A side-by-side comparison between the original film Scream (1996) and Stab, the movie-within-a-movie in Scream 2 (1997). - Наука та технологія
In Stab, when he first stabs Casey’s chest, you can see how the knife is retractable.
It never even penetrated the robe. It literally bent and slid down instead. Worst visual effects ever.
@@urb089 it is literally the same knife from Scream 1 xD They just hide it better in the real movie xD
It’s supposed to look less realistic than scream scream is supposed to be real life stab is supposed to be a movie in that fictional real life so it looks less realistic
Yea its supposed its scream in scream
I love how the Stab movies have such a strong presence in all the sequels.
I love that you can buy Stab posters, a poster for a movie within a movie. May not seem like a big deal now but in the 90's? Amazing.
Stab is iconic as hell
One major difference between STAB and Scream was Casey was in no position to *actually* scream once Ghostface stabbed her. After she knocked the knife from him, he crushed her neck with his hands.
If the real Casey could shriek like MOVIE Casey did, while being stabbed 5 times in a tree no less, her parents would have found her out back.
I always thought it was strange how they got it spot on. The only people who would know what happened that night are all dead. Except maybe stu survived later told roman who is a director and he somehow was involved in the development on stab.
I want also to include the version of Scary Movie in this scene.
I been wanted a video , for this . Thank you !
same
The scene of Ghostface running after Casey in "Stab" is better than in "Scream 1,996", in my opinion.
Yeah but the stabbing effect was worse
Lol Tori spelling really ate that role up. I love her and Luke Wilson in this 😂😂😂
Wasn't she in Scary Movie 2 also?
@@llllshadowllllYup!
How did u get such high quality footage of stab lol?
This fictional movie of "stab" within the real movie of "scream" screws up my head. It's like movie ception.
i like how scream actively criticized the horror trope where the female suffering gets sexualized or dramaticized for entertainment and then it was used in "stab" to further criticize/make fun of it. the contrast between the movie and the movie within it is so clear most especially during casey's sequence. sadly, the trope is still very much present until today and outside the scream universe. you can always trust hollywood to find a way to insensitively reduce real-life tragedies into something that gratifies the audience and is almost always male-gazey.
Shut up.
please add randy's scenes revealed in Scream(2022) later!!
Oh yes
Do they actually have the hole stab scene and why won’t they release it
Broo I wish the stab movies existed, they would for sure be trashy compared to the actual scream movies but imagine how cool to just be able to see the movies they talk so much about in scream 1, like being able to watch stab 1 on your couch like mindy in the turner lane house
Where's Steve?

7. Success: "Scream 2" was also a commercial success, although it received slightly less critical acclaim than the original film
What makes the stab films kinda weird is that they get every little exact detail from the actual events ? That’s not realistic. No one is documenting this stuff as it’s happening lol.
Casey's scenes in STAB are very good, but of course there are many differences, for example in Stab after receiving the first stab in the chest, Casey only has a small blood stain and no a strong hemorrhage like Casey in Scream, another detail is that it would have been good if they included Steve and Casey's parents in STAB but since those shots were of rapid duration in Scream 2 that's why I think they didn't show them and I would have liked to see Casey from Stab hanging from the tree like the original but they only showed him repeatedly stabbing her up the tree, a reference to where he left her hanging and disembowelled in the original.
Sidney and Billy's scenes are really quite boring, they don't process any emotions and they look very dull and boring.
You should edit re-upload the video including the comparisons to Randy's scenes from Stu's house party that are already included in Scream 5.
The way he stabbed Casey in STAB was so Clean.
Cuz that’s the movie in scream
You Shouldn't Added Scary Movie (2000)
Nice
Please Make Christmas carol
It was only me who noticed that in the scene where Billy Loomis stabs Cassey in the chest, when she falls and punches him, there is a very quick scene of the teak wearing a mask, before the eyes were less big and wider and then it went to today's normal ghostface mask
Casey is one of my favorite characters in the entire franchise
I thought Stab-Casey's punch looked cooler than Scream-Casey's kick, although it would've been less effective obviously.
Why do the stab characters look 40 😂😂 frfr playin hughschoolers😅
They need to show the full clip of stab opening that shit looks ínstense and more interesting. It actually looks like she’s home alone scared and has no clue wtf is going on
I agree.
But the one thing Stab missed(which scream makers intentionally did 😅) was Cassey Becker's charisma. I think it was intentionally made to make the first victim a cliche horror trope, unlike the one in scream.
I agree. I wish stab in general was actually a real film, not a film within a film, as you stated it looks more intense and interesting.
In the first bit when Casey is getting killed the first stab you can see that the knife is like really fake because no blood was seen
DO SCARY MOVIE AND SCREAM SIDE BY SIDE FOR EACH RELEVANT SCENES PLEASEEE
Please Make Mortal Kombat (1995/2021)
It's sheriff judy who was in stab if no one notice
Please make lorax 1972-2012
I used to think ghostface had red ribbons in one scene in scream
I think that the events from stab 1 is based on the true story from scream 1 but in scream 2 and scream 1 are connected so basically stab 1 is telling the true story from scream 1 and scream 2 is part 2 of scream but different people and killer
Obviously
Scream Yell
Trop marrant ... tellement novateur pour l'époque et tellement copié depuis !

In scream 6 it was rumour that sid got pregnant with Billy child which she put her child up for adopted.I'd love to see Billy/ sid secret love child to follow in sid footsteps?
The first Stab movie was effing r*****ed (don't wanna get flagged by UA-cam algorithms). I get that it's a movie inside of a movie, which are usually pretty shit. But, who the hell sticks Jiffy Pop, which needs almost constant attention, on a stove unattended, and then goes and takes a shower?
Stab looks so much better than scream 🔪
