It makes the most logical sense that the spider sense should only go off for actual danger. So a normal person throwing a punch at him should just be "meh". His reactions are heightened at any rate but yeah. The whole "My spider sense is tingling" was typically for "Oh shit... something that can actually hurt me or pose a threat to others in the vicinity."
Dakota Johnson looks so dead inside. Imagine starring in a horribly written movie and contractually obligated to do interviews where you have to answer questions like "What makes this character special" or "What did you bring to the character that wasn't on the script?"
The whole mother hates me thing is so dumb. So in Naruto, there's a character named Gaara whose mother died in childbirth(complications due to his dad put a demon inside him before he was born.) Gaara's Uncle is the only one who ever showed him love. He then attempts to assassinate Gaara, who's like 5 years old maybe, and Gaara fatally wounds him. He explains he did it because he hates him for killing his sister, and his sister also hated him. That's why she named him Gaara, a demon that loves only itself. Fast forward, Gaara is the commander in a war and is fighting his father who was brought back to life as an undead super weapon (don't worry about it) His father then tells him after seeing the glorious and beloved leader his son has become, that his mother loved him so dearly she infused it into every grain of sand. Sand automatically shields Gaara when he is attacked, even if he tries to cut himself, it has since birth and he assumed this was the sand demon's power. His father explains it's his mother's will, as she loved him. This revelation strikes Gaara's core and the added imagery in the scene really makes it work. THAT is how you write this properly, not "oh my mom died in a strange place, she must've HATED me. Oh no, she didn't, she just had a reason for being in a strange place. Yay."
Gaara's arc is legitimately great and the final payoff in Shippuden is probably the best in the show. This is something that Western writers could never understand and mind you that they are making a live-action adaptation on Netflix.
@@avoxprime9562 OH GOD NO NOT ANOTHER ONE! AND *NARUTO* OF ALL THINGS!? That'd be the WORST anime to make live action!! Side tangent, question, HOW the fuck has nobody tried to make a live action YuGiOh?

Well that one girl could spend the entire interview talking about early 2000s fashion. She's a New Yorker ya know, it's all the rage there apparently. Of course it has zero to do with the film but she could fill up the allotted time.
So... They set the movie in 2003 so they "could use the song Toxic"? They do know you can use a song in any time after it's recorded right? Like, they didn't set Thor: Ragnarok in 1970 just so they could use Immigrant Song.
They set it in 2003 so it could connect to the MCU Spider-Man. Peter Parker is born at the end of this movie. So in 2017 (Captain America: Civil War), he would be age 14.
@russellhunter363 Maybe. Probably. But the guy talking at 4:23 seems just as confused about the whole thing when he says "We have the freedom to tell a story that feels 'right now', but set in 2003 so that you can, you know, have the song Toxic". To be fair, the other guy then says "one of the reasons we set it back in time is, first of all, Dakota Johnson could be in the movie". Point being they both sound like idiots lol
So according to modern Hollywood writers, there is no good or evil, unless you’re a man. It’s all about the pursuit of power, unless you’re a man. And any and all things are permissible as long as it’s in the pursuit of power, unless you’re a man. At least guys like Disparu make some great content out of it 😂
"There is no good and evil, there is only power and those too weak to seek it" [Voldemort]. Apparently, he and Palpatine are the ones behind all of these "modern" Hollywood movies.
I second that seed of wisdom and truth. I cannot believe how people are giving Sweeney a free pass because of her looks and body. Let’s not forget that no one is immune to the ravages of time. Even flowers wilt. It depends on how a woman defines herself. Sweeney doesn’t inspire others to become better versions of themselves. She does not empower women to be resilient in the face of adversity. She enjoys being admired and pampered by men who allow their lower half to dictate their choices in life. There is no radiance from her heart. There is no love in her soul. She revels in being worshipped like an idol. Don’t fall for her trap. I respect women who are kind to others regardless of their status and circumstances. I admire when women rebuild their lives after heartache and loss. I celebrate women who shake up the status quo with their pioneering spirits and tenacity. Also, I admire and respect men who are confident and fearless when it comes to his goals and aspirations. Who follow their hearts even when the rest of the world threatens to ruin him for going against the grain. A real man respects a woman who uplifts others around her. A real man loves a woman for her heart and soul. Not something as temporary as her looks.

15:30 This interviewers comment that Dakota Johnson is giving off Millenia Mother vibes is truly damning to her. Because it says to her face, that she is already too old, to fit into their young actress click. Hollywood is a heartless vipers nest where your appearance, especially as a young woman, means everything. That must have been a crushing moment for Dakota. To be called Mom, in comparison to the other girls. You can see in Dakota's entire reactions to this one interviewer, that she is really uncomfortable with her. Like Dakota can sense the undertone of complete disrespect, the interviewer is putting off. It's a hell of a business to be in.
To bring up Critical Drinker's remark on Charlie's Angels from back in the day - this movie had been in development as long as World Wars I and II combined. Funnily enough, both were Sony's productions.
When empowering each other is more important than the anything else. (Like character development, implications, editing, or making even a tiny bit of sense). That's Hollywood for you
I feel hilariously bad for Dakota Johnson. From the recent press tour of this movie, you can just tell that she looked so absolutely done with the movie to the point that she didn't even care anymore. 😂
I don't. She made 5 million dollars for this. how many people got to work 40 hours a week at a s*** job they hate and they still pretend to give a s***. And it might take them 15-20 years to make 5 million. nah f*** that b****
its called a job LOL you really feel bad? shes doing her JOB to promote her film......oh poor Dakota she has to have conversations oh how dreadful..... you understand she got paid rather well for all these interviews right??
I literally don't have any sympathy for her. She knows she was the perfect casting for Fifty Shades she should have known better than to take this role. The idea of her as a superhero is literally laughable.
You understand that money isn't everything right? Have you never had a well paying but soul destroying job? It's okay to feel sorry for a person if they seem unhappy with their work regardless how much they are paid. I don't particularly feel for her myself, especially of she's really is happy to be in a sequel, but clearly some people do, they may even have been there, and talking down to them for being sympathetic is uncalled for.

Let's produce a gender-swapped "Charmed." In the original, three beautiful young witches use their minds and magical spells to right various wrongs. We'll change the lovely witches into big, hulking, knuckle-dragging males who, instead of cleverly charming people to straighten things out, they beat the crap out of them. So instead of being charmed by this intervention, they are comatose. I don't know. Maybe we can change the name to "Coma."
*male power fantasy* - doing things men can actually do in extreme circumstances. Fighting in battles, making a last stand, self sacrifice, rescuing the women of their dreams etc. *Female power fantasy* - Be the best person in the room, be men and do things men do. Men make entertainment for everyone. Women make entertainment for women, and then wonder what the problem is or why they struggle with the male audience...after telling men "it's not for them". I'm confident that I can't think of s single time when a cast or director made a movie for men and constantly stated how it's great for "male empowerment" while telling women "this movie isn't for you". That is strictly a female manifested phenomenon. (Edit) I feel I should specify this is for "modern" women, women in early 2000's and before didn't have this problem and absolutely did make content for everyone.
Problem is "modern women" don't exist vast majority are just regular people. Modern women are probably only 1% of the population so they are focusing on a demo that essentially doesn't exist.
You forgot to add how they are strggling with female audience too. It's good to be factual. These movies are for nobody and women are not outrunning each other to get to the movies whenever one comes out.
Thursday numbers are in. "Madame Web" is at #2 a the box office, with only a little over $2 million. "Bob Marley" is doing ok, with $3.8 million... but the movie cost $70 million to make somehow, so it has a long way to go! How do simply biopics cost $70 million? Is Hollywood just embezzling like mad now that AI will soon replace them all?
I'd guess that they made the Bob Marley movie at certain original locations ... and TRAVEL COSTS are typically avoided and the reason for making movies in a big industrial hall with fake sets. If you travel and take your lighting and camera and wardrobe departments with you it will be expensive.

But still I think they are contacted before these events and told what to talk about and what to say to these interviewers. This is ridiculous. These women are too smart to believe that they're feeling empowered from a movie. I want to give these women credit in one respect. The whole mother hates me thing is so dumb.
So in Naruto, there's a character named Gaara whose mother died in childbirth(complications due to his dad put a demon inside him before he was born.)
Gaara's Uncle is the only one who ever showed him love. He then attempts to assassinate Gaara, who's like 5 years old maybe, and Gaara fatally wounds him. He explains he did it because he hates him for killing his sister, and his sister also hated him. That's why she named him Gaara, a demon that loves only itself.
Fast forward, Gaara is the commander in a war and is fighting his father who was brought back to life as an undead super weapon (don't worry about it)
His father then tells him after seeing the glorious and beloved leader his son has become, that his mother loved him so dearly she infused it into every grain of sand.

My grandma said Napoleon was Chinese
