If you go to lake travis which isn't far from there I recommend going up the Colorado a bit but throw a spook and pearl weightless fluke and a shutter spoon pulse your big glide baits

Badass a pickup from the last video where the huge as fast for being site fish was Glide baits LOL that's so awesome that they were still on beds even Summer sucks because of the water temperature but one thing good about summer is if you know where your fishing you can sight fish because I don't have a boat and I do a lot of Bank stomping LOL but there's a swamp where I live you can see the bottom and it's not really that big or deep but it's got some of the biggest bass in the area I live in New York and I've caught Three 6 pounds and a 9 pound bass out of that place it's like a reservation conservation but if you volunteer to do work there for free they let you fish it as in return I think it might be like a campground type of deal but the only people allowed to fish it are the people that volunteer and it's definitely worth it but anyway back to my story you can see all the way across it and you wouldn't think there were any fish in there and it's got the biggest fish besides like Lake Erie Allegheny River Cattaraugus Creek or Chautauqua Lake but it's the best place I've ever been for tap water and they love them for in Berkley gulp soft Plastics 4 inch minnows worked as weightless on top they also of course poppers frogs I've only went there in the summer and you catch a big fish almost every cast is a two-to-three pounder
Monster bass. I have targeting big bass too. I am after a fish over 5 lbs. I am not sure what my biggest fish is right now. I did not keep up with it when I was younger
