Thank you. This was not at all boring. When my door comes next week, I feel ready to put it together confidently. Nice little coop. Did you design it yourself or was it a kit?

My thoughts on these type of doors is that it would be best to use the timer option rather than the light option because if there was any kind of light such as high beams from a car or a flashlight from a neighbor that the door would open at night and would allow predators to enter. It happened on the 'el cheapo' ones that I purchased (2 for $46 on Amazon). Just a thought.

Great detail showing how it's made. I note this video was nearly 2 years ago, how is it working for you currently? Still like it? Thank you!

Very helpful and great gadget. I believe you can fit it inside or outside, and it opens left or right. Well thought out. Also it operates on daylight, or time, so again very versatile. Your review very well done.

Great video showing the unboxing, assembling, and installing the coop door. Btw, I love your coop. Did you build that yourself or was it a kit? Thanks sir.

Very helpful except I wanted to see the installation. I wish they would have a sale.

Can we hook it up to power if we dont want to use batteries? It gets below freezing sometimes so I worry the batteries would fail in such cold weather.

That seems like a pretty small opening! Isn't it recommending to be 12in wide and 14in tall? I have seen some small round openings, specifically so bigger ones (e.g ducks) can't get in.

Nice video. Just about to fit mine with light too! You can flip them over so it will open to the left or right like your previous door. There’s pics on their website showing it either way around, I guess it could help with the cable run to the controller for some folk. Are you using it on the light setting or the timer? You’ll have to let us know how long the batteries last too...

I was using the light sensor but now use the timer. I found if a storm came through and it got darker earlier they would get locked out. Thanks for watching!
