- Here is the installation of my new Viofo A119 mini 2 dash cam for my truck. The install is simple and the video is great for a camera at this price point. This specific dash cam is just a forward facing camera but Viofo makes a camera for each one of your needs to make sure to check out their website and see what they have for your needs.

This is wild man, every time I look at something for my truck its like you read my mind and post a video about it lol. Bed cover, window vent shades, the console organizer and now a dash cam......you sure you're not a fed? Lmao
Your next mod is coming soon 🕵♂️😂
Have to disagree with not sticking to black dot matrix, I have had my camera on it for 5 years in hot zone. No issues.
Great Video. I cannot find the hardwire one though
Great video. You should make a video on how to make a UA-cam video. Right to the point. Great job.
I have owned the older version for 9 months and I love it. You get a much better image by installing the glare reducing lens. Be sure to remove the protective film cover from both the inside and outside of the glare reducer. Yes, I forgot the inside protective film, and it really makes the picture quality bad. Simply install it and forget it. It could save you a lot of insurance money if you could show fault by the other driver.
did that lens come with it?
@@Tundra_Guy The circular polarizing lens (CPL) is an option. There is the A119 Mini 2 camera and then Viofo offers 3 bundles. One bundle includes the dash cam and the CPL polarizing lens; it costs about $8 more. A second bundle includes the dash cam and the HK4 hardwire kit; it's about $11 more. A third bundle has the dash cam, the polarizing lens, and the hardwire kit; it's about $26 more.
Do you still like this camera? Also, does the screen stay on all the time? That would get annoying at night.
Actual fixing not shown. So much discussion on the location etc
You can see the location that he mounted it to the right of the mirror at about (10:25) in the video.
tilt the cam up a bit so your not showing the hood as much.
Where is the hardwire kit video?
Great video!
I went with redtiger and hardwiring kit i almost bought viofo not sure why i changed my mind
My blackvue is almost dead.
This one seems pretty good so far. We will swap yours out one of these days
@@CanadianCruisin iv noticed all these units tend to get fucked by the heat.
@@JAG6.7 time to tint the front windshield lol
@@CanadianCruisin tint them all “ pimp tint”
Yes it's good they don't have a battery but a capacitor at least can expose from the heat. I've had one for a few years early model 119 v3 still going strong but I will buy this and put on in the rear
