shame that the tapir cover up macro and map, apart from that, brilliant as always sir Aiz!
If people really jumping onto his stream to snipe his minimap and resources when they vs him, they're sad little losers.

That skirmish at minute 7 had everything a commerce age early on aggression could have. Some cav, muskets, 1 hp minute men, explorers and villagers getting down & dirty
It's quite sad that people are stream sniping Aiz, one of the most genuinely good guys in this community.

Would a more defensive lb/pike been a smarter choice to hold this back?
I think longbow pike defense has fallen out of favour in quite some time, in this match up. I do remember back in the day, on Legacy, people would do it. I think it can work but it sort of plays into Russias hand, as they can make strelet cossack.
@@LaddRusso91 I think it might have to do with the way play styles have developed over time too, lbp used to be a very slow, defensive style using a lot of walls and smart building/unit placement. Very similar to the latest mashed potato game that drongo has on his channel, just a bit less cancerous
