Yeah but the "essential" oil isn't really good since she used a heat oil that makes your house smell nice and warm but there were multiple warnings not to put on skin or anything since it can cause irritation and it is very dangerous when swallowed (every person tends to accidently lick or eat food with the worn lipstick)
Just putting this out there. the "essential oil" used in the video is not an essential oil. It is a highly fragranced warming oil. Intended for use to it an oil warmer to make your home or what not smell nice. There are multiple warning labels conveniently not shown in the video stating its harmful if swallowed. As well as warnings about possible skin irritation if not washed away after contact with skin.. Not something I want on my lips. If I were to attempt this diy I would definitely shell out the money for real rose essential oil, or a more affordable scent of essential oil. I actually own the said vintage rose oil, I originally purchased for its intended use. Please if you decided to try read all the warning labels to be sure it's safe!
It really looks nice :) but the vit.E alone won't act as an efficient preservative! Due to the contamination and the use of gelatin it must be stored in the fridge and used within 7days!
coconut oil is an antibacterial that renders most harmful bacteria inactive. Gelatin is used in many beauty products from haircare to skin care to investable nail and teeth care.
Couldn't agree more. A few things were done incorrectly. Not only is using silicone that is not body safe for the mold, letting it cure for only 24 hrs is not enough. The gelatine, because she hydrated it, is just asking for trouble (bacteria loves moist places) & the essential oil used, doesn't look like it was designed to be ingested... and because it's lipstick, it will be.
I couldn't agree more. So many things not safe about this lipstick. That isn't an essential oil it's a potpourri oil, The silicone for the mold is definitely not safe to be around anything that goes near your mouth, the coconut oil is fractioned cooking coconut oil so all the goodness of regular coconut oil has been stripped out of it and as you said vitamin E is not a preservative even though it does good things for the skin.
@@GoldenestLady It melted 😔, but it was pretty moisturizing, I might try using aloe Vera instead of the water so it is more stable 😁 idk if it expires quickly sry
this is the best diy yet that I've seen for this flower lipstick. I think its awesome. if you do your own cosmetics regularly you should have all the ingredients for it, and if your worried about the flower just look it up to make sure its safe to use first. this diy came out great. thank you so much!!!
I don't think this will really work, the amount of lipgloss used was tiny considering how big the batch was, the other added ingredients were also in tiny quantities, and the whole thing will just melt if left out of the fridge anyway, the same way jelly/jello does. That's why she didn't swatch it at the end.
I'm confused :S ...I thought cos the title said colour changing I thought you were showing how to make those lipsticks that change colour once applied :(
you do realise that silicon is not safe for your face right? if you using silicon use food grade ones the one you used is toxic and only used for sealing bathroom and leaks . also how the hell you use edible gelatin in a lipstick and try to use it on your lip? it doesn't make sense at all
No, hon. The lipstick touched the toxic silicone. It's the same logic as using poop for a mold. Although you only used it for a mold, it still touched the poop.
That's pretty neat! I haven't seen the silicone/cornstarch trick. How does that compare to molding putty? I'm assuming cheaper but what about drying time?
the real lipstick is worth it, the ingredients does not include gelatin(which is made of dead animals bones) and is 100%. definitely buy you're Eos too
+Creative World thanks for replying your my faviorite youtuber can you please subscribe to mine and my best friends new UA-cam channel we would appreciate it a lox 😄👍
Ugh I'm muslim and all these tutorials I've seen on UA-cam contain the use of gelatin and muslims can't eat that/use that so any substitution I can use for the gelatin?
I cannot say whether it would work for lipstick, but Agar Agar is a plant derived substance that may be used in place of gelatin. Double check to make sure it is compatible with what you want to use it for. Good luck!
Fun as "see if i can do it" -project, but you do not have any preservative (the Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant, which is not a preservative) for the water, which means this will go bad within just a few days...not to mention the random flower you got.
It got popular for a few reasons 1. It's a clear lipstick 2. It has a flower in it 3. It changes color. Which is really cool because it's clear but comes out a vibrant color
I don't think that using the silicone was a good idea as silicone has toxic chemicals in it. It could contaminate the lip products even if it just comes in contact with them.
But what is the name of the components that makes the mood lipsbalm change, i need some one who really knows how to do this from scratch please!!!!! I don’t want to buy someone lipgloss and drop it there tho.
Don't use this if you make it. No preservative for a start which is a no no. The fragrance oil and used is not skin safe but even if it was you don't use fragrances in lip products you use flavour oil!
Who else thought she was making the product with silicone? :-P
omg ME Lol
Me 😂😂
Me!
I know! I was like "Ummm.......Ohhhhhhhh!" 😂😂😂
Me😂
This is the first video I've ever seen for a DIY Kailijumei lipstick that actually attempts to recreate it as a USABLE lipstick. Props to you!

BHM Productions y es me too
Me too! I saw one with some girl using gummy bears

I thought so!
she also used cooking coconut oil instead of the actual stuff
+Emily Preston it's the same
Thank goodness someone else also saw that and said something, lol
@@bergenswald It isn't cooking cocnut oil has other added ingredients, when normal coconut does not.
How does it look like on your lips tho?
i think it looks like nothing, because there is no colour in it.
+Samantha Hetter the moodgloss changes color
+Vivian the Terrarian Mage this isnt mood gloss.
rewatch the tutorial, THERE IS mood gloss. She added it when adding bees wax and the oils
Oh let's see how to make this lipstick!:
-Cornstarch
-fine
-silicone
-i'm watching the wrong tutorial...
Did you see all the video? It's just a mode for lipstick
Min Ánh yes I saw it lol,but this is what I thought at first lol
i thought the same hahahah
Haha.. That's why we shouldn't judge the video at the first 30 seconds :)
I think you missed the point. How many of us have silicone at home to melt down for a simple DIY? Not too many average Joes do.
SWATCHES OF RESULTS??
Yeah I was hoping she would swatch them too :(
she should of done that, who knows if it actually works..
+Heidi Lin hope 2!
+Akay Mo RIGHT,that am talkin'about!
It really looks nice :) but the vit.E alone won't act as an efficient preservative! Due to the contamination and the use of gelatin it must be stored in the fridge and used within 7days!

+Red Squirrel hi! I don't agree with your affirmations but everyone is free to do what they want so.. peace! :)

Introducing those flowers alone brings in more bacteria a preservative is needed
I was so mesmerized by this entire video, LOL!
I did this and it was so fun!
Was it moisturizing? And did it expire quickly? Thanks
@@GoldenestLady

This is the most beautiful DIY i've ever seen!!!! 😍😍
1/2 c water, 25g gelatin, locust bean gum,beeswax, vitamin e, flavor, versagel
cool! can you actually wear them and does the color show up on your lip?
Wow beautiful
out of all the tutorials, this was the best one!

That's not how that works. That's not how any of this works.
+Lauren Me omg the comercial 😂😂😂
Really good! This deserves more attention!

Can you use agar-agar instead of gelatin for a more vegan approach??
you do realise that silicon is not safe for your face right? if you using silicon use food grade ones the one you used is toxic and only used for sealing bathroom and leaks . also how the hell you use edible gelatin in a lipstick and try to use it on your lip? it doesn't make sense at all
She used it as a mold for the lipstick. It should be fine
No, hon. The lipstick touched the toxic silicone. It's the same logic as using poop for a mold. Although you only used it for a mold, it still touched the poop.
that oil is for oil burners only. on the bottle it says to not let it touch you skin and that it will poison you
Use agar agar extract of caragean (I don't think I spelled that right XD) for all those vegetarians/pescatarians/vegans out there! ♡
I read some of the comments, and many said gelatin is kinda gross, so can we use agar instead?
That's pretty neat! I haven't seen the silicone/cornstarch trick. How does that compare to molding putty? I'm assuming cheaper but what about drying time?
doesnt this have to be kept in a fridge
Omg so cute!!! and your so pretty!!! I love your new photo you look amazing and your vids are amazing!!
First in the youtube 😅
that is really too good creative and super awesome
Woah 😨 that’s so cool and pretty
Woah so pretty
I love the last one so cute 😃
its the best video about that topic i have sawn
Wow what a great video, thank you!
Is it okay to use the dried flower instead of the fresh one?🙂
I love this channel so much!
the real lipstick is worth it, the ingredients does not include gelatin(which is made of dead animals bones) and is 100%. definitely buy you're Eos too
*100% natural
pig fat* get your facts straight
+Kristell E. what are you referring to exactly!!???
+lucky gelatin is made of pig fat
+Kristell E. Google it!?! it's made of proteins obtained from skin, ligament and bones
I like your knew profile pic
Thanks!
+Creative World thanks for replying your my faviorite youtuber can you please subscribe to mine and my best friends new UA-cam channel we would appreciate it a lox 😄👍
+Creative World yes it looks lovely
creative world is so amazing
Isn't the flower going to rot? I mean, it seems like vegtables in jelly. I would use dried flowers like they do in the original.
I just saw that and cringed rotten flower jelly with oil that’s for your wax warmers 😬
Was it the Mood Gloss that makes it change color
substitute for cornstarch??
Great vid! could you do more 3d pen tutorials?!?
FOB ❤
Kaitlyn Grassi-Kaplan YASS!!
Wow Ty perfect for my daughter and I to make together this weekend!
cool diy great job
Nice ☺
good attempt!
Do u need the gum stuff
Wow very good
this is really cool
do u need the locus gum?

Okay, thanks so much!
Cheerlover_2015 i'm a Muslim too and i am planning to make some using Agar Agar. Will let you know if it works! ☺️
Alice .C okay thanks! 😊
There is Halal Gelatin too, though you would have to go to a desi store for that I'm pretty sure TT
This is amazing!!!
what is your solfware edit video please ? and good jobs

Awesome this is so cool
love the video
Wait does it work as lipstick
are the flowers non-poisonous?
wow looks great !
it's supeeeer!!! hello from ukraine
Are we allowed to used that?I mean it's because of the flower, it might be harmful...
just make sure the flower isnt poisonous.
lmaO
Where to get the packaging for the second lipstick?
does this rlly work?
what did she put in for the color
Is it possible for you to provide the measurements of ingredients?
Have someone tried that
Yes, but I think I did something wrong because the beeswax just became a hard film on top of the lipstick 😭
I don't really get the jelly flower lipstick trend but this is cool.
It got popular for a few reasons
1. It's a clear lipstick
2. It has a flower in it
3. It changes color. Which is really cool because it's clear but comes out a vibrant color
+lucky I have one. it changes from a light pink to a dark pink. pretty sure there are some that actually change color and not shades
Omg love this!
This is so pretty
I don't think that using the silicone was a good idea as silicone has toxic chemicals in it. It could contaminate the lip products even if it just comes in contact with them.
Does it work??
Mood gloss or just lip gloss
Mood gloss so it changes color when you wear it. (The color of the lipstick/gloss depends on your body heat)
That's awesome!
You can also use clear gummy bears, the Pineapple ones. Then you can use a edible flower!
So many ingredients and not easy to make at home!
where u got mood lipgloss?
But what is the name of the components that makes the mood lipsbalm change, i need some one who really knows how to do this from scratch please!!!!! I don’t want to buy someone lipgloss and drop it there tho.
now the real question is, does it work?
How did you learn to make this? :D
what did you add for color
The mood lipgloss. The color depends on your body heat but the color while it's in the tube just depends on the color of mood gloss you use.
Please tell us that how will we make flower jelly lipstick with Indian products
that doesn't look sturdy it. looks like it will break if u applied with even just slight force
So cool.
nice!!
Can you make color changing edible jelly lipstick? pls.....
Were can I get a mood gloss
I got it from TJ Max
LA Colors has a super cheap one that you can get from Dollar General
+Creative World is that just tkmax
So awesome
can u apply on ur lips pls?
I wanted to see swatches :(
So cute
But do they work???
can u tellme the ingredients? please
me i thought she was making the product with silicone and i was like what? you can't do that!
Product is good but you must show the demo of it... or else how can we know how it works
Don't use this if you make it. No preservative for a start which is a no no. The fragrance oil and used is not skin safe but even if it was you don't use fragrances in lip products you use flavour oil!
cool super
super
no swatches???
love this
but i wanna see what it looks like on skin
This is not magic anymore because it has been added water to the mixture
