I love this stuff! I’ve used it for the last 5 years. I just turned 30 and I get so many complements on my skin and everyone thinks I’m 22. This stuff is amazing!!!
This is hands down my favorite serum of all time! I used to work for Estée Lauder and there’s a reason that this is the #1 selling serum... not only does it have amazing long term benefits but you can see a difference right after applying this... for the most part the only people that had problems with this serum are people that switch between products a lot, use too much or people who have extremely sensitive skin.... In my experience anyway. It comes in 3 (main) sizes....1 oz 1.7 oz and 3.4oz then they have minis
completely agree ---> "not only does it have amazing long term benefits but you can see a difference right after applying this...". and it absorbs beautifully :-)
I purchased this serum after reading the promises of delivery. Been using it religiously after my RetinA every night, followed by night cream. This was a switch from using Hylouronic acid and I have to say I cannot tell the difference in my skin. Like both, but the Estee Lauder serum is a lot more expensive. Thinking I"ll go back to my hyloronic serum after I finish EL.
It's so disappointing when companies charge this much for products that are just "okay." I'm thinking your skin will probably be just as happy when you go back to your HA serum, especially when you're using Retin-A. Retin-A is such an amazing anti-aging (and anti-acne) product and it might be all your skin really needs.
Great vids! I noticed you mentioned you layer with your retinol??? I always just do it alone because I don’t know what goes well with it? Could you tell me what can be layered with retinol and what I should stay away? Thanks!
Key word: NIGHT. i personally only use overnite. Should not really be used w anything else. I have sensitive skin, and it is strong. I notice if i try to use it nightly, it does have an adverse effect. So, i use it "periodically". Bottom line.. there is some magic in this stuff and it has rated tops for years. Also! You dont need alot per use, worth the $ cause it lasts! TY.
I like using this before bed as well, it's rather Hydrating and it soaks in while I sleep. It's been around for a while and I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon.
I have had samples of that serum several times, but never did much for me. Sara, can I ask you about the Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask. I got a sample from Sephora and I just love it, but I prefer to have your stamp of approval before I purchase full size !
I’ve been using that mask off and on. There is a lot that I like about this mask: price for three ounces is a good deal, tube packaging is great, AHA’s and BHA’s do a nice job Exfoliating, contains ingredients that will absorb oil, includes some nice beneficial ingredients like algae, green tea, avocado, and I like that this leaves my skin feeling soft but not dry. The only thing I don’t like is that it includes peppermint, but that ingredient is over halfway down the list and since it’s a rinse off product it isn’t as big of a deal as it would be if it were a leave on product. Overall, I’d say go for it! My dogs always freak out when they see me with a green face which makes it extra fun! 😀😀😘😘
i already used inkey list retinol that contained squalane , my skin broke out like crazy . now i wanna buy this but it also contain squalane so I'm afraid of buying this . 😭😭😭
Squalane is interesting- I've used a few squalane heavy products and they also made my skin break out- squalane oil is something I will never use. But for most products that only contain a small amount my skin is just fine with it. Go figure. It is pretty far down the list of the ANR so might be worth trying to get a little sample if possible.
Can u plz recommend me a good face serum at sephora i bought the first aid beauty one u recommended but i want a good all in one that does anti age ing n alot can u plz point me in the right direction
@@meganng6615 I've been looking for years. There isn't one in all, that really does what it says. I've been doing vitamin c and I just started a rentiol. So working that In. I just use what my face is needing that day.
I have tried this a couple years back someone actually gifted me the 1.7 fluid ounce bottle I am acne-prone but I honestly don't remember me breaking out or it caused any sporadic breakouts but then again I can't say 100% it didn't I can't remember back that far to be honest ........lol..... I do remember I really enjoyed it though i especially loved it around my eye area and wear crow's-feet our apparent and it really did hydrate my skin I remember using it before I would do my makeup on occasion for prep but this is so expensive please do some comparison videos or dupe videos with this would be amazing or skin care products that are more well suited for acne-prone please 💚💙💗💜💛
Definitely will do! I do think it's decent, probably better fit for someone in their early 20's just looking for an overall serum but not in need of much anti aging ingredients.
Very helpful review thanks,i was seriously considering trying this to mix it in with my clinique routine, that is the only skincare ever to suit my skin, and actually give me a glow. I have heard so many wonderful things about this product, but i to was wondering if it may cause me problems having combination skin,i can not stand anything slightly greasy on my face. Then the deal breaker of course was when you said they still test on animals, disgusting,i can not believe the stuff is so popular knowing this, people really do not give a shit,do they? They should have drops of the liquid put in their eyes,to test,if they want to use it that badly, not sure they know what rabbits etc go through.Anyway thanks again, estee lauder can stick their crap!!!
This one helped me even when I had very oily (and occasional acne) skin. I used only at night though. I still woke up with same shiny face but calmer/brighter skin.
I think many companies use it as a preservative or to help the serums dry or "set" faster. It's a bummer though because many people can't handle denatured alcohols well.
I bought the serum from an outlet store like the one you mentioned twice , and I used to buy it from Sephora and used a lot of amples . I can assure you it is not the same quality at all . the texture is more liquid , the sent is stronger like there is alcohol and it did nothing to my skin . disappointed in this brand
Another fabulous review. Thanks Sarah! I really agree with your score which is why I feel I’ve held out purchasing this item. It’s good but not spectacularly great. I’ve seen fabulous results with the Dr Dennis Gross C and Retinol serums and the dispensing mechanic is air proof to avoid the degradation of ingredients. I’m a bit of a serum junkie, so I look forward to seeing others you recommend in the future. Enjoy the rest of your weekend :) x
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I really like the Dennis gross Serum, I need to review it. For the price of the EL Still l serum I just expect a little more than what this offered. This definitely won't do anything bad (except for acne) but probably can't deliver the amazing results they claim it can.
I’ve never really cared for this serum. I didn’t see where it did anything. As far as results, the Lancôme Genefique gave me much better results but I don’t like that it has alcohol.
I was just looking through my skincare products and I set the lancome genetrifique aside so I can review it soon, there’s a lot I like about it. I think lancome even made a version recently for sensitive skin.
Yes, you can definitely use this before or after, if your Retinol is cream based I'd use it after. If the Retinol is serum based I'd recommend using it before the EL Serum.
Uhh who are u .. estee lauder and clinique are both determologist tested and eye doctor approved and yes theres paperwork to back up proof on that thanks
Dermatologist tested means nothing, you should do some reading up on marketing tactics because that's all it is. I just don't want people falling for marketing and too become educated consumers.

Is this product comparable to Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum?
Could you possibly review some of the Peach & Lily line? Some of the products look like a hit or miss but I'd love to hear your opinion!
Definitely will do some items from this brand! 😁😘
Thank you!
i've bought this serum several times and it's never done anything for me.
I agree with you, some people just swear by it but I could take or leave it.
I wear it only at night not under the Make-up

How about telling us if it works? What exactly does it do? "It's decent, it's good" is quite vague.
I appreciate your candor.
Thanks for letting me know

Do you have a review for C.E.O. Sunday Riley, rapid flash brightening serum?
It smells like paint thinner... but it’s seems to be making my skin smooth!
I love this serum. Nothing compres 👍

Looks like you’ll have to change your entire routine then since Clinique is owned by Estee Lauder.
Whats the number one best saleing serum? Do u know? I been likeing this n the lancome youth serum but can't pick one lol
Did you ever decide? Because I'm going through the same dilemma.
Hola I got the estee Lauder eye cream it's not that bad I like it thank you so much for sharing besos from Puerto Rico 👍👍💕💕
I love your honestly review, actually I have got very oily skin, so I decide not to buy this.

@@jennifers.1081 thanks a lot for sharing your experience.
Can it be used by feeding mothers
Because of the caffeine in it I am not certain, I think would check with your family physician just to be extra safe.

Why do serums contain alcohol
I think many companies use it as a preservative or to help the serums dry or "set" faster. It's a bummer though because many people can't handle denatured alcohols well.
I think this serum is more for dry skin. I have oily skin tried it and it didn’t really do much for me. I don’t think it’s worth the price...
They definitely over-charge for this product (like Estee Lauder tends to do with many of their products).
I think it's very fragrant... it smells like all of the other EL products to me.
Is this good for teenagers I'm your new subscriber from India ??
Yes
