True. I forgot where I read it but i remember that it was stated somewhere that the names are for the flowers inside only. Other than that the color is relatively the same for all :)

+Elizabeth Ann no it doesn't. the color depends on how moist your lips are. the pigment in the lipstick is mainly red 27, which is clear when it's suspended in an oil medium (the lipstick), but turns red when it's dissolved in water (your lips). that's why the color is patchy depending on where her lips are dry.

Okay everyone saying she got scammed, you are wrong!! They are all the same color and they always will be ! They color that it says it will be is the color of the flower not the actual lipstick ! When it says it will be a color associated with the heat of your skin it means that all of them will be that same color because they are the same formula. I hope this helped anyone wanting to buy these lipsticks! Only buy one color so you don't waste your money

This is my favourite lipstick eveeeer and has used it for years. The colours changes depending on your lip temperature. So it becomes your unique colour. I recommend it!

What happens when you use the lipstick up and reach all the way down to the flower? Is there actually a fake flower set into it or is it just colored to look like a flower?
it's real flowers! I don't know what happens when you reach them though...
I'm curious about that as well. I'd guess you would have to get a new one or end up with flower bits on your lips

Just want to clarify the whole colour issue. All four are the same colour. The names such as flaming red, is not the colour of the lipstick, but rather the colour of the flower in the lipstick. it says so on their website.

+Hoanganh Ho she mistook the colour as the pigment of the lipstick when it actually refers to the colour of the flower. on other episodes, she peeled the egg white mask from the top when she should do it from the bottom, she also didnt even bother to cut the peel off eye shadow according to the shape of her eyes. just some examples for you to digest.

All the lipsticks are the same color. It reads in their website that the names of the lipsticks correspond to the color of the flower inside but they all swatch the same color that is pink.

I bought one from a chinese website. It was very cheap. I really do like it. It's from a different brand you have, but even though the moisture from the lipstick wears off after some time, the color does stay on. So I am pretty content with it :)
I think they deserved a 8-9 out of ten because the colors were all the same. otherwise they were super pretty

Honesly I think that's the whole point, the color I mean. It's supposed to react to your temperature. Most products that does have color change react this way anyway.

If they work the same way as the colour change lipsticks of thirty years ago then no two people will end up with the same colour as it depends on the acidity or oils in your skin and the way they react with the chemicals used in the lipstick (I asked a chemist at the time and she explained the way they worked). So you may turn them all pinks but someone else may end up with shades of orange or shades of red. I imagine the basic technology is little changed over the years, just refined.

I got it like 2 years ago in my local market for just 20 indian rupees ( 0.27 U.S dollars ) and it was not like, with a flower in it, or transport. It was in the colour or normal petroleum jelly. But it used to change the colour just like this one. And it was easy to carry anywhere. Actually this formula was there in our country since my mother was in college 😂.
