thanks, and yes I learned it at an early age back when I was a young kid growing up always carried it then and continue to now. back when I was like 10 or 12 years old.
Your bag is a condor, I have 2 of the same bags, 1 for me and 1 for my son. If I can make a suggestion is to put your extra clothes, socks, shemagh in zip lock bags to protect them dry in case of heavy rain. May want to add a means of sharpening your knives. Your not carrying any food? Stay safe
yes I have a dry bag for freeze dried food meals in storage that goes in my pack, and I have 3 dry bags that my clothing goes in to stay dry. and I have a wetstone and a tri sharpener that goes in my pack bottom pocket.
Nice kit. Now it's getting colder I'm adding small tent & cold weather sleeping bag. GI poncho & woobie not enough. Pounds add up and I ain't no spring chicken anymore.
thanks yeah during the winter I add a cold weather sleeping bag dont use my tent much anymore because I use a hammock but sometimes I pull the tent out to stay warmer.
mr johnny this channel will never get political its all about the outdoors and getting out and enjoying nature. hope you guys continue to come with me on my adventures.
How do you get a bug out bag like that. I am low-income and handicap and 61yrs.old. if I had a bag like that I'll be out side more, but I don't have a good reason to go out,but if want had one I would be outside. John E.May 100S.Moore St.Trafalgar In.46181. And my wife wants me to go outside and do things.
well John you honestly could make your own bug out bag/ day ruck using a school back pack purchased back in camping section of your local walmart for around $30 to $50 then use my amazon affiliate links in the description to purchase items you want. just buy a few items here and there as money allows. honestly thats how I started out.
roughly the pack I have built weighs about 35ish pounds not that heavy at all. its easily carried at least for me. I recommend building one to suit your own needs and then you can weigh it, and try carrying it on a hike or where you plan to go bug out or bug in, or camping etc.
it is a backpack you have at the ready incase of an emergency you can quickly grab and go with incase of ( tornado evacuation, hurricane, major flood, etc) AKA BUGOUT BAG!! that has all the gear, food, water, and clothing you need to get by for several days until you are able to get back home.
@@anthonygomez446 yup super easy to make just find a backpack to use or purchase one from amazon using my links in the descrption of this video. also use the links in the description of this video to purchase items it helps me and the channel grow if you do.

Smart DIY lantern you got there. Good idea to save some money instead of buying dedicated lantern. Thanks!

Good set up. Applaud you for actually carrying a shelter. Most think they can do without.

Try putting those ranger bands around the perimeter of those tins to waterproof them. Enjoyed your video so I subscribed, please don’t get political.
