Just one old guy to another… I found many ultrasonic jewelry cleaners at the Salvation Army / Goodwill / Thrift Stores , some for as little as $5. Some worked better than others but all worked good enough for me until I happened upon a real cleaner. I Still use it for the cases and bracelets…. Good luck! (I find many watches there also)
There are jewel pushers available used that are round and have many different sized pushers in a wheel. They look similar to a bench key with all the different sizes. They are usually under $25 used. This is used to remove jewels in a screw setting like you have and not for more modern friction jewels. (For friction jewels you would need a Seitz or Horia tool.) It looks like you are making great progress! (I have a machine but still have to scrape away built up grease and oil using pegwood too).
It's so awful when it slips. If I had been *slightly* more thoughtful/patient/relaxed/slow, that tiny scratch on the bridge wouldn't be there. An ounce of prevention, something something...

I responded to this but UA-cam lost it. Weird.
An ultrasonic cleaner is on my shopping list for January!
