Roger Clyne is a songwriting treasure. The song should have been huge. His writing and singing with Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers just keeps getting better.
Had the exqusite pleasure of seeing RC&The peacmakers back in May. Good Lord, Mr. Clyne and company put on a FANTASTIC SHOW!! He still has it and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. It was seriously one of the absolute best concerts I've ever been to. I'm 55 and saw VH back in 1987. 5150 tour. Been going to concerts since.
Every time I would pop in one of their CDs in my car, anyone in the car would ask what band was IS THAT??? First time I heard them was driving to work with my daughter, (she went to the school I taught). Oh we called the radio station to have them play it again (and ask the name of the band). Stlll my favorite group.
I will give you an "on par" with the 80s solely because of this band. Don't get me wrong, a LOT of great music came out in the 90s. But the 80s, the entire decade, every year, had great great music. I didn't really see as wide a spectrum in the 90s as in the 80s. The 1980s had punk and ended with hair metal. The 90s started with gangster rap and ended with.....ummmm.....with....I don't know. See what I mean? 😊
Awesome band , first time I heard about them was in one Caribbean Island by Direct tv music channel in 2010 , since that date I've been listening them. Banditos, Mekong , regards from Peru amigos .
I'll check, but I think I tried at some point and they blocked me from uploading it. I wish whoever owns the music now would just upload high definition versions of all the videos.
@@ihavetonsofthese if so can you send it on google drive, I'm collecting any media of the refreshments possible because they are such an obscure band (and I will credit any sources)
FFB&B is one of the top 10 music albums of all time. You can't change my mind.

The mid-to-late 90's, when it wasn't against the law to hold a guitar and look like you were having fun while doing so!!

Would it be possible for you to recover the music video for Good Year by this band? all i could find is a poor quality rip off of 120 Minutes

Some old vhs tape that my friend copied for me in the late 90's that was all music videos, just happy he used "SP" mode.
