    i am proud to say i met both these amazing individuals in my younger year i was 14 when i met michael jackson at the meet and greet at virgin mega store in time square i almost didnt go because i lived in cali and it was right after 9/11 and my parents were very skeptical about flying. and i met j.dilla and madlib at a record shop in la called fatbeats talk about humble both these men changed music and i am with great sadness that they are no longer with us but lets keep there legacy alive R.I.P

    Agreed, dilla is the greatest producer in hip hop history! No doubt for a second, anyone who disagree's is tone deaf.

    @ThELaStSoNxx not to mention, he had such range that even when he switched his style up, he did so at an effortlessly high level. While many producers tend to sound the same over the years, he kept flipping the script, yet you can still tell that it was him. I think part of the "hype" comes from the fact he's no longer with us, but his body of work speaks for itself. I'm sure anyone with an open ear can find something from him that they can appreciate. And that's all I have to say about that!

    @ThELaStSoNxx I can only speak for myself...I followed Dilla's music back when he was Jay Dee and witnessed the progress he made over the span of his career. His music resonates with me in a way that very few artists have before him or after he passed. If you don't get the "hype", it just may not be your thing, not all music is for everyone. For me, it was his ear for melodies, his drums were ALWAYS on point, and as a beat maker myself, I appreciated his sampling "wizardry".(cont.)

    and first off he wasnt creepy at all just misunderstood
    by people like you im sure that rely's anythinq the Media has to say
    against MJ . People that ACTUALLY known him have nothinq
    but GOOD things to say about him.

    he made too much money BUT HE Worked FOR It

    MJ wasnt arrogant or greedy with his money .

    hell, he's worked for it but he also gave BACK to the world as well
    hes in the guiness book of world records as the most Money given to charity by a FAMOUS person,
    he's helped more Poor people then Oprah

    miss dilla more than jacko...dilla= a unique genius,very underrated producer, maybe the most underrated in the hip hop history...jacko= a great artist which made too much money, but a shady person

    im italian btw, the Oprah situation is totally american and I really dont think its a good example...
    im talkin bout the art and the money those artits made with their art...i dont even get why oprah is so freakin rich actually, the television she makes is straight trash...i respect mj, i just think he is a lil bit overrated as a singer
