I think is was Porters idea but blending JDSiBBP and JDSiBBPR is a wild ride and you should definitely try out different ratios. It would be a fun video!
Lol that is fair. I am realizing right now I never posted my coy hill video... and here it is for it to debut in my tournament next... i guess I have a lot of editing to do
@nulife2410 it is a blend of 8 and up. The 8 year is the wheat whiskey component. The old stuff is corn whiskey. The blend makes for a complex experience.
An idea for a quick one-off (if your palate needs a brief holiday break from the tourney) - how about a blind to pick the best bourbon to go with eggnog? Nothing over $35 a bottle...or maybe $40...or $50. Regardless, something decent...*real* decent maybe, but still acceptable as a mixer for that festive holiday sludge...of which I am a huge fan btw. 👍🥃🎅
@yourdrinkingbuddy It'd be a fun sideways thing. It would already be in the nog - could mute or enhance certain profile elements. I am guessing wheaters and sweeters wouldn't necessarily be the best picks since the nog is gonna sweeten everything. Regardless, I'm getting some 101 since I never really considered before if it mattered...but for science, that's different ;-)
@@robchapa9769 i did get a bottle of wt101 rye today, but had a little concern after watching slb bbb video about the downturn in wt101 of late. I am not an aficionado of the product by any means, but plan on having some of the 101 straight. 👌
Great video, some interesting results.
The next round is absolutely rediculous.... Coy Hill vs GTS vs Stagg 24a... an absolute monster of a round. 🤦
Fun videos. Love some Driftless Glen. I was reluctant to try the FN10, but it is so good.
I agree on those foe sure. Love em.

I have a couple expiraments going with those bottles already!
Good job buddy! Following intently to see what will be your 🏆!
Thanks buddy! Hope you had a good holiday!
Awesome tournament, but to be honest, I kept looking up at the trio of Handies up on the shelf and salivating like one of Pavlov’s dogs. Cheers DB

Enjoyed this one
Thanks buddy! Cheers!
Wowzer
Right!? Those last two wheaters BLEW me away
FN10 is so good.
A truly amazing whiskey.
@@yourdrinkingbuddyis it the 8 year or 19 year?

I generally always mix with WT 101 or WT 101 rye. I will consider this. It is honestly a fantastic suggestion.

I have tried many, but hands down Evan Williams Nog is the best!

It's so amusing seeing you forget to give notes, must be some great pours!
Absolutely. This year has been a banger of a year for whiskey! And all the best stuff is in this!
