Given that Spain can just rush Lakota in Age 2 with a wave of anti-cav melee units such as Rodeleros and Pikemen, this was a good game and good strategic response from the Lakota player.

I think that keeping the pressure was the right call. If he went for the TP line... maybe use those Age2 merc ship.

The Lakota made the right decision by applying pressure early because a FF from Spain or invasion with mainly melee units such as Rodeleros or Pikemen, which counter Lakota cavalry would pose a great deal of problems later on for the Lakota player m

Not sure what the camp movements did that game, didn’t they just build 2 forward war huts and play from there? Maybe I missed something 😅

Missed nothing, just a nice card to get double batch units, also the camp movements may help if your under attack in your forward base and want to pull your buildings towards your main base

Camp movement also saves you moving villagers forward and then building the building. It takes 50 seconds to build a war hut so building two is 100 villager seconds which is roughly 50 wood without upgrades and the walking time is about 30 seconds and that's if you use one villager. Sure it's still only around 600 wood if you are being generous but considering that the shipment order was camp movement/700 wood/600 wood, it was all about minimizing chopping and even then they did a lot :D.
