- Introducing the Omlet Automatic Chicken Coop Door!
Do you have electricity for your chicken coop? I DON’T!
Up until now, I’ve had the most complicated, unreliable, coop door, that consists of a solar panel, battery, and a terrible timer.
If you’ve been frustrated like me then this is the time to UPGRADE! I’m telling you, no one else compares. This is the best coop on the market 🙌
Best Automatic chicken coop door ever!!!
I wanted to share my obsession with Omlet’s new automatic chicken coop door. The best part is you don’t need electricity to your coop and it’s so simple!

Mine is out for delivery today. I’m way more excited than anyone should be over a chicken coop door. I’m so looking forward to not having to let them out and lock them up every night.
Product requires no electricity. Skip to 2:38 to view product from outside. 2:53 to view timer. 3:32 to view product from inside & see product use(demonstrates speed). Thank you for this preview.
I am so glad to hear and see this. I have been searching all over for a good chicken coop that I didn’t have to build from scratch and just before I hit the button and got a wooden one I did one more Internet search and Eglu popped up! It just came this week in purple my favorite color and I’m in the process now of putting up the run. I got three runs with it and the automatic door so this was pretty neat to see it in action.
I’m still so so happy with it! I hope you love it
I'm not real familiar with what it takes to have Chickens but this really does seem like an excellent product AND given your frustration with "Solar Power" and batteries not doing their job , hopefully this will be the key to better management for you and your Chickens. I did laugh out loud in the beginning when you said this video was for my Chicken Lovers.....um...er....because I could eat Chicken EVERY DAY.....and I'm assuming that you meant The Chicken Lovers who nurture and love their Birds for the eggs....but they are animals and I'd STILL try to "Chat" with them and love on them as well. Great video Miss Tara and as always Much Appreciated! Cheers From Ohio
Hahaha that's funny! I eat chicken too - just don't tell my chickens 🤣
I'm getting one of these coops. It seems like you can leave the door open all the time since they have an enclosed run? Thanks from Paradise CA
i agree, love mine too!
Do you get snow where you live? If you do, maybe you could do a winterizing your chicken coop/run video♥️ I have this same coop and live near Chicago so I’m already thinking about how I should protect the run from snow and freezing rain!
I’m really going to get one of this definitely cool stuff
Where did you get your post brackets?
How's this opener holding up after a year? Thinking of purchasing one. Thanks!
It’s still great! I still haven’t had to change the batteries yet. And I have 3 now. One on every coop I have 😅
@@TaraBeaverCoronado Thanks for the quick response. About to make my order.
I just purchased this coop with the automatic door. How many chickens do you keep in yours?
I have 6 bantams in it now. Maybe 4 full grown
How many chickens do you keep per Omelet coop? Do they stay in the cage all the time or do they go out in the yard too? We are thinking of getting about 3 chickens next spring. Thank you.
James Reed I keep 4 in the particular coop. They have extension to make the run area bigger which would allow more chickens 😊 I have some free range hens but the ones I keep in this coop always stay in the run. I bought an upgrade that added wheels to the coop. This allows me to easily move the coop around every few days so I can put them on fresh grass. I think this coop would be perfect for 3 hens!
What was the brand of the other auto door you hated?
I feel like it was just called automatic chicken coop door
Hey Miss Tara. That is a nice ideal. But is there a safety switch so if theres something blocking the door so it wont close all the way? Wouldnt want to smash a chicken. Didnt hear your little roo with the good set of lungs in the back gound. Lol
Yes! If anything blocks the door it opens back up. I’ve seen it in action 😅 it tries to close 2-3 times I believe. And if the blockage stays then it stays open
@@TaraBeaverCoronado and yet that can be fitted in any application?
Yes! I have one in my large wooden coop, and one in the Omlet 😊
@@TaraBeaverCoronado so you can fram your old opening to install the automatic door?
My hen got her wing trapped in it
Tara, you don't need to tell us you are a female farmer. The fact you are a female is evident. With red hair, we are jealous, we wanted a red hair child so bad and we didn't even get a red head grandchild.
