If you asked me a week ago, I'd definitely surprised that Investigations 1 is ranked as high as it is (especially since you love Apollo). HOWEVER, after editing old Investigations 1 content for my own channel, I realized that even though the script isn't the best, the character dynamics and lack of a massive connecting story is actually extremely refreshing!

Fuck yeah! AJ finally getting the “Justice” it deserves! AJ really grabbed me with its visuals, music and characters. Apollo, Trucy, Klavier and all of their themes, tracks and rock ballads got me totally pumped for the court cases where I’d get to see their banter together. I’ll admit that I find 4-4 to be the weakest conclusion of the first 4 games, but I also feel that Apollos story wasn’t the one that needed concluding! That part comes later!
Yes, I've always thought it's kind of ironic that the end of Apollo's game is more about Phoenix while the end of the two Phoenix games after that are more about Apollo. 😅 But thank you for commenting! Always nice to meet another AJ appreciator. ❤️
Simple as it is, this video was a banger. Fire Emblem and Ace Attorney are my two favorite video game franchises of all time, so I immediately subbed after watching this video, and though I really don't like FE Heroes, I am checking out your previous content out of curiosity. Fire Emblem discourse never gets boring in my opinion, even though the new games (everything after New Mystery of the Emblem) just aren't for me. Speaking of games that aren't for me, I was shocked to hear you point out that some people are divided on GK2 (Prosecutor's Path), because I genuinely thought I was the only one who outright despised it. Love your Matthew profile pic! I still remember his wonderful personality permeating through the Tutorial he gave on Chapter Preparation in Lyn's route.

Really great list! You raised a lot of good points I hadn't thought about. PLvPW not having well timed music cues is a great point, it's such a small thing that makes a big difference in the games. Also great point on chronicles 1 having heaps of trials just needing pressing, Resolve handled this much better and was glad to see it ranked high. Enjoyed hearing about AJ being #1, it is often overlooked far too much and people rely on the hobo phoenix argument way too much ignoring the game having some really solid cases

Apollo: Sage because of his connection to the Grammarye family. Athena: Hero feels like it fits her high energy. Ryonosuke: Sniper. Not really sure why, though. Mia: Druid because of her place as a member of the Fey family.
