      Kales Broccoli Winner of a video, I have been researching "basics to surfing" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Feyvid Surfers Semitist - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my partner got amazing success with it.

    I found out a really good way to get your backside hacks/carves.
    With your leading hand guide it up to the top of the wave.
    Then pretend you are going to punch someone behind you.
    Tell me it the helps you.

    • @willkey7372
      @willkey7372 5 років тому

      LBSK Films do u u mean guide your lead hand up the top of the wave while your going up then when u change directions punch down because I would think that punching behind u would throw off coming back down off the lip or section and also look really wierd how do u punch somone behind u?im not cracking a joke can u explain I don't understand?

    • @jacobsierakowski8749
      @jacobsierakowski8749 5 років тому

      Will Key probably throwing your elbow back, I don’t really know how to explain. I guess like your standing still and you throw your elbow back to hit someone behind you without Turing your body around.

    • @noahstone1558

    Hey that's so awesome N I recently got into skimboarding and I realized how good I was I've only been into it 2 months and I can rip I would say I'm about 20 LOL and I just recently got into surfing it was always my passion the ocean but I never really got into it until now when the pandemic hit. I appreciate all the good information and stay blessed. I'm taking up photography soon so if you ever need a good photographer like drone flying and stuff that's what I'm going to be getting into I'm also a scuba diver freediver wakeboarder skateboarder skater and a lot of other things I help animals as well and people. Stay blessed everyone

    Hey nice vid mate! Just wondering what your thoughts are on the Jr raptor?I have had one of his boards for a few months now the cousin it model which was epic but i just snapped it and I'm wondering if the raptor might be even better for the waves we mainly surf up here on the sunshine coast qld, which is mainly waste to head high.
    peace!

      Thanks James, yeah both Kale and I have JR Raptors in Tri Flex (epoxy). We love them! Highly recommend getting one, you won't be disappointed. Our small wave video shows how well they go in small rubbish waves...

    hi can you guys make a video about how to place backfoot on the kick for the intermediates? Thanks

    • @pg5420
      @pg5420 4 роки тому

      Just try putting your foot on the tail? Once you see the benefit of it you'll keep doing it, just first break the habit of safety surfing in the more stable- but less dynamic - back foot up from the tail position

      Andrew Gray I’m guessing it was zinc sunscreen. I use bronzinc which is pretty good stuff, it’s pretty common in Australia. A mate of mine uses stuff called sun and earth.

    I can't help but feel that all of this is pointless, it's nothing but practice, as you practice, you get better, you learn to catch bigger waves, pop up fast, go down the line, turn, learn to use the wave as best you can, it seems it's 90% practice and living it, and 10% advice from pros...not even that.

    • @quimlima
      @quimlima 3 роки тому

      if you surf 90% practice and no advice, either youll take thrice the amount of time to progress, or learn it the wrong way. Kale’s content is free, awesome, it surely helps
