FlightSimExpo is one of the world’s largest dedicated flight simulation conventions. The event has welcomed more than 5,000 attendees to events in Las Vegas, Orlando, San Diego, and Houston since 2018. We’re excited to once again connect simmers, developers, exhibitors, and real-world aviators in Las Vegas and online June 21-23, 2024.
THE 2024 EVENT AT A GLANCE:
Friday, June 21 is the day for the biggest seminars and product reveals, featuring announcements from flight simulation’s biggest developers, plus an evening welcome social. Note there is no exhibit hall access on Friday.
Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 feature a 40,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall with hands-on experiences that show off the latest in flight simulation software and hardware. Speaker rooms will feature how-to seminars on various flight simulation topics.
Online-Only Registration will also be available to watch livestreams of the presentations and announcements from anywhere in the world.

Drew "Bel Geode" Bolton has been a flight simulation enthusiast since 1986 and has been an active member of the community since 2005. A former virtual airline CEO, Bel has embraced many aspects of flight simulation, and understands how to connect with the community at large, through his UA-cam channel, and various collaborations with fellow simmers. I don't catch every episode, but I'm always glad when I do. You all bring unique opinions, experiences, and expertise, but above all, I appreciate your consistent message that there is room in the sim community for everyone. I read so much about how supporting one part of the audience is "ruining" it for another part, and I just find that mindset so sad.
About Aerosoft : They talked about the A330 saying that there will be "a 2024 release, then a 2020 later", which makes me think about "the announced reverse compatibility of all our planes" with the next MSFs version...
And yeah since the Twotter mess up, I have an eye on them, but they didn't deliver so far.
Hello grumpy trio!
I would love you to ask Jorg these 3 things that i think need lots of improvement in fs2020:
1) the weathervaning is over exaggerated, specially on the water, is impossible to turn the icon with water rudders down in a 5kt wind.
2) control sensitivity and resolution with our peripheral axis and trimming needs a lot of improvement.
3) peripheral profiles ( but i think they already addressing this in fs2024)
First! This should be good
Picking up on the hopes for an easy to use and flexible Mission Editor my strong suspicion is that so far MS/Asobo are just planning on using the existing editor although perhaps with a few tweaks. You only have to look at what they did, or didn't, in terms of a replay tool. Even if they are persuaded to come up with a decent editor it's as virtual certainty it won't be in place for the initial release and most probably at least six months after release.
People also need to realize that MS is not talking about missions but CAREERS!
I will be able to ask about the mission editor in person at FSExpo
You guys should tell them to have FSEconomy into account to improve the career mod (the way jobs are created, having an aircraft market, owning FOB at the airports etc). Of course not 1 to 1, but some of the FSEconomy features are great, their persistent world works great.
I have a couple of questions about fs2020
1:for as long the sim have been released, the landinggears of ai and multiplayer aircraft have very low drawdistance, it looks like planes are landing with gears retracted. Even when object lod is on 200. Will they ever adress this? As it ruins the imersion with ai aircrafts.
2: Will there be any updates to VR, still alot of things that need fixing, like the handcontrollers, the toolbar in external and droneview not visible, alot of times when loading new flight the "start" button is not there so you need to restart for it to appear, and it still is a problem that the sim dont remember resizing window size.
Who's PC? IM not PC. where did that come from? Hehe. Drew rubbed off on me. Seb states VR in 2024 is incredible. Ummm what exactly is new that makes it incredible?
I don't think //42 has done any work on 2024. the effects in the trailer looked native and some were shown in the first trailer.
How about talking Xplane for a change, so sick of MSFS
