Hi Friends! Let's just have a casual pantry chat today. In this video I share bite-size projects anyone can complete in the month of January. I"ll help you create a grocery guide, consider what kitchen tools to leverage in 2023 and ways to take advantage of shopping out of season. Let me know if this is something you'd like me to do each month! See you next weekend! xoxo Cassandra
Totally love being organized and being intentional. Planning is so crucial. Any tidbit/advice you can share is greatly appreciated. Currently doing the pantry challenge and using up Items that become less popular or convenient. Keeps me accountable to not waste. Thanks for sharing, love your videos.
I have a jar of 52 (fifty two) year old that my mom canned. The pickles were in the back of a cabinet that we didn’t find until my parents retired and sold their house. I have been the keeper of the “family pickles”. Since we found them. The pickles are still beautiful looking. My plan is if I ever have someone break in my house, I’ll offer the burglar a pickle, that’ll learn them! 😅
Haha, Linda this is too funny! I'm convinced that 1/2 of the reason that I can is just to see those beautiful glass jars stuffed with food, just like those emerald green pickles on your shelf.
Radishes are so affordable and are a great alt to turnips. I cook them in a little soy sauce and butter, roast them, pickle them, simmer them in some dashi, throw them in beef stew... easy to get and usually available super early and even when other veggies aren't around yet.
I'm enjoying challenging myself for the pantry challenge. Today I made an amazing soup-y'all it's shut up and take my money good! I used dry beans I already had- soaked them overnight ( Navy, pinto and black) parboiled them for about 15 min. Sauteed Onion, celery carrots-then added marjoram, parsley, thyme, salt and pepper, and 2 cloves minced garlic plus a Tbs of tomato paste. Used some home canned ham broth, brought to a simmer and added the beans. Used up some frozen leftover smoked pork butt and simmered for about 4 hours. I did add some home canned beef broth too as the beans soaked up a lot of the broth. My husband said- so you're telling me this was from stuff we just had in the house? I was like yep 😁. I probably wouldn't have done this cooking experiment if it wasn't for the pantry challenge.
It's great to just sit down and chat about our pantries and home kitchens. Sometimes all the encouragement you need is someone who knows the challenges you face and is willing to share the experiences they have learned. Thank you for this chat. I have never canned before, but I definitely look forward to beginning. I appreciate the encouragement and an opportunity to sit with friends in your kitchen.
So good to see you making more videos again! I know you work full-time and have home and family to care for. I'm sure that doesn't leave you with a ton of extra time. I always enjoy your videos and learn so much from them.
Oh man. My Kitchen-Aide is my all purpose kitchen appliance! I have a pasta attachment, juicer/purée-er/food slicer& processor/shredder/removes tomato pulp for tomato paste, etc), meat grinder, and even an ice cream maker bowl! It’s the best investment I’ve made in a kitchen appliance (next to my pressure canner of course). It was a Christmas gift from my husband and he got it for me nearly 10 years ago and it looks and performs like brand new! I make everything in that thing! I love it! 🥰
With the economy in the toilet and the supply chain in shambles, it just doesn’t make sense to me to try to “use up” my stored items. I love challenging myself is use what’s in my pantry, but I’m not skipping the grocery store; just wisely rotating. Thanks for this, this was really thought provoking.
The cards and letters….. as a kid I HAD TONS IF STATIONARY!! I loved it! Feet few people send cards anymore and when we get them they say: Love, Deb and Tom What????? These friends live 950 miles away! No letter of what’s new??? Every card I send has a note in it, or a letter. I have pared down my card list, however, to about 15-20 people that are very important. That’s it. I guess the price if stamps scares people away too now and I can see that. We are def lucky to live in the digital world, …sometimes. Thanks for a great video!
Yes, I love the pantry chat! I am sitting here on my sofa, feet on the coffee table, laptop on my lap with coffee sitting on the side table and notes on the other side. What a pleasant break!!
So good to see you. I cannot believe you purchased KitchenAid attachments for almost nothing. Lucky lucky you. I used my meat grinder back in the day every week. Grocery had sales on round steak cheaper than hamburger. Out came the grinder. Made breakfast sausage from pork butt my daughter and I would grind for hours and have months worth of meals. Thanks for the memory. In Texas during the summer the butter crock is in the fridge. If not you lift the lid and butter plops in the water. Ha ha Have a great weekend
Hi Donna! Thank you for sharing your memories with me. One “advantage” of currently living near a city is the second hand market and yes, my jaw hit the floor too that I was able to score these items. I’m hoping to use them to do exactly what you shared, make my own ground meat at home and cheaper! Too funny about your butter crockpot! Enjoy your weekend as well!
Never cheat yourself on good kitchen appliances. Kitchenaid and Ninja are my BFF 💓. I also have used my roaster to cook down tomatoes and bones for stock. That roaster is used year round! I just subscribed, I enjoy seeing others on their journey to self sufficiency. I'm a homesteader, micro farmer. 2.2 acres, garden, chickens, quail, steer, pigs, orchard, berries, grapes, asparagus patches. We can, freeze dry, dehydrate. Work full time still. I tried no spend January with a small budget but I realized I'm denying myself from continuing prepping. Which I've done for years not just the last 3 lol. Keep it up young lady!
I so enjoy listening to you. You are young, energetic and down to earth realistic! Wish I had aspired to this life style when I was your age. Keep sharing tips and recipes even us grandmas can learn a thing or two.
Girrrlfriend... I got my seeds already!! Put my order in the last part of December and MI Gardener was already out of some varieties. I'm in zone 5b and it's time to start onion seeds. [gentle nudge] Get your seed order in pronto!! Seriously, thought, another great video filled with tips and useful suggestions. I canned oranges in honey this weekend. Had some left over so I used it to glaze some pork chops which are now in the oven. Smells divine. The splash of vanilla just elevated the honey to a whole new level!
Who doesn't love salsa!!! Thank you for the easy way of making it! Your recipe ideas are great! So glad you brought this to Canuary 2023! Keep smiling, girl!
Another outstanding video! Excellent pantry chat with so many great ideas. Really love the card organizer for the year. Thank you for all the practical ideas.
I love tying a Christmas ornament and a couple jingle bells on a gift with the red and green curling ribbon. When the packages are carried you get the wonderful tinkling sound of the bells. Or even with pinecone decoration.
I am with you sis, I can't imagine not sending out cards or letters. I love getting them!! A little bit of tangible love. Everybody needs some!! I love, love, love your videos.❤❤❤ keep up the great job!
Kitchen Aid attachments are the definite bomb. My Mom has used the vegetable shredder/slicer attachment for years to make Cole slaw, shredded zucchini, sliced potatoes and carrots, etc. I use the citrus juicer attachment every winter when my lemon trees explode. I did recently get the pasta attachments like yours, and I'm coveting the meat grinder attachment. A friend of mine got the ice cream attachment, thinking she would regret it, but now says it's her favorite one. All of the attachments are a great way to see what activities you actually want to go deeper in without spending bajillions of dollars.
I love your pantry chat! I was not aware of what to buy in January. Such awesome suggestions! And I have been thinking lately about getting a kitchen aid attachment for peeling apples and potatoes, and the one for noodles for my kitchen aid mixer. I appreciate that you lean toward the ways previous generations put up food. I didn’t get there until my 60’s. It’s refreshing to see you doing these older ways of food prep at your young age. You inspire me! God bless you in all you do:)
I love my Kitchen Aid. I have the plastic and metal meat grinder and use it regularly and it has held up for almost a decade. I imagine the stainless will last forever. The pasta roller is my favorite though. Make your bone broth in your roaster- it's a game changer!
Cassandra, my mom uses her kitchen aid grinder to make homemade cranberry sauce every yr. 1 bag of cranberries, 1 orange including the rind and sugar to taste (I think she uses maybe 1/2 c per bag) let it sit in the fridge to develop flavors and then freeze. She makes enough for putting on venison, pork chops, turkey etc for the whole yr, plus she gives some to each of us kids! It's fantastic!!!
I agree. I still send cards and I SAVE ALL the cards I receive, too. I've been Christmas shopping like what you described since my first born and he's 35 yrs old! I also shopped like this for my children's clothing.
Another good time to shop for home items is when college kids are getting ready to go back to school. And they are going to be outfitting their dorm rooms. Many times things are marked down to coincide with those goods.
I was in my local Container Store yesterday. Usually in January they have their "organization" sales, especially on their Elfa closet inserts. There were no sales yesterday. Very unusual. Your card binder idea is brilliant. And yes, kitchen clutter is a total bummer!
Random catch. I love that organizer for your weekly cash budget! I'm so glad I found your channel through Canuary! You are so creative and energetic. It's a boost to watch you! Bless you.
Wish I can CAN , but no time. What I do do is use my slower cooker a lot , 1 with bean, and 1 with meat cooking then I freeze 1/2 of each. Mason jar in freezer. When I get busy, this is my biggest help for the week. Love the show
A drop of water and those jar jackets slide on and off super easy.😉 Thank you for such a great video and sharing all the things!! I looove seeing your videos pop up! I look forward to all your tips and wisdom! God bless!
I also shop after holiday sales. I have saved so much money. I am able to change my color scheme of my Christmas tree every year without spending a fortune on doing so. Buy frozen veggies and dehydrate them and stock up when they are so inexpensive. And saves so much space. I love your tips and tricks that you share. Thank you for sharing
You made laugh so hard, telling your husband "just turn turkey on it's side, it'll fit".... I call it freezer jenga every time I come home from store. I wish more young people were like you being smart shoppers. I only shop the sales and buy the staples milk and bread. I can stock up faster and more effectively that way. I found 2 sales on ground beef with store app limit 2 packs. I made 7lbs into meatloaf mixes for freezer, other 7lbs I made into cooked meatballs. I'm in my 60s, it tires me out doing food prep all at one time, but it saves a ton of work down line and simplifies my life. I do can and dehydrate. I use a lot of manual antique tools, but I also have modern conveniences. At my age, if you have something that makes it easier and more efficient, use it! I splurged and got an instant pot max for canning small batches with tax return. I don't know how to cook in it, but I can small batches of leftover meats and soups in it. Do your own research on it, in case of any "canning police", I do me, you do you...🙂
I love this reminder of what is in season. Have you considered making a playlist with a video per month to give us a guide to what we should buy, grow, can, and preserve? I would refer to it constantly! As a working and homeschooling mom of 3 kids and 2 cats, remembering what produce to buy is not easy! I often get my groceries delivered and don't physically pick through the stores anymore.
Hi friend! I’m so glad you found this helpful and YES I totally want you to add this as my first video of every month. The format is very different than what I normally do but I wanted to try this out and your comment is so helpful in letting me know I might be on to something! Thank you for your note!
I hear ya I hear ya I cannot can enough tomato sauce either. It goes in so many things from soups to meatloaf to stews. The uses for it is an ending. Totally enjoyed your video today thank you for your time
What a lovely chat. I feel like we have been friends for years and you are sitting across of me giving me advice. All we need now is a cup of coffee, or tea
Hello new sub as of today, I don't know how I found you but so glad I did. This is exactly what I needed. I love your enthusiasm, and the passion for the topics in your content. I am enjoying watching your videos as I plan my garden, while cleaning and organizing. Happy Sunday and be blessed ! I'm looking forward to saving more and learning to can this year. ABBY from Louisiana !
Hi 👋🏾 Abby! Thank you for saying hello and I’m so glad to keep you company during house errands (Haha-I do the same thing too as I clean). My dad is from Shreveport, LA! I’m happy to share (and learn) tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way as I figure out this whole homesteading thing. Enjoy your weekend!
So, here I am, months later (it's October), and I'm just watching this episode. I've been binge watching you as I work in my kitchen. I have the last of the year's hot peppers roasting while I prepare to can enchilada sauce😋, using my green tomatoes. I have the last jars of apple cider in the canner now (unless I luck into more free apples!). I've been canning/freezing/dehydrating foods for 30 of our 31 years of marriage, and it has been worth every late night and every early morning. I also prefer manual tools (hey, you never know when the power will go out!), but my Kitchen Aid is an indispensable tool! I also love my grain mill and my food processor, and yes, I'll be replacing my roaster that died last year. You won't regret having those tools! Happy Homesteading!
I see you're wearing the earrings your mama gave you, beautiful. I've binge watched so many of your videos today that you are now at the top of my watch list! 😊
During this entire video, all I could do was nod my head and laugh. SO MANY of the things you mentioned are things I have had to learn the hard way, but which I LOVE doing. The mop trick - been doing that for abt 5 yrs now (though I use a steam mop and a spray bottle with DIY cleaner). The "going back in time" in my kitchen - slowly for about 10, as I took Alton Brown's message on uni-tools to heart (and I realized many were useless junk not worth my $). Investments in cast iron were a much better use! My gifted kitchen aid was an exception - I even have the same meat grinder attachment! I LITERALLY GAFAWED when you mentioned your recent purchases, though -- I had gotten a roaster (off of Marketplace) just this canning season and was amazed at how much easier my cooked tomato products were to put up! All that to say - thank you for putting all of these lessons in a digestible format for the world to enjoy! You are absolutely one of my fav UA-camrs! PS - I had to get my kitchen aid serviced a couple of yrs ago. Aside from some covid related issues, such as supply line delays, it was an easy and helpful experience. A great buy that will meet a lifetime of needs and is as worthy an investment as any cast iron pan. Also -- NOT a uni-tool, so even within ABs standards.
I'm glad that you were able to purchase a KitchenAid mixer at such a bargain. I also purchased the Grain Mill Attachment, and it does a great job. If you can find one at a bargain, you won't be disappointed.
Love the pantry chat Cassandra. I am definitely going to take a look at my kitchen tools and get rid of the ones I don't use regularly. I am also going to implement your card file. Fabulous idea. Thank you for being part of Canuary.
I really enjoyed this video. I am trying to use more wheat I have but when there is a great deal, I am getting it. We went to a store we never go to because they had a huge saving on ground beef and pork loin. We grounded the pork loin up into sausage which we were all out of. Today we are grounding bacon with some of the hamburger meat for burgers. There was a long line for the ground beef. I love the ideal of thrifting for kitchen tools. The prices are crazy. I work in 4 grocery stores and see the craziness. I do resets. Last year we did resets in beans and ended up with 6 bags of dried pinto beans clearanced out. I am always looking at their clearance items. Recently I discovered something called FlashFood app which the stores I work take part in. So now I check to see what they have available before work. I have not used it yet because I want only what I know I will use.
WOW you got a killer deal on that pasta set! I am glad you are finding ways to be able to have more self sufficient ingredients. Good for you new to your channel I love them so far and told some friends!
Great video! I've been canning pork loin, chicken, potatoes and today doing peach salsa. I wish canning jars would go on sale because I want to keep going and going.
@@BecomingaFarmGirl Tomorrow I’m doing your 2 onion canning projects, along with beef I’ve had in my freezer. I LOVE your videos!! We have one acre of land, but have deer that walk up into our deck to eat our plants. We just ordered a Greenstalk and hope we can harvest more this year.
WOW, 50 jars of tomatoes. I wish I had room to store canned goods. Most homes in Florida do not have basements, so finding space inside - where it is climate controlled - is very difficult.
Yes, the grain mill for my kitchen aid mixer has been great! It was the most affordable option when I started grinding my own grains. The motor gets a little warm but, just give it a ten minute break between hopper fulls. Make sure you read the maintenance. Apparently, KitchenAid mixers require oil changes. Who knew?!
Hi Samantha! Honey, I am super excited to try it because I think its going to be a game changer in keeping our budget in check as food prices continue to rise. Since I cook most from scratch and can, I've already noticed a huge savings between our grocery bill but I think a few uncovered areas in my pantry truly are having tools that, well, you just don't hear people getting excited about (ie-like an air fryer). Happy New Year to you!
I’m anxious to see how your meat grinder works for your KitchenAid. Mainly because I bought the KitchenAid attachments for grains. Did not care for it at all. It did not get the grains fine enough to be able to cook with. I hope this is not the case with the meat grinder because I would like one also.
I came across your UA-cam channel recently, but after watching this one I'm sure we'd be fast friends that when we'd get together we would totally geek out together on appliances, the latest thing we found thrifting and using unprocessed whole staples to achieve the variety of food available on the grocer's shelf. I love your content! Thank you!
As always, another great video . I really did feel like we sitting down together. Be careful using your kitchen aide attachments. If the motor starts sounding overburdened, let it cool down. My experience has been that they’re not as hardy as you might expect. I still use mine a lot, but am way more cautious about how long I make my replacement model work. Good luck! You’ll have lots of fun!
Hello new friend! Awww, you are too kind! As I wait the next few years for a small homestead, there is still so much you can learn and do even without land or livestock. Happy New Year to you, friend!
I love your card organization. I'm the same way. I've kept all the cards sent to me from family. I'm definitely going to use your system. Definitely better than my current method of running out trying to find the perfect card last minute. lol
I got the roaster for both my daughter and DIL They mostly use them through the holidays for large family meals. Afterwards I was sorry I didn't get one for myself. We do have a big family and friends will join in as well. So it can be 20- 30 people at a time with the children and teens.
Oh my goodness! So many helpful tips in this video! Thank you!! And thanks to those other ladies too! That binder for the cards! I missed getting Christmas cards out this year and last year too 😞 Definitely thinking of getting them done early and having them ready to go! I've been considering a grain mill for a while now too but haven't yet. By the way, the grinder attachment for the Kitchen Aid is amazing! I need to dust mine off and take advantage on the next sale! Thank you again for sharing this video, you got my wheels turning! lol
For years I have used those 12 x 12 microfiber cloths I get in 24 packs on Amazon for swiffer pads. The corners will press into the holders on the top of the mop. I like the thicker ones for dusting the walls or baseboards, but I don't hesitate to use the cloths to quickly wipe up a spill and spot clean and swap. Somehow having a couple dozen to swap through has a calming psychological impact on me and I'm less likely to give in to the temptation of using paper towels LOL
Cassandra, I'm really enjoying your videos. You are a breath of fresh air! I appreciate how well you explain things and the reasoning behind why you do what you do. Hope the way that I said that makes sense. Thank you so much for sharing!
I'd never heard of the mold problem with the butter bell, thank you for the heads up! I just use tap water and we go through the butter in less than 7 days, but this is good to know!
You are the thrifting queen! I’m amazed at the prices you were able to get for the KitchenAid and attachments. My big Christmas gift this year was a few attachments, but I haven’t had a chance to play with them yet. Hopefully soon. I enjoyed the pantry building tips, and am looking forward to more of these videos!
I bought a roaster last year and absolutely agree it’s a huge asset to the kitchen. I’m actually watching for an opportunity to purchase a second one. I also purchased this last fall a grain mill. Working on finishing up a couple other projects before I dive into the grain mill but very excited to get started. Thank you for all the inspiration your pour into our lives thru UA-cam! You’re appreciated.
Cheryl, your words are too sweet! Having a roaster has made my kitchen feel like its doubled in size and its allowing me to get more canned food on the shelf. I can't believe that I've only had it for a few months, but man, what a game changer! Hopefully I can thrift a grain mill soon, but until then, I'll get used to the meat grinder and pasta maker. Finally having canning friends, like you, has been such a blessing to me. I feel like I"m not alone in my kitchen any more.
@@BecomingaFarmGirl I have seen an assortment of mills listed on Offer Up. I ended up buying mine new when a deal came up that allowed a purchase of a new one with warranties etc that ended up cheaper than the used ones! Now I’m watching for a freeze dryer 😚. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to the next time ‘we’re in the kitchen’!
Im challening myself to get myself back into canning..while living in Pennsylvania i canned yearly.. When moving to metro Atlanta I lost touch with that part of myself for a bit..so pulling myself back into it! Happy Canuary, Happy Days, Happy Chat.. Thank you, ForJars and Every wonderful creator that's bringing us all of this amazing information and lessons
Hi Wendy! Oh wow, we were nearly neighbors! I can't imagine where my grocery budget and sense of having control over what we eat, the ability to take advantage of fresh produce sales in ways that you just can't if you don't have multiple freezers or know how to preserve allows you to build a food pantry. Start slowly and ramp up each season. I've got plenty of canning videos here on the channel!
@@BecomingaFarmGirl well Hello Hello almost neighbor! I camt wait to see more from you and all the others.. In those times we not only need to help others but need to learn to become self reliable ..
I have had my butter bell for about 4 years but only used seldom when I made my own butter, until I saw your video. Now I keep my bell on the kitchen table with delicious Kerrygold butter in it. Soft and ready to spread. I just change the water out every 2 days.
Don't you just love it? Even when I have store butter in it, there are a number of items (breakfast cereal, biscuits, baked potatoes, etc) that I love just having soft butter ready for! Glad to see its returned to the table!
Thrifting is the best! I miss it so much, we don’t have many around here and they’re pretty high priced! That blender and meat grinder is an amazing price!! I’m so excited for Fermented February!!
Use KitchenAid Grinder and electric roaster all the time! Use the roaster to make turkey when dressing and rolls, etc., are in the oven. Looking for a good grain mill, too. Have a Victoria hand crank for grid down, but would like an electric one so I can have fresh flour - Yum, WOW! Anticipation.....
Hi Chris! I’m so happy to hear you get a lot of use from these tools! It was such a blessing that I found them second hand and I have used my roaster so much this past year, who knew! I feel like I’ve doubled the size of my kitchen in terms of how much I can process 😜I hear you on the grain mill, hopefully I can thrift that too but for now I’m excited about the meat grinder.
I am excited for canuary, it is the first time I have participated. The pantry challenge is something I have been doing for a long time, I buy on sale items and put them in my stock rotation
So glad to find your channel thanks to cannuary. I definitely want to watch the sourdough discard video soon as I am waking my starter up again and Bob could use some new uses... Yes, I named my starter. Makes it fun when you say something like I baked Bob today. Depending on the company you can get some crazy looks😁
I love your posts… you remind me so much of my youngest daughter who is a teacher too. So busy and yet gets a lot done. Yes I’m a LTS canner and have all of those appliances as well as a large kitchenaid food processor and a Victorio sauce maker. I’m in the Sutton Daze Canuary challenge and pantry challenge. Coming into the 3rd week it’s time to share myself how it’s going.
This was a remarkable chat! Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks. I ordered your recommended books on dehydration and fermenting. I can't wait to dehydrate!
Hi Candice. Thanks for this video. I love all of the info. The encouragement is much appreciated. I'm back to work and not doing as much as I had been. Small batches is my focus now.. Looking forward to your next video!

Thank you for sharing this Cassandra ❤️
You are more than welcome! Happy New Year to you, friend! Always good to see you in the channel. 🎉
I look forward to actually planning meals from my pantry instead of just my freezer meals which I love. Thanks for tips, cant wait for more!
Totally love being organized and being intentional. Planning is so crucial. Any tidbit/advice you can share is greatly appreciated.
Currently doing the pantry challenge and using up Items that become less popular or convenient. Keeps me accountable to not waste.
Thanks for sharing, love your videos.
From this Marylander to you, thank you again for your wonderful videos. I still need to get down to that farmers for figs lol. Randy

I so enjoy listening to you. You are young, energetic and down to earth realistic! Wish I had aspired to this life style when I was your age. Keep sharing tips and recipes even us grandmas can learn a thing or two.
My kitchen aid meat grinder is my favorite kitchen tool. Not the most used but my favorite.
I love getting things on sale, especially now that groceries are going up so much
I love tying a Christmas ornament and a couple jingle bells on a gift with the red and green curling ribbon. When the packages are carried you get the wonderful tinkling sound of the bells. Or even with pinecone decoration.
See if you can find a Wonder Mill. Quiet compared to many power table top flour mills, and the texture is good. :)
I think you could can rocks and it would look so good. Am addicted to your channel.
I absolutely love the style of you just chatting about your kitchen, your food and your style💜
Love the show
A drop of water and those jar jackets slide on and off super easy.😉
Thank you for such a great video and sharing all the things!! I looove seeing your videos pop up! I look forward to all your tips and wisdom! God bless!
Canned some chicken for the first time. One didn’t seal so we had a chicken Cesar salad😎. Love your tips.
Yes, please.
Yes please
Great to think about the pantry as a whole. I don’t spend enough time thinking about the bigger picture.
So this month I am starting seed starters. Onions are on the calendar tomorrow.
I'm glad that you were able to purchase a KitchenAid mixer at such a bargain. I also purchased the Grain Mill Attachment, and it does a great job. If you can find one at a bargain, you won't be disappointed.
Canuary! Canuary! Love you do your videos. Glad to see you in the collab.
Love the pantry chat Cassandra. I am definitely going to take a look at my kitchen tools and get rid of the ones I don't use regularly. I am also going to implement your card file. Fabulous idea. Thank you for being part of Canuary.
I love all the little tips and really enjoy knowing that you read all of your comments 🙂
Hi Jodi! Woman you are on a roll! I hear you on the canning jars; closer to March-May you’ll see more sales. Peach salsa sounds delish!!!
I’m so glad I found your channel!! Informative, engaging, and fun. I’m learning so much. Appreciate ya!!
What great ideas, all of them! You are so inspiring to me. Thank you!!
Who knew?!
Wow! So many great tips and ideas. Thank you for the nice chat. Blessings on your day Kiddo!😊🌻🐛
Thank you so much, Carolyn!
You are precious! Great video and great ideas!
Your excitement about the meat grinder is rubbing off on me. Now I want one!! Love your videos.
You have some great ideas to try!
Thank you
Please do a video on the recipes you use for your condiments.
Thank you!
Great video! I’m always so happy when I see you have a new one! ❤
We grind meat all the time. We did make sausage links but find many family members take the meat out of the casing!
I just recently found your channel and am loving it! You are my kind of gal!! Lots of helpful info and you are definitely a farm girl❤
Definitely better than my current method of running out trying to find the perfect card last minute. lol
Love your videos! Always look forward to them!
Thank you again for sharing this video, you got my wheels turning! lol
Thank you for all of the great information. I can't wait to see more of your video.
You are so welcome!
Love the engagement with your subscribers and viewers!! Keep up the good work 🙏🏾
For years I have used those 12 x 12 microfiber cloths I get in 24 packs on Amazon for swiffer pads.
Hi 👋🏾 Gen! I completely understand you and I’m so glad you find my ramblings helpful! I hope you’re enjoying the weekend!
Thank you for participating in Canuary 2023. Blessings.
Absolutely, Henri!
Yet another great video from Cassandra! Keep them coming …you are so good at this and full of great ideas!
Hi 👋🏾 Tricia! Always good to see you! This recipe is so easy to make. Happy Canuary!
Thank you for all that you do to help us newbies.
Chatting is good!
Thanks for explaining what products are most available at best prices this time of year.
Thanks for all the energy to teach food helps
Thank you for your time and recipes and the ideas for the pantry!
Loving all the information-this is my 2 year taking in Canuary and am loving it!!!
Aww, thank you! And yes, teachers and moms are some of the most efficient folks around!
I need a clip of you saying "I just shimmied the turkey and moved the bags to the door! " 😂😂😂 That's me with my husband 🤣🤣
This was a remarkable chat! Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks. I ordered your recommended books on dehydration and fermenting. I can't wait to dehydrate!
Thank you, Valerie. I’m going to keep these format as a monthly series. Happy New Year!
Hi Candice. Thanks for this video. I love all of the info. The encouragement is much appreciated. I'm back to work and not doing as much as I had been. Small batches is my focus now.. Looking forward to your next video!
Great video! I love sharing tips and ideas among the community.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I did get jar jackets…. But great idea for transporting! My jars will have a 40 mile snowmachine ride when we retire!
I use old black socks for dark pantry on my canning jars.
Thank you for useful and timely ideas.
You are so welcome!
