    Letters From The Big Man, I finally found it. The movie that had a LEGIT Sasquatch that didn't kill but was curious.
    There's a lack of Bigfoot films that show the peaceful side of the mysterious animal and instead focus more on a hostile and dangerous Sasquatch.

    • @ryanwahlberg5283
      @ryanwahlberg5283 5 місяців тому

      Yeah i guess Bigfoot movies like harry and the Hendersons and Bigfoot 2009 don't count

    • @kaijuar2003
      @kaijuar2003 5 місяців тому

      @ryanwahlberg5283 I love Harry and the Henderson, just saw it yesterday on Tubi with my youngest sibling. However, there is no way it fits into what I was referring to regarding the actual behaviors of Sasquatch and is more of a comedy for family.
      Bigfoot 2009? I can't say much since I haven't seen it.
      Edit: I'll edit my comment right after I watch Bigfoot 2009.
      Edit 2: OK, I just saw Bigfoot 2009. And my god, it's similar to Harry and the Hendersons. The suit is based off the one used in HATH as it has a mix of anger and peacefulness in it. However, much like HATH, it DOESN'T meet the criteria I am referring to. Letters From The Big Man has something I LOVED about it and is accurate to the portrayal of Sasquatch, it treats it like a peaceful giant who isn't out for blood and at times TRIES to communicate with humans in its way. In actual reports, peaceful Sasquatches watch people and make themselves known and expose themselves, at a distance of course, they even visit some houses but not to intimidate or show aggression, they've been known to leave things for the eyewitnesses to find/see which is exactly what we see in LFTBM (Letters From The Big Man). Harry and Bigfoot 2009are masterpieces in that they are family friendly and make Sasquatch a loveable character, while Letters From The Big Man is gold as it portrays Sasquatch as a more docile being that tries to communicate with people and is based on behavior eyewitnesses report 95-98% of the time.

I loved ALL the characters in the story, especially Lily Rabe....who was tough and vulnerable at the same time........I've begun to seek out other movies with Fiona Dourif as I thought she was very memorable in a small role. Also, thank you for the info and link to FULL MOON/EMPIRE BOX SETS of their PUPPETMASTER SERIES and EMPIRES BLUE RAY COLLECTION and THE JESS FRANCO COLLECTION........ALL were worth the money! That fish sex movie, is basically an exact “artsy” remake of our childhoods fish sex movie; Splash.
      If you look deeply into it, they just changed the time period, the sexes, the lighting, and the tone. It has almost the exact same main plot points as Splash.

    It's not very often - read 'this is the first time' - that I go and hunt something down just on the strength of a UA-cam review. But I did. I finished this film about half an hour ago and for a movie where very little happens, I found it transfixing. If anything, GoodBadFlicks understates just how good it is, rather than overstates. However, you are going to need to switch on both your imagination and your intelligence to enjoy it.

    Nice work, the film intrigues me and I'd like to check it out. I don't think enough people are talking about the excellent creature effects with the suit. Probably the most realistic I've ever seen and the film didn't even have a big budget. Unfortunately this probably means that pretty soon fraudsters will be creating much more convincing sasquatch videos.

And he was going up against bigfoot in a cat and mouse survival sort of way in the wilderness. I loved Harry and the Henderson's as a child, it was one of my parents' earliest vhs purchases, but it's hard to take something like this seriously, like imagining a serious live action movie about a middle-aged Brony stumbling across twilight sparkle in a hike through Yosemite. There just arent any thing as a Sasquatch in North America. At best, there were Gigantopithecus in China and india 15000 years ago. Maybe a small population in the Himalayas, though it seems unlikely. I'm going to give it a try though, because I so loved Harry and desperately wanted to find one to be my friend.

    Watching this video makes me think that he went in the way of "Harry and the Hendersons" without all the wacky comedy attached to it. It seems like more of a real interaction with Bigfoot and how he might actually be vs the fake always out to kill u kind of interaction with an unknown wildlife. I'm going to certainly give this movie a try and I think I will love it for the feel of loving the unknown creature vs just thinking it's hostile cuz more then likely that's how he would really be a scared quiet misunderstood creature like a big grizzly bear would be in the wild. I cant wait to watch this movie now thank u for making this vid about it.

      It is I've never heard of a movie like that and makes u really think that maybe Bigfoot is really like that a misunderstood creature that we should be respecting and not just trying to manhunt the poor misunderstood beast. I say just leave the big guy alone to live free instead of banking on him. Thank u for the reply by the way I love your vids and I'm still binge watching them till i have seen them all which for me it's a good thing that u have been doing this channel for a long time now so I can have so much to watch. I even turned my ol' man on to your channel so he can sub and watch your vids also cuz u should have way more subs so I'm going to go on my Facebook and notify all my friends to watch and sub to ur channel cuz it's just too good of a channel to pass up.

    PUH-LEEZE take a look at a film called "summer school". Its a veeeery low budget horror anthology film that centers around a kid falling asleep in summer school and waking up to various horror scenarios. Got it as part of a "1 for 20" dvd pack 5 years ago and just found it again.

      Tiger Blake I've never been a fan of their bodies of work, their voices grate on me and their opinions are pedestrian, especially YMS proclaiming Blade Runner 2049 is superior to the original Blade Runner pffft not by a long shot, it failed as a sequel in every way possible, namely due it being a direct sequel which it should never have done in the first place and he gives artsy fartsy films a free pass when they can be equally as dog shit as the blockbusters. But if you enjoy their works then more power to you, they are simply not my cup of tea.

    The Patty footage has NOT been officially PROVEN to be a hoax... But on the other hand,, they can't prove it's REAL either.

      It’s impossible for a number of things in the film to have been faked in 1967, so, for all intents and purposes, it has been proven real. There’s a great 10+ hour six part podcast that interviews film and costume experts, Bob Gimlin, and even covers books that claim it’s a hoax.

      @@sarlaccstapeworm990 I live in BC and I know two separate people who’ve seen one. I trust them. They were both scared but just from seeing it, not anything else. I’ve hiked and camped in the wilderness here for decades and had nothing ever happen, but that doesn’t make me doubt them.

      @@BlackGuardXIII I believe it too (honestly)... Like you,, I've never seen anything up close & personal. But I've heard some REALLY strange things out in the middle of nowhere. Not JUST animal calls that I couldn't even BEGIN to identify (and for as long as I've been hunting/hiking/camping, I've heard EVERY animal native to here)... But I've heard things like HUGE granite boulders sliding around together. I mean boulders as big as a (big) TRUCK! As if it were an entryway stone being moved against a cave wall, or some kind of HUGE boulders sliding around together beneath the ground. I can't explain it,, but I've heard some really "different" kinds of sounds out there. I don't believe that these people are lying,, and I don't believe that they're "crazy" either! I would like to know one day what it was that I've heard,, but a part of me believes that I don't TRULY want to find out. At least, not by running into it!
