Danger sense only picks up malicious intent towards the user. Last season, class 1-A was "attacking" Deku with the intent to save/help him, so there was Danger sense didn't go off. Same thing here with Toga. She attacks out of affection.

Yeah Toga’s story is so tragic, makes you reflect on her more than the surface level “shes just evil” type of thing.
It didn’t click for me until we got her more detailed backstory later.
Toga is actually kinda tragic. It's not her fault she was born like that. It's like a psychopath not really having a choice to be born a psychopath.
Toga is the best written character. Young fans thinks she’s crazy but she’s a real example of people with tragic life’s
Best written is kind of a stretch (I'd argue that spot goes to Endeavor). She can certainly be both crazy and have a tragic life. But I think the reason Toga frustrates people is because she acts like a victim while also not wanting to face the consequences of literally stabbing/killing people. The moment someone tells her she can't just do that, then she snaps

I see her nature as any other real dangerous mental conditions. Schizophrenia for one can be completely socially functional. The big thing with Toga was that she couldn’t find a person to talk to until she met Magne and Jin. If her parents, school, friends handled her better then she could have been not turned villain.
I mean they straight up said that she feels affection from hurting people so to me it seems like she's just born a psychopath and just doesn't fit into society. She was a misfit way before she met the league of villains
Look up what wearing all white means in Japan and then you'll understand why Dabi pulled up in his fit specifically.
Toga is an extremely tragic character. A persons quirk influences them in varuous ways. And she wasnt given proper support nor love to help her with hers and how it influenced her. Bottling everything up till she snapped. And now stuck in a world that rejects her and how she is. Shes not lesser than anyone else, nor is she not worth saving as you would others. But for her seeing her affection rejected by those she is in love with just reconfirms that this world wouldnt ever accept her nor consider her apart of it

She is not remorseful for the people she kills. A person's quirk influences one's character. That's the same with bakugo too 💀 yet he doesn't cross the line cuz he knows he can't be a hero like allmight if he did and somehow mha fans don't see this but cry for toga 💀(only mha fans can do this). Toga is just a whinny brat who loves to blame society for everything and doesn't feel anything bout the people she kills. She ain't tragic but she also not fully responsible. So in a way it's fair.
If you want to see actually tragic character, then read the mha side mission manga. A guy with poison quirk has to release his poison gas to feel relieved. Which causes people to faint. Yet he knows he is doing wrong things and want to be saved. He is remorseful. Later deku and bakugo saves him. He does gets few months in jail but his situation is explained. Now this guy is an actual tragic character. A good guy in jail cuz of his quirk.

@@denji3397me when i have no media literacy don’t compare bakugos emotions to himkos there quirks are completely differnt… his parents had his best interest at heart himikos parents treated her like shit… how she supposed to know hurting people isn’t what she should do when nobody taught her that. Dekus quirk literally doesn’t sense danger because she doesn’t even hurt people maliciously, yes she killed people and should be punished she is very tragic period

@@denji3397u expect too much from someone who was thaught nothing. U expect her to feel remorse and take responsability for her problems , but she was never thaught that. Very few people with problems caused by their very nature would learn to cope with their feelings by themselves. Even bakugo had lots of problems with his atitude , despite his quirk not causing psyhological abnormalities and despite having a loving family. Not everyone is a genius , the real tragedy is that she just cant deal with her problems on her own.
Deku gets girls fighting over him while Todoroki has to kill his own brother. That’s a pretty unfair trade if you ask me.
You really need to take it back. Seasons 1 & 2 were enough to convince you of how the turn tables.....

In regards to danger sense, yes malicious intent has to be present. If you recall, when Dekus friends try to bring him back when he was kinda coo coo, Deku noticed his danger sense never once triggered when his classmates were attacking him. That is because they all truly wanted to help him, even if its by force. It does make me wonder if the danger sense would activate during a friendly competition though, like at the sports festival tournament.
They gotta hit Toga with one of those quirk-destroying bullets that Overhaul made or some ish, maybe that'd fix her ass.
*Out if everything I expected, Toga confessing her love was definitely not one of them. I guess it makes sense for her, but it definitely caught me off guard. I still hope that she can be saved, her story is a sad one.*

what Shigaraki is talking about is the quirk singularity theory, which basically states that quirks continue to grow strong, and that soon they will destroy society, imagine how strong quirks will be in a hundred years, like, everyone will be Bakugo or Todoroki level, imagine in 200 years? A billion Shigaraki's, but another point of the singularity theory is that humanity will evolve and grow into new forms so their bodies can handle the quirks, this is what is happening to Shigaraki, basically, even at 100% completion, nearly as strong as prime All Might, Shigaraki's body can't handle his power

Man…. Toga being born with that quirk really ruined her life😞 I wonder what she was like at 4 and under before she got her quirk. Life was not fair to her. She was doomed day one.
Keep in mind Toga wasn't entirely born like this. As a child, she just had a fixation with blood that any therapy worth its salt would have helped overcome, let alone figuring out her Quirk earlier. Instead, her Quirk Counselor told her to repress her feelings and never talk about them, let them out, just go full cold turkey, while her parents never supported her special needs. So eventually she saw a bloody fight and snapped.
She could have been helped, but society and her family both failed her.

I love Toga. I love yandere/crazy characters in anime. Like the way they think and all is different, it just so interesting to me. And I mean with her quirk, she was ostracised from the beginning, so no one..could really be her friend and understand her then it just spiral down on the blood sucking cause that's all she knows to do in life

I see "quirks" as their users' individualities, as characteristics that make them who they are and Himiko is a girl who was forced to repress this characteristic since she was a child, who was treated like a monster for being born with this characteristic, the only ones to Accepting her and this characteristic of hers were those who were in the same place as her, who always saw her as an equal.
I believe that if her parents had accepted her as she is and tried to take care of her in a way that controlled her quirk instead of completely repressing it, she would be a different person, because this is a Himiko Toga raised by the way her parents treated her quirk, who repressed his feelings to the point that they became a bomb and exploded in the worst way. In S5 the reporter she kills manages to turn others into bombs, and this was the arc where she released her quirk/feelings completely by accepting herself.
Something just hit me, the reason Dabi loses might be because of his own power and not Shoto or anybody else, Dabi might just end up burning himself to ashes

Wait, couldn't they just use the bullets that removes quirks on Toga and problem solved?
She can just wait till Kurogiri sends a gate to her place to help her escape the heroes and out of the island, then she can use her presence-erasing skill to hide if she don't want to fight. Remember that even without the quirk, she is still hella strong considering her combat ability and those complex techniques, so fighting 1vs4 with the Ochako's team after losing her quirk won't be tricky that much. And let's question if Ochako's team can apply those bullets to her.
