Hello Dr. I am 28 and I have genetic festoons. I’ve had them since I was a child and I didn’t realize I could fix them until now. I feel old and I’ve even tried dermal fillers to help. How much is the laser treatment at your office. I may fly down to Virginia. I’m willing to try anything at this point. Or Is there a doctor in San Diego you could recommend? I ended up getting 0.5mm of filler on each side of my face in order to life up the festoon to minimise the appearance. 0.5mm is minimal and hardly noticeable. This worked a treat as it lifted and blended the festoon into my skin, minimising the appearance of it. The only problem is that filler only lasts a certain number of months depending on the brand used...... Despite this, I was very happy with the results and have been doing it since then with a professional.

Hi, I did a lower Trans-conjunctival blepharoplasty with skin pinch. However, it created me to have malar Oedema and festoons. They did co2 on me the same day as surgery. However I still have this and they have tried Morpheus 8 as well. Im wondering how come this was created? Could it be because they left skin behind as I noticed I have loose skin under eyes. Also, would Ebrium laser do the same. Thank you for your time

That can happen, and take months to resolve but I have never seen it permanent.

Can't answer without seeing them. Laser takes about 10 days of recovery but pinkness can persist longer.

Thanks for watching. Most people don't get festoons, some of it is heredity I believe. Good skin care always helps wrinkles.

Not sure what you mean by specifications. We generally use 18-20 setting which I think is Joules/cm2 but I have to look to be sure.

Yes, the laser does get rid of the skin excess, it burns away the wrinkles and makes new tighter skin.
