The amount of courage it took to open up about such a profound story is inspiring and still leaves me breathless. Let this story be a testament that no one is ever too broken for God. I hate how society is glorifying the porn industry. As a psychologist, porn is not something to praise because 99% of the actors have an addiction or no other method survival. Whether they find God or not, it is best to never do porn. But I'm so happy you did find God and forever ❤ go with that path. I hope everyone does.

it still hits me by surprise when I see people are convinced that the world is comprised of two distinctively adorned spheres, meaning west and east. It is not embedded anywhere but in the mind of the those who advertently cause this shame-going.

The best thing about this story for me, is the realisation that it is not pleasurable, glamorous, or satisfying for young men. We have been taught as a society that porn is fun, especially for the young men in the industry. As a woman, I can understand what it does to women in the industry, and what kind of a mind space you would have to be in, as a woman, to do this. But this made me realize that the same goes for men, and it has been such a shift for me. So Thank You. 🙏🏾

Thank you so much for sharing this. It’s nice to hear a guy’s perspective. I’m a female, but I’ve been on the journey of leaving the sex industry for about two years now. It’s definitely not an easy path and I had to become homeless in order to leave it behind. But now, I have a house and I’m finishing my degree and I have hope again. It’s so isolating to do that for work because none of the people you work with or for actually care about you so you’re very much on your own when leaving. I’m so glad you managed to escape that life.

Not having a father in your life wreaks havoc and somehow sets the tone for your relationships during life, but having a relationship with my Heavenly Father has made a world of difference for me. God is good. He is amazing. Only He can change a person’s heart and transform people’s lives. He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to save us. Jesus died on the cross for us sinners. What Satan meant for evil, God uses for good. Genesis 50:20 as saying to his brothers, “You meant evil against me, but God used it for good.” What a story with great implications for our own lives. I pray for Joshua and his family. May God continue to use them for His greater glory and in advancing His kingdom. Hard times are here and it’ll only get tougher, as what’s written in the Bible. May we all pray for God’s wisdom and strength as we proclaim His Word and may we continue to hold on to Him and His promises.

While I've never been in an adult film, I've certainly had my issues with pornography over the years, and I occasionally still indulge, hoping beyond hope that THIS TIME I'll emerge guilt-free. The one thing I like about UA-cam is I can randomly hear so many different stories of how they've met Jesus. Everyone's vulnerability was different and God worked according to each one's specific situation. It's like a puzzle, combined for a big picture.

Regarding our vulnerability as males, I agree a hundred percent. Machist society, based on "the strong or exaggerated sense of traditional masculinity, placing great value on physical courage, virility, domination of women, and aggressiveness" needs to be changed. I believe in the new masculinities settled on the respect and the appraising of women and men are first of all human beings with worthy dreams, hopes, expectatives, and achievements, and learned lessons from frustrations, and mistakes.
