I didn't know that buying Onewheel in Europe means that if after 4 weeks i discover the engine breaks because of factory defect I have literally no way of fixing the board for free using warranty.
@@maartenheikens1700 the amount of money you spend on an XR you really need to look into eucs electric unicycles you can all the same stuff as onewheel but go farther and faster. You don't know, until you own it... that you cannot service/replace OR disconnect and reconnect the battery and any attempt to do so will brick the device.
@@_c3a3m_88 Yup, and there's only one "point of service". The OEM factory (in the USA). If you de-couple the battery and then plug it right back in... you'll have to ship the entire device to them for "refurbishment".
I got the onewheel after losing over a hundred pounds. It was my reward to myself. I thought it would a fun thing to do, like a bike, or... a thing that sits in the garage and get used once a month. Golf clubs... Or something? Nah. I ride the thing every day. At lunch. After work. In 6 months I've put over 1600 miles on it. I've taken it a part, modified it, and made it my own. Learned how it works. I've explored trails. Parks. I've drove over 2 hours for meet ups and group rides. Its kept me outside and off the couch. I haven't played a video game or sat down before it's dark since I got it. At 40 years old, I thought I was passed the time in my life where I would try something completely out of my wheel house and embrace it to be point where it's a part of my daily rhythm, what I do, who my friends are, and changed how I see myself. I was never a skater, never a snowboarder or did any board sports. I just didn't think I could. The OW made me realize that I'm not too old to get moving. To fall down. To get back up. To be active, explore, and learn what you're capable of.
@@jamesflaherty4713yeah no way you, yourself, are responsible for a hundredth of the miles ridden by every single person who owns a one wheel. 100,000,000 miles ridden in total, mind you.
Got mine yesterday! Absolutely love it! I picked up a used pint for $600 with accessories included! At first I though the board was to wobbly but today I took it out to a huge empty car park and I can now make small turns on it and stop safely! The more I ride it I get a zen like feeling! Just the way you glide on it!
On a onewheel you will learn more about your neighborhood and city than you ever thought possible. Even when you’re in/on a vehicle you’ll be keeping an eye out for trails, nice sidewalks or cool spots to ride. It honestly does take the adventure level of your life up 100x. I ride a motorcycle and I constantly find myself thinking “dang, that’s a cool spot!” or “I wonder if this is within onewheel range instead of driving or riding..” You’ll spend hours on google maps checking out routes and paths, trying to see if there’s a sidewalk or shortcut you can take, and marking spots to come back and ride later! Another awesome thing is how freeing and calming it is on the mind. I love to ride my motorcycle late at night by myself, and riding my onewheel is the same sort of therapy. Just cruising around, blank mind and taking in the world and enjoying the moment. It really slows down life in a really nice way.
I've seen so many parks and trails that I would have otherwise missed if I'd never got my onewheel. The thing that's hard to explain is just how magical the experience is once you've bonded with your board, it turns routine tasks into mini adventures and everything is more fun.
With my Onewheel I noticed how it calms me down to drive through the empty streets at night after work. Lunch on a small ride with the Onewheel is also relaxing and gives you new energy for the day. In addition it's super helpful when shooting videos. It makes the video stable like never before. It also makes shopping easier. Why should I go by car when it can be a great commute with the onewheel. I can now get to my grandmother, who lives a town further away, without a problem.
When i bought my XR, I didn't realize the fun relationship that exists between skill level and enjoyment. Like many sports worth doing, the better one gets, the more the world opens up, and the more stoke there is to be had. Like skiing backcountry, it's more fun the longer you do it, and the more comfortable you get taking it everywhere and anywhere. Also, sneaking up on nature, undisturbed.
I didn’t realize on my flat farmland property that this would be the most fun way to not only take out the trash, but get from one side of the property to another without being upset about walking!! Big thanks on the pint I’m stoked
Same here. Little nooks and crannies in my neighborhood that I never new existed! Plus, I've found so many little adventurous short-cuts on my way to work.
One thing I didn’t know when I bought my first OneWheel was… I didn’t know it would bring me and my son so close and how many memories it would create for us….not to mention I didn’t know I’d own three within 9 months of buying my first one! Onewheel brought my family closer. (So much more to this story, but I’ll keep it simple)
I didn’t think I’d ride to 5000 miles in 1 year, and I thought I would have replaced more parts by now. I didn’t think it would inspire 5 of my friends to save up for onewheels either Hugely… I didn’t realize the onewheel was equivalent in cost to 75 Ubers🤯 That’s what I say when ppl ask me how much it costs, that or 30 gas tank fill ups if they drive
Something I didn’t know: I didn’t know a 12 mile commute could be fun and I never imagined myself not using my car for nearly a whole year. I would ride my OneWheel to work on 32 degree days and 100 degree days. Just totally changed my life. Embrace your community Future Motion. We love your product and the best way to beat out China is to foster the ride and work together on our designs.
@@7imbrook they are almost the same wrist guards I have. They need to be on the inside. The bulging thing is supposed to be on the inside of your hands to take the blow when you fall.
Had mine for almost 2 years now. I still get excitement twists and turns inside, every time I get ready for a ride….and I’m never disappointed. No one can describe the feeling of cruising, carving and pushing yourself that little bit further for the thrill of it. When you buy one, be prepared. You’ll never be the same again (in a good way!).
Playing the age card. I am 47. Skate boarded and snow boarded a shart ton when I was younger. Just didn’t realize until I got both of my + XR that it could be so easy and get me back outside doing what I love and being creative with every ride.
I originally got the Onewheel to just help me get from my apartment to my university. I realize now that I find any excuses to go out and ride my Onewheel once the homework is done. Riding downtown has never been so freeing
To much bad press concerning one wheels on youtube lately... coming from outside US I need some sot of confidence before I buy one. Rights to repair is very important since I cant be shipping out my one wheel every time my board has a problem. One wheel has to understand that there product has demand even outside of US and should know how to build confidence even in people outside of US. I think One Wheels are great product, just listen to the riders and sot there issues coz they are the ones who will refer more people to the product.
I did not realise that my Onewheel would become an integral part of my working day as a Broadcast cameraman here in Sweden! From rigging our cameras to setting up pitch side studios and as quick transport between camera positions! I am like a rolling advert for you guys in our stadiums, it is just a shame that only two places in the whole of Sweden sell the Onewheel. So they are still very rare here and we that ride them definitely stand out from the crowd of countless scooters.😀👍🏾🙏🏾
I have an EUC but I feel like we’re all in this together. OneWheelers in my area always wave back and seem happy to have us spot each other. ❤️ you guys
Just got my XR about a week ago. Actually, I’ve been watching vids since the zombie apocalypse started and finally got one… well to be honest my son’s elf on the shelf brought me one through their wishes of getting one for their dada. After all my research I figured I had all the angles down, (fun rides, rad commutes challenging learning curve). The one thing I didn’t realize is how much this thing is fully just brain soap. Yes brain soap. You go out in a ride, perhaps a little tense from whatever; and when you get back you feel…. Better. Much better. Thank you FM for the brain soap.
Scam alert if you unplug your battery on your onewheel you end up with a bricked onewheel The batterys are not now user replaceable or upgradable they are bricked in firmware not fun free this is a scam
I recently got a pint and I’ve been on a 15 day streak and put 52 miles on that shred master! I was so bored before I started my one wheel journey but now I’m finding the city is my playground!! Got to love the one wheel!
Euc for transportation, Onewheel is for fun. Owned both, sold Onewheel because after putting on 1000 miles it was worth the same ammount as when I bought it
Well for starters, I learned that my co-pay to the Urgent care Is only $25 bucks... That being said - Love it - I also learned that at 55, I am not to old to do some of the fun things that made being young such a great part of life. I may not be as fast or agile as these videos, but it is freeing to be cruising around on my new "Toy". Great Product...
My Onewheel got me to spend more time outside when I have free time. Feeling the wind flowing underneath my outstreched arms gives me a sense of flying on land, a truly unique experience!
I love exploring on my XR, I love finding empty parking lots, I love going on night rides, I love carving all through the suburban back streets in my town trying to find the smoothest paved road possible, then make note of it to come back. I love riding through parks, I love Onewheel
I had no idea the community would be so addicting to ride with. All the people I've met and new opportunities are truly one of a kind and my life is forever better. Seeing my drone shot in these videos just adds that much more satisfaction to the entire experience. Sick video, so relatable and well executed!
It connects you to strangers in the most wonderful way, the "did you make that?" or the gasps of "I've never seen anything like it!" and of course the kids yelling "Mommy mommy what is that!?!" when you come floating past is just so special, and even more so when you stop and interact with them. PS: I'm not that Kenneth, although my heart stopped when the video went "Just ask Kenneth" 🤣
It's my magic carpet that gets me everywhere I want, my travel assistent, my funmachine, my stoke capcitor. I love Onewheel! BUT without my extended Battery and my VNR (external Battery) I would only be able to experience one third of this floatlife. Future Motion (the company behind Onewheel) further and further tries to lockout this extentions and sues every company that creates workaround (just today we heard of them taking JW Battery to the court). WHY? Probably because of meanness? because of avariance? No, no, no ... because they feel it impounds their intellectual property... that's a joke guys. I mean, what's so diffucult about it?? Either bring your own extended battery and external Battery or leave this task for anyone else. #fixfuturemotion #nooffense #onewheelonelove
It's kinda like......spending a lot of money on a 'premium' product then getting screwed over by the same companies awful repair and parts policies (under the guise of safety, which is BS considering they post videos of people doing handstands riding on their products in the middle of the street). Wouldn't purchase anything from a company with practice like this.
That burm shown at 2:30 is the type of thing that I just love to spot and break for it on impulse and get that rush as I plow through it! I'm 51 and I still tear it up. It scares my wife to see me launching off curbs while hauling ass or go flying off trail around the slow people in the way. Once we got our onewheels we never took our bikes out again and I have 10,000 miles so far. I just ordered a GT because I can't get enough speed and acceleration!
What I didn't know: Is that it makes you forget about everything going on in your life. You forget about the time. You forget about the problems. You're just in the moment and its so refreshing.
@@quantumtechcrypto7080 I think the XR is trash with the pushback (I am the low 1% that thinks so). I'd rather have a more aggressive pushback so I at least know/feel when I'm pushing the limits. Instead of just trashing my body to the ground wondering why I didn't feel pushback xD.
My XR has been the best for getting around college. I love shredding the mulch around trees and going up and down banks. Makes me feel like I'm surfing to class. Almost at 1000 miles!! Shred on!
It's not allowed to drive it on the streets or pavements so i am cruising offroad/trail only. I've been to places i haven't seen since the late 90's. love it!
I bought my 1st Onewheel to relieve a little stress. 2 months later, I became a OneWheel retailer in Charlotte, NC. 2 years later, I've now sold hundreds of boards and accessories to so many different kinds of people, it's been amazing! I even wrapped one of my trucks in Onewheel/ V-12 Motorsports ads and the response has been incredible!
How addictive it is-- Already put in over 100 miles in my first week and just finished my first group ride today. Got to shred good dirt for the first time, too; I think it's time to hit the trails 😎
For me, an unexpected realization is the therapeutic advantages it has. Through the pandemic and family and job changes the past few years have brought, I found myself turning to my XR for therapy. I could just float and not worry. I found it helped me to process during the crazy freeing feeling of flying. You become one with your board, and you find yourself looking at the world from a different lens. The money I spent on my XR has paid for itself several times over just from the therapeutic aspect alone! Thanks OneWheel and Future Motion!!!
I did realise how much of my local area was there to explore. The world becomes smaller and larger at the same time! I genuinely feel happier when I'm gently carving late a night. 700 miles in now and I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT IT!
i used to walk to work everyday and sometimes i would dread it because it seemed like a task, but with a onewheel i feel like its part of my daily routine, i also have been loving the accessories for onewheels, so far i have fangs 2.0 a maghandle pro and the stopper for the charge port, i am going to attempt to waterproof my onewheel next so that i can ride it in the rain no problem, you guys rock Onewheel!
Onewheel helped me realize how much unexplored stuff there is to hit. Driving by a spot everyday, I didn’t even realize it existed until I came across it on a Onewheel, so it helped me get out of the house (being a teen in quarantine isn’t ideal lol) and it helped my mental well-being and helped me make so many new friends
Got my Pint last month. Honestly, it makes me really want to go outside with it. It gives me this really good feeling during and after my rides. I used to stay at home for days and be content with playing games and watching TV. Now I really have what to look forward to when going outside. ALSO, I ask my friends to go out more because I want more excuses to ride it (Even though I dont need an excuse, its just awesome)
Great vid! Im a new Onewheel Pint rider. 3 days in. 15 miles. Its special. Its fun. Most of all...its freeing. Its hard to explain but you sort of disconnect with all the normal stuff rattling around in your head and just enjoy the sensation of drifting a few inches above the ground. Never felt anything like it. Thanks team!!!!!!
Have loved my pint from the day I bought it, I have low back disability though and it was hurting it more unfortunately so I had to switch to a suspension EUC (electric unicycle) and it’s so amazing for what it’s good at but nothing can take the place of a one wheel and I feel obligated to say that because it’s a great way to shred and have fun during the journey and half the fun is getting there 🤙🌅 Thanks one wheel team!! Keep rocking and improving!!!
I own a Onewheel XR & as he said…you don’t truly know what you’re missing till you step on for the very first time. Freeing is just one of the many gnarly words associated with Onewheel 💫🤙🏽 -Chris from Seattle, wa 🌞
I made a video reviewing it on my review channel, but in short, I didn't realize how much pure joy there is in going up hill. It seems so small a thing, but I LOVE going up hill. The first time I did it I was laughing so hard to myself that I'm pretty sure the passing cars all thought I was completely insane. (Include a fender, even if it's a flexible one, Future Motion, come on!) ;)
Ok I’m going to be honest. I didn’t realise the board actually disappears. Not kidding. Before I got a Onewheel I’d watched so many freaking videos of other people riding and looking super rad and chilled. But when I started to ride after a few weeks I realised I had hardly even looked at the board when I was riding (makes sense right?) But it made me realise that the board literally disappears and when I ride it just feels like me floating around and the open air and a feeling of contentment 😀 that’s my take
It took me faceplanting on a rental to decide I wanted one, as weird as it is the raw experience of it drew me in, reminded me how a surfboard or a snowboard doesn’t limit you but also won’t save you when you screw up
I watched video after video both before AND after getting my onewheel... and what I didn't realize was how social that board makes everybody! Kids, parents, grandparents turn their heads, talk to you, ask you questions, starting with the board then it just becomes natural conversation where the OneWheel was the main conversation starter. I just never realized how social this single, amazing piece of electric transportation technology could be! Every time I get the stoke and float out, someone smiles, gives a thumbs up, goes 'It's so cool!' or even kids in parks go 'Woah! A OneWheel!'. Thanks to the app, I know I don't own the only OW in the neighbourhood or even the city! We have nice floats with the gang from time to time, and I somewhat expected THAT social aspect.. just not the other side of all those great people who are both amazed, curious and a pleasure to talk to :)
I didn’t realize how genuinely awesome the community is. People from this awesome community are always helping each other out just because it’s the decent thing to do with no agenda. It’s amazing to have friends all around the world talking to each other about how to spread stoke and happiness.
I didn’t know that adventures could be close to home :)) until I owned a Onewheel the amount of terrain and cool things I have been able to see and experience with my friend while one wheeling couldn’t have been done on any other rideable
Exploring my new area, I've recently moved and commute for work so I just drove through my new town and miss all the hidden gems! Now I have my onewheel, It has encouraged me to explore and shred lots of sweet spots around my new home! Thank you Onewheel!
I own 2 of them straight from future motion, but the main thing for me is their massive practicality, I can almost substitute my truck with one of my onewheels for my 10 mile commute.
It really opened me up to my own neighborhood as well as other parks I'd never been to but aren't a long drive from my home. It's a cool way to explore metro cities, too! I've been on solo and group rides through Minneapolis, MN.
I’ve been skydiving for the past 25 years… after thousands and thousands of jumps Onewheel was the only thing that brought me a similar level of fun and freeing feeling. I rode and drove pretty much everything that goes into water, air and land. I definitely like flying better than riding… but there’s one thing I really enjoyed riding on the ground, and it is the Onewheel.
Take care of your existing customers. A vast majority have had bad experience with customer service. Show you care about them as much as you care about acquiring new customers. I have a Onewheel XR that will not turn on and is out of warranty. I swapped all parts back to stock and sent in as the customer service rep asked. I was told I could pay to have the board fixed. Then I was told you refuse to work on it because it has Motor and Cable modifications. It does not and when asked to specify what modifications you were referring to you would not. Your company does not sell the parts we need to fix our boards yet you refuse to fix them for us even at a cost. Therefore you leave us with a onewheel that does not operate and lose a customer if we do not buy another. How is this okay by your standards? Why would anyone not be allowed to modify their board if it is out of warranty and willing to pay for repairs? Simple modifications such as footpads, tires, rim protectors and battery Guages help provide greater safety and rideability. It makes no sense for you to leave a customer dead in the water that is asking to pay you to fix their board with the needed internal parts that you are not willing to sell separate.
Good points. And when this company goes out of business everyone is out because all batteries eventually go bad and you can't fix it. Look at BionX electric bicycle kits the company went out of business and their kits are junk because the batteries are all dead now.
Was looking into buy 2, for myself and son. What's holding me back is the lack of serviceability, repair shops handicapped without access to OEM parts. Not a good model for for consumer reliability and trust. Also have seen tons of ghosting boards, not many issues of battery fires.
Onewheel has made me more connected to my community. Before all the errands were in a car hidden by steel and glass. Now I am in the open. Talking to actual people learning the ends and outs of others in my community. I notice more and appreciate more. 1700 miles so far and 95% is spent on the same streets and sidewalks that I live on in my small town. I love what it has done for me. Spending 30 to 45 minutes daily in a mental and physical ZEN state of being can not be overlooked as a minor change.
I had no idea how riding my onewheel would melt the stress and anxiety of the day away. Living in the moment, carving and flow with good music is medicine for my soul. Live well, live now!
Myself and 3 friends were just about to purchase these, then we read the comments about how they brick easily. Additionally, if your onewheel breaks (which it does often) there is only one place in the U.S. that can fix it. Onewheel did this on purpose... for more money. Not to mention there is am embargo on shipping a onewheel because it's labeled under the fedex category "dangerous goods". So if it breaks or the battery goes out (which it will), you're fucked. Stop buying these until the company stops being greedy fucks and allows customers to fix their onewheel themselves or via a local shop. Did I mention, the company will sue any other company who tries to develop new batteries or way to fix a broken onewheel?
You never want to stop riding. Mine gets me to surf breaks nobody would ever walk to. It handles sand if you air down. I’ve slammed some muddy stairs/trails and kinda lost it off a cliff, and it survived. It’s also great practice for hydrofoiling.
I have an XR and a Pint, both preordered when they were announced. I can’t believe they haven’t released a new model with a stronger battery and motor and upgraded electronics. They are way overdue. I hope it doesn’t become another boosted board fatality.
First it felt as big price to pay even for my pint and then 4000km later I own a pint and an xr and I will remain an onewheel rider as long as I can stand still. It's just pure magic for your soul.
I realized how a one wheel is able to take hills and mountains. with mtn bikes! the top speed doesn’t need to be faster when on technical terrain and I think it’s a good balance of power and ability even if the speed or millage isn’t high but that would be nice one day to accomplish for the one wheel team! Keep rocking! Much love
Before owning a onewheel I didn’t realize… …how excruciating and stressful it is to always having to watch your back during every ride. Looking out for policemen who can fine you and impound your board everywhere you ride on public road. Onewheel is illegal in the Netherlands and it’s the worst: attaining a great tool for all of the mentioned reasons and then being afraid of using it every meter you ride
When I turned 16 I got my first car. It killed skateboarding for me. I bought a car for about the same amount of money I would have spent on a nice skateboard. I can't do as many tricks on my car, but it opens the world up more.
Easy question... OFF ROAD! If I had known I'd be hitting up all the MTB trails around Boulder, I certainly would have gotten one sooner! Feels like riding powder!
2:32 so I used to skateboard. And everything I see outside is something that can be used for something as an obstacle and the world basically becomes your playground. So I completely get this idea. With the one wheel being more versatile and can go on different terrains. Can only imagine what else is out there to see!
For me, the Onewheel is the only piece of "tech" I own that makes the outdoors more interesting. Unlike pretty much any other gadget, when I ride my XR I feel alive and healthy - and for someone who spends 8+ hours a day in front of a screen for work, that is a piece of tech WELL worth having.
I didn’t realize you can wear triple8 wrist guards on the wrong hand and upside down... but there’s Kenneth doing just that.. right there on the video. Poor cinnamon roll ate the pavement and sweet burn carve

.Hands Down #1 Reason. CONVERSATION with my kids. My son started a power washing business at 12 yrs old. Bought a wheel. His twin sister joined the effort and got one too. I felt left out, now we have 3… Hundreds of miles later we have had some of the most meaningful and impactful conversations yet. The best advice I can give is ‘date’ your kids. One on one time is so important and our wheels are a way to make that happen!
Scam company. They don't let you or anyone else besides them fix or even just replace the battery in YOUR ONEWHEEL. IF YOU TRY TO YOUR SELF ITS BRICKED IT HAS TO BE SENT BACK. If they go out of buisness your money is lost and your left with usless junk! It doesn't have to be like this their older models were NOT LIKE THIS. Many of you have cars and trucks and you can or choose to take it somewhere besides the DEALER to be fixed. Many auto parts stores will replace your car battery for free if you buy it from them. ONEWHEEL FORCES YOU TO USE ONLY THEIR 1 AND ONLY SERVICE CENTER. My comment has been screenshoted and if removed. I will post the evidence of it being removed on social media. And it will be used as proof of shady practices.

Another awesome thing is how freeing and calming it is on the mind. I love to ride my motorcycle late at night by myself, and riding my onewheel is the same sort of therapy. I've seen so many parks and trails that I would have otherwise missed if I'd never got my onewheel. The thing that's hard to explain is just how magical the experience is once you've bonded with your board, it turns routine tasks into mini adventures and everything is more fun.
Please shut up about it
I agree
Agreed! Something to keep in mind as well is to wear a safe helmet since they go very fast, the best are xnito, bern hudson, or a full face helmet
I realised how fun it is to explore parks and cities around where I live, I never even considered exploring these places before owning a Onewheel
Same here. Little nooks and crannies in my neighborhood that I never new existed! Plus, I've found so many little adventurous short-cuts on my way to work.
Totally... so many places I never thought of stopping by.
I want one so bad but I'd get shot AND stabbed for it in my city
Bro can you help me buy one from the store
They can survive being dropped off a 45m tower 😅
When is that video coming or did I miss one?
Can’t wait for a video for it!
lmao this got a good laugh

One thing I didn’t know when I bought my first OneWheel was… I didn’t know it would bring me and my son so close and how many memories it would create for us….not to mention I didn’t know I’d own three within 9 months of buying my first one! Onewheel brought my family closer. (So much more to this story, but I’ll keep it simple)
I didn’t think I’d ride to 5000 miles in 1 year, and I thought I would have replaced more parts by now.
I didn’t think it would inspire 5 of my friends to save up for onewheels either
Hugely…
I didn’t realize the onewheel was equivalent in cost to 75 Ubers🤯
That’s what I say when ppl ask me how much it costs, that or 30 gas tank fill ups if they drive
Something I didn’t know:
I didn’t know a 12 mile commute could be fun and I never imagined myself not using my car for nearly a whole year. I would ride my OneWheel to work on 32 degree days and 100 degree days. Just totally changed my life. Embrace your community Future Motion. We love your product and the best way to beat out China is to foster the ride and work together on our designs.
It’s sad that MagWheel is being advertised right below this.
Kenneth has his wrist guards on backwards
They're springs to help stabilize the wrist.
@@7imbrook they are almost the same wrist guards I have. They need to be on the inside. The bulging thing is supposed to be on the inside of your hands to take the blow when you fall.
"Kenneth has his wrist guards on backwards" - yep I noticed that too!
That’s too funny 🤣
LULZ
Had mine for almost 2 years now. I still get excitement twists and turns inside, every time I get ready for a ride….and I’m never disappointed. No one can describe the feeling of cruising, carving and pushing yourself that little bit further for the thrill of it.
When you buy one, be prepared. You’ll never be the same again (in a good way!).
That's what happened the first time I rode powder - I was never the same.
My onewheel kept me sane during the pandemic. One thing I didn’t realize is just how amazing my neighborhood is for great lines and routes!
I have an EUC but I feel like we’re all in this together. OneWheelers in my area always wave back and seem happy to have us spot each other. ❤️ you guys
❤ you too
I lost my foot a couple years back and onewheel has allowed me to experience trails and hiking again
How useful it would be as a means of transportation. 🤙🤙
I use it as a car in LA.
@@AndroidSpirit it is kinda like a personal car
Euc for transportation, Onewheel is for fun. Owned both, sold Onewheel because after putting on 1000 miles it was worth the same ammount as when I bought it
@@Mishka1012 i think they are both fun and for transportation.
useful for short trips. Until one wheels get a much larger battery/power EUCs are the ultimate PEV means of transportation.
I didn't know my one wheel bricks itself if I change the battery.
Well you know now
Well for starters, I learned that my co-pay to the Urgent care Is only $25 bucks...
And this video is launched on my birthday! So dope
Rossman says the battery is not replaceable. Is this true ?
This!!!
Agreed until the nose dives then it comes rushing back lol
@@quantumtechcrypto7080 I think the XR is trash with the pushback (I am the low 1% that thinks so). I'd rather have a more aggressive pushback so I at least know/feel when I'm pushing the limits. Instead of just trashing my body to the ground wondering why I didn't feel pushback xD.
Great video. I’m glad I owned a XR for almost 2 years. Best thing I ever had. I feel freedom with it.
RIGHTS TO REPAIR
You meet so many people that have no idea what it is and it becomes a great conversation starter
I didn’t know how incredibly happy it would make me. Like, the endorphins just flow.
My XR has been the best for getting around college. I love shredding the mulch around trees and going up and down banks. Makes me feel like I'm surfing to class. Almost at 1000 miles!! Shred on!
what you can't do with your Onewheel is fix it
Agreed.
I saw Wren from corridor replace its tyre with a normal threaded tyre 🤔
It's not allowed to drive it on the streets or pavements so i am cruising offroad/trail only. I've been to places i haven't seen since the late 90's.
love it!
I bought my 1st Onewheel to relieve a little stress. 2 months later, I became a OneWheel retailer in Charlotte, NC. 2 years later, I've now sold hundreds of boards and accessories to so many different kinds of people, it's been amazing! I even wrapped one of my trucks in Onewheel/ V-12 Motorsports ads and the response has been incredible!
I did not expect that i would be a addiction, you crave and then you carve .
Absolue love
Thanks Futur Motion.
I didn't realize changing the tire voids the warranty!
Still rocking my OW+. It's how I commute and I absolutely love it.
When you find out you can't repair the thing yourself lol
How much you engage with people and explain about the board . ....I am forever stopping to talk to people about it.. much love from the UK
How addictive it is--
Already put in over 100 miles in my first week and just finished my first group ride today. Got to shred good dirt for the first time, too; I think it's time to hit the trails 😎
487 miles now lol
For me, an unexpected realization is the therapeutic advantages it has. Through the pandemic and family and job changes the past few years have brought, I found myself turning to my XR for therapy. I could just float and not worry. I found it helped me to process during the crazy freeing feeling of flying. You become one with your board, and you find yourself looking at the world from a different lens. The money I spent on my XR has paid for itself several times over just from the therapeutic aspect alone! Thanks OneWheel and Future Motion!!!
That it is almost impossible for the end user to replace the battery on their device rendering a $2000 product useless once the battery dies 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Bro where did you buy one

I didn’t realize how many amazing spots there are around where I live that I otherwise may have never traveled to with my car. I freakin love my pint!
Update: I love my pint so much I decided to get an XR to be able to ride around with my brother and share the stoke❤️
Have loved my pint from the day I bought it, I have low back disability though and it was hurting it more unfortunately so I had to switch to a suspension EUC (electric unicycle) and it’s so amazing for what it’s good at but nothing can take the place of a one wheel and I feel obligated to say that because it’s a great way to shred and have fun during the journey and half the fun is getting there 🤙🌅
Thanks one wheel team!! Keep rocking and improving!!!
I didn't realize how relaxing it would be to ride! Its awesome just to ride and carve and not think about a single thing.
But when I started to ride after a few weeks I realised I had hardly even looked at the board when I was riding (makes sense right?)
But it made me realise that the board literally disappears and when I ride it just feels like me floating around and the open air and a feeling of contentment 😀
that’s my take
You don't know how they will fuck you over untill you buy a one wheel.
We have nice floats with the gang from time to time, and I somewhat expected THAT social aspect.. just not the other side of all those great people who are both amazed, curious and a pleasure to talk to :)
this! even on a short trip some ask me what this is and we talk.
I discovered that i can push my kids dual stroller and take them on longer further , faster adventures. They LOVE it... I buckle them in LOL.
I didn't realize how bad whiping out at 19mph on gravel felt but totally worth it 🙌🙌
They brick themselves if you unplug your battery.
Glad you love it!
Couldn't agree more !🙌
Myself and 3 friends were just about to purchase these, then we read the comments about how they brick easily.
I've been holding off for more range also. Been playing with different electric boards while I wait. All are so much fun.
that exact reason is why I got an euc. Such a different device and just as fun.
@@SeanOzz I really do love my XR and Pint though! I’ve taught most of my friends how to ride them.
First it felt as big price to pay even for my pint and then 4000km later I own a pint and an xr and I will remain an onewheel rider as long as I can stand still. It's just pure magic for your soul.
One thing I realized is they are produced very cheaply and way overpriced. Non serviceable although they break quite easily.
Much love
Before owning a onewheel I didn’t realize…
…how excruciating and stressful it is to always having to watch your back during every ride.
I didn’t realize you can wear triple8 wrist guards on the wrong hand and upside down... but there’s Kenneth doing just that.. right there on the video.

with my kids.
I didn't realize it does NOT come with a fender, charge port cover, and fangs.
Those should be built in, especially the fangs, for safety.
