pull a Spiderman NWH, failed miserably because NWH had actual thought put into how multiverses work 💀 (Also Tom Holland doesn't choke out fans, but I digress)

The craziest thing about DC, Disney, Marvel, etc. is they completely turn off older generations with their sexual and political agendas, but then use cameos, classic storylines, and other props that are meant to try to appeal to the very older generation they just chased away!

When Ben Affleck was on screen it was good, Wonder Woman killed that. When Keaton was on screen I really enjoyed it despite Miller. I even liked Supergirl, that actually surprised me, even though there wasn't enough of her. Flash ending up in a universe with Clooney as Batman was just a giant effu.
There is no heroism in this movie. None except Supergirl. For the six seconds she explains why she was sent to Earth and how she failed and then she gets killed, that was the best the movie could do. Contrary to popular opinion, I'd have preferred this to be a Supergirl movie than Flash or Batman. The fact that they keep reusing Man of Steel should tell you that these folks are out of ideas, period. And reading comic books is out of the question because its too much work. This isn't THE Supergirl, sure. And her costume sucks, sure. But she was the only character that showed some emotion. Keaton in a Batsuit is a good selling point. Bit THAT isn't 1989 Batman. I do not believe any Batman would walk into a room, look at an imprisoned, dying young woman and go, "Oh, its not Clark Kent. Waste of time. Lets go!"
All the characters from the Justice League are god awful due to the movies being terrible. And yet they still managed to be best part of THIS movie. That should tell the studios something
As usual, the media (and as a result Hollywood) will take the exact wrong lessons from Flash’s failure, similar to they did not understand Top Gun’s success.
The studio deliberately kept Ezra Miller away from advertising, and now the access media claims the lack of Ezra interviews is what killed the movie. If Ezra Miller had been all over the ads for this movie, I’m sure the access media would now be claiming that audiences felt too unworthy of his “insinuating” majesty to see his movie.
My favorite part was when Ezra Miller said, "It's Flashin' time," then Flashed all those kids. ...Wait, that wasn't part of the movie? Oh. Oh, no. Oh, no no no no no no...

I sat in the parking lot of the movie theater for an hour debating on whether I should go in or not. In the end my distaste for Ezra Miller kept me from going.
I refused to go and I don't feel less enriched by not going. I can't in good conscience watch and financially support an Ezra Miller movie. Didn't like him when they first introduced him and loathe him even more now. People just stand by their principles. What really gets me though is how the media is always saying how we need to separate the actor from the character (which is their way of saying not to have principles) with Amber Turd and Crazy Ezra. However, using Umbrella Academy as the perfect example, when Vanya's actress wanted to become an actor, they changed her from Vanya to Victor instead of just recasting Vanya. Hollywood can't separate the actors from the characters themselves. They just want us to lower ourselves to their level. No thank you. Didn't watch that season of Umbrella Academy either. Principles are the hill we choose to make a stand and die on. I made my stand. Pretty sure plenty of other people are doing the same thing.
They also don't apply that the other way when they cancel people for dumb comments. So many people have lost their careers to saying something wrong but Ezra gets to go out and repeatedly do crazy things. I understand we all mess up but if you keep going out there and causing more problems it becomes a pattern of behavior not a stray comment once.
That weird author drooling over Ezra wants us to forget that Ezra is a sick demented criminal. Look at his butt! Forget that he did wrong and wasn't punished nearly as hard as a commoner!

The Flashpoint comics aren't great. The animated movie was better
If this movie does anything, I hope it motivates people to look up the animated movie and pick up the comics. Even if the comics feel a bit outdated and silly, by modern standards, they are filled with amazing character moments. The characters are solid.

None of them knew about Ezra Miller's antics.
saw someone show one of the movie shots with the Ezra on Ezra conversation and saying "Take the worst part of the Justice league and put it into the movie... twice"

I went to my local theatre to see flash oppening night. There was perhaps 5 people. To be fair I'm not in a huge city, but when I went to see John Wick 4, it was probably 75% full.
Spot on as usual. Basic human morality like “don’t choke random people” is lost on hollyweird now.

Right who can we get. Hmm we could get Tom Cruise no he's "bad". We could get Keanu. Nah let's get EZRA the freak! John Candy's Hologram as The Flash. The Flash as portrayed by Chris Farley's ghost being channeled by a chat gpt.
That's a great pickup really. The article in separate breaths claims people don't follow news and therefore don't know Miller is unhinged and then that everybody does follow news closely enough to know what changes are afoot in the world of DC movies.
Also, what exactly are insinuating lips? Are they ones that regularly speak insinuations? Extremely odd descriptive choice.

DCEU Wonder Woman is killing everything.
Bit THAT isn't 1989 Batman. cool story.
Great.
