    Introduced to John McCormack's voice back in 1942 by my Grandfather, who passed on a year later. Love them both still!

    Thanks for posting this, it is pure magic. I have always listened to John McCormack singing, but never knew that there was film of him singing. His voice will never be bettered by any singer. How I wish that he were recording now with today's technology.
    I think this song should be our national anthem.

    Introduced to John McCormack tonight because of mention about him on John McDermott Danny Boy page. Glad I did. Mr. McCormack's voice still powerful and moving almost 100 years later. His talents even overcome the inferior audio technology of "the old days".
