I unearthed the files by following the instructions on this video but some of the folders disappeared and files such as subtitles and word documents appear as 0KB so I cannot open them. I really need help retrieving everything. Is there anything I can still do?
Don’t ever touch the notif that appears whenever you connect your HDD to your laptop/PC that says “Local Disk (Letter:) There’s a problem with this device. Scan the drive now and fix it.” If you click that, it will cause you much more problems than just by ignoring it. 😒

i have two Kingston SSD disks, both are same size, both bought at the same time and same store. i was using only one of them in my PC and the other one in my NVR. the one in the NVR probably got damaged so i tried plugging it in my PC to see if i can recover the data. i put it in the place of the one that i was using in my PC. the disk got recognized but i couldnt open it, so i thought i will format it so that i can try at least fixing it to use it in the NVR again. once i hit format, my PC got stuck, i unplug the NVR SSD and plug back the one i was using in my PC. when i forcefully restarted my PC, the SSD that was in my PC before had no data at all but showed the correct space used as when the data was there. thankfully using the "chkdsk" command, my files were showing again.

Incase dis doesn't work for U
Search "*" in Ur harddrive, if Ur files appear
Den open CMD
Type "c:" (or whatever the name of Ur harddrive is)
Den type "attrib -s -h *.* /s /d"
