Better advice would be to first try simply restarting the game. That fixed it for me and reportedly fixed it for many, too. Edit: removed a repeated word.
Probably a mix of both of those with a smattering of sleep deprivation (and actor training). Hard to get stage fright when you don't even remember what stage fright is

if you are non steam it doesnt help the meshes are still weird and bumpy? not sure what I can do
Is there a way to check the game files from the platform you downloaded it? I am sadly unfamiliar with other platforms, like GOG
