The comparison between the 1080p and the 2K cameras was very helpful. Paying more for a 2k is definately worth it.
I think so too ! 1080p defiantly shows its age

@DIY - AUTO & PHOTO looking forward to it. I just bought this exact model as well as a radar detector. Currently in the process of installing it. I can say this video made it easier for me. Had to order a multi meter just to be on the safe side before I complete. Wish me luck lol

Nice project, Stan! Who’s driving the turbo CR-V? Yes, the RDX is on the same backbone as the CR-V, except we never for the 2.3L turbo in the Honda, so that was the only turbo Acura we had from factory. Cool car!
Thank you Max! well its actually one of a family members car so I was able to talk them in into allowing me to work on it from time to time and make videos lol but they were very clear not to make any crazy upgrades and modifications like I did to my truck.. so I said Ok 😜😉

What fuse tap kit did you use and voltages?? Thanks
I just have sets of this type of fuses to use them when they fit and voltage on cars is 12v but the fuse was 10 amp I believe

Can you turn the camera display off? If not is it distracting at night?
Thank you very much! glad it helped . and yes you can set the display to different options to stay always on or turn off after "X" amount of time when the car is turned off
Do you know if the sun roof fuse is always on for mercedes c300 2014 too?

ooo Im sorry can't say for sure , but you should be able to see it on the fuse cover.. if it has Batt OR IGN or ACC next to it.. ?
If not see if you can open sunroof when the car is off .. if it works then its always active ( same goes for anything else. ) if it doesn't work then its not

Do you need to attach it to the fuses or can that be skipped
Not really, you can simply connect it to a sig port.. and it will work . but you won't have the parking function available. but it will work when truck is running and record traffic

In my humble opinion I think 2k + 2k is better option then 4k + 1080p now if you could find 4k + 2k that would be even better but thats just my opinion )

Does this dash cam tell if if parking mode got set off when you start ur car?
