You can get the dagger off a body in the golden city place, it's in front of one of the cripple fire giants

get both to dual wield scales with strength and faith, they are the second most pwerful daggers in game when maxed, the crystal daggers are the highest damage in the game for physical attack, plus they due magic damage so worth looking into if your a mage strength build although dex/mage would be better

the dagger isn’t that great. i haven’t upgraded it so maybe it gets better with that. i used it briefly but i’m a str/end build so maybe a dex or int/arc would like it better

So it's pointless to kill him... Those daggers are common drops and you don't need the Golden Seed... More than can be used are provided, and past that point nothing can be done with them...
