I can understand condos being able to be owned by non Thais, but if non Thais are permitted to buy houses and or land, as you stated it will push the prices up and become unaffordable for Thai people. Which you also stated has happened in so many other countries. Enjoyed the family day out as ever
I did my first trip to Pattaya in April ! Met a really cool bloke and his missus. I don’t think the missus liked me too much but the bloke did and things got hectic ! Have you met anyone like this before, Sam ?! 🤣🤣🤘🏼
Brilliant mate, well put together. Does Lele only manage that one condo of your mates, or does she a load to look after. Reason i ask is im looking long term as from Dec/Jan. Looking forward to part II
800 baht is like $25??Your delivery is great in these videos its like the guy that use to do life styles of the rich and famous, great pitch and tone and editing.
Yeah, I was at one with CB Media at Xmas. Asked the owner what he had, and he said it was best if I just walked up to the Burger Street vendor and got one. Came back and ate it with more beer. I don't think they make any money on the food...
Nice tip toe around any seemingly negative comments...good to try to honestly align expectations while not creating any liabilities for yourself. I will say however, that I find some of the NQR (not quite right) part of the allure. Fortunately, Ive been blessed with the means so that when I get a 60baht ($1.65) entree that's not perfect...I just let that go. Just have to embrace mai pen lai.
Bring two phones, two debit cards and some cash, dont bring more than you can fit in a carryon. I myself prefer to stay in BKK around the soi 11 area. I have stayed at probably 7 5 stars on suhkumvit rd. I prefer sofitel..its a little pricey.
When I watched the video I thought it was filmed at the French Riviera or something 🤣 I reckon your summary is a little too much on the positive side and doesn't represent the reality of Pattaya. The questions I'd like to know are: 1) Is it even safe to swim in the sea in Pattaya? 2) What about all the chaos, noise, rubbish and construction all over the place? 3) Is it even legal to rent short-term condos through AirBnb in Thailand? etc
1) Yes, that is completely safe. 2) Some areas have a bit noise, especially during constructions. And some are more busy than others. But that is to live with. If you want it more peaceful, you must choose a more quiet place. Lots of them i Pattaya and Jomtien. Don`t understand what you mean with chaos and rubbish. It`s not more rubbish than in other comparable places in Thailand. 3) Yes, Airbnb is perfectly legal from one month and upwards. But you must pay for a minimum of one month. The reality of Pattaya is that the city, with surrounding areas, is very diverse, and you will find a suitable place for your lifestyle. Pattaya is a lot more than it`s reputation, it has a lot more to offer.
Those were fake monks Sammy. Real monks aren't allowed to ask for or accept money. It's a well known scam. Super rich and adjoing companies in airport basement. Best exchange rates in thailand.

What I found interesting was the bars didn't seem to mind if i bought food from a street vendor, even if the bar sells food.

I'm curious. A person spend money to fly to Thailand, and take a bus to pattaya? I'm coming in january. Booked a private car for about $30 usd.
$30 sounds like a great price!! :)
My first time was 30 years ago
Boiy has it changed
