I have a 2007 z06 with a vortech making 870rwhp that has built internals and also a 2010 zr1 making 800rwhp.
I think you have multiple options with the car. You could sell the engine that’s in it for a decent price and buy another thats built around the pro charger build for more power.

I think NA is your best bet man. Sell the kit for whatever you can to help with your current bill at the shop, rock the car stock for a bit (don’t make a crazy NA build, it’s a good car as is and you won’t get many more views from it) and when you’re done enjoying it a bit sell it. Corvettes are either a car you keep for life or a car you enjoy for a couple months and let the next man do the same. As a UA-cam I think you should do the latter. Just my .02. Cheers man

Why is it 7-8k in labor to throw in a pro charger kit and flex fuel? Somethings not right there. Also you want to use a&a bracket and probably go direct drive and go at least 8 rib belt set up for centri blowers like the pro charger or you’ll be running into a lot of belt slip issues with that much power.
Like you said keeping it NA in the ls7 is where it’s at. With the light weight chassis and long gears in the z06 even NA will smoke plenty of cars with 1-200 more hp. It ain’t cheap building a c6 to make 1000hp and keeping it there. Good luck with this build wish you the best.

Na z06 or sell it and buy a c6 grandsport that can handle boost because of the 6.2 in it. Also manual grandsports have a hand built dry oil sump engine.
