She was such an unabashed fan of the Neville Brothers and the New Orleans music scene. You've all probably seen it, but there is a terrific interview on Johnny Carson the night after the Grammy in which she bubbles over with enthusiasm for what she experienced in NOLA.
Yes, I totally agree. The harmonies and melodies were so unique and beautiful. It's amazing how they created something so timeless. It's like they were able to capture something special in their music that will never be forgotten.

Starting to read Aaron Neville's memoir, Tell it Like it Is, and he talks about how nervous he was. Also that he nearly tripped on the wires on the floor as he was walking out. He said he didn't calm down until he looked into Linda's eyes, he never took his eyes off her for the whole performance. This was an incredible live performance.

Today is March 04, 2024, 8:25 pm. My dad told me that this is one of his favorite songs, so I listened to this masterpiece repeatedly. Finally, it became my favorite too! I love it and now I understand why my dad loves this song. I am currently 14 years old, and I love songs from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s because of my father. I thank him so much because through him, I learned to appreciate old music, not just the new and trending songs these days.
Dear God in Heaven, will I ever get enough of these two people. The more I hear them sing, the more I want to hear them. Some things should be preserved for generations upon generations to come, and this is most certainly one of them

I am so sad that Linda cannot sing anymore. She was a genius with every genre of music! Aaron spent time in prison more than once for car thefts. There were rumors that they dated for a bit but I do not know

Thank you. Such beautiful lyrics. Just saw a documentary on Linda and was so sad that she stopped singing in 2009 which was her last concert. She had to give up her singing career bcos of parkinson. So very sad😥!

I am so sad that Linda cannot sing anymore. She was a genius with every genre of music! Aaron spent time in prison more than once for car thefts. There were rumors that they dated for a bit but I do not know
