Great video and another beautiful piece of furniture. I was wondering what you use the giant calipers for? You are shown adjusting them a few times, but you don't appear to be measuring anything with them. Are they just meant to serve as fixed measurements for the length of the components that you can reference once set?
It is well used for measurement purposes.
And I'm using it to draw very precise knife lines.
