I love fork. My best friend and fishing partner passed away in 2010 from hepatitis c. Haven't fished since. The last time we fished on fork was a Big Bass night tourney in which I caught a 9.5 lb. Toad which won us $800 for big fish of tournament. I miss you Robert. RIP my friend.😢

I grew up on kentucky lake at Paris landing, which used to be world class bass fishing. My dad was the park manager. We had all the access we could ever want. And he still took a trip every year to Texas for lake fork

Never fished lake fork before and ive been wanting to go next spring and i primarily fish with a fly rod. Is it a tough lake to fish with all the pressure? And is there good bank angling opportunity or does this lake pretty much require a boat?

When I was a kid, I used to watch Bill Dance, Al Linder, and my favorite, Jimmy Houston every chance I got. My dad believed that it’s fake, he would tell me that divers were on the bottom and hooking farm raised Bass onto their lines.... he’s an idiot... he also believes that JFK is still alive and living on the moon, probably with Elvis.... hahaha.

Line question. I am always torn with what line size to throw a jerk bait on when fishing a lake with monster bass in it. What were you throwing here and on the mystery lake?
I generally use 12 pound sunline it’s all about how you fight them but if u want to be cautious use 15 but just know your jerkbait won’t dive as deep with heavier line
