Really surprised the other guy resigned there, seeing how many vils he'd killed. I would think he could get a decent force of Ashis before Aiz got there, if aiz would have even decided to attack there. I would think the other guy could have held until his eco just won him the game.
I think Aiz was too, judging by how he typed "??" before typing gg.

He could have sent hatamotos from the consulate and make a couple of samurais to defend a batch of yumis.

I still think he would lose. The Howdah are capable of kiting the Samurai to death and baiting them at the same time. The Japanese player is then down an age, has a stagnant eco, and loses his entire military.
