    INFORMATION ABOUT CIRS:
I mentioned Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) in the video and how exposure to toxins (when combined with a genetic predisposition) can make it much harder for people to get relief from symptoms, even following a Carnivore Diet. If you aren’t healing and feeling MUCH better after six months of eating this way, I would encourage you to look into other possible causes.
A quick intro to CIRS: chriskresser.com/5-things-you-...

How to test your home for mold exposure: www.envirobiomics.com/product/...
One way to order the CIRS labwork: www.nutritionwithjudy.com/shop...
If you think you have CIRS, but you aren’t able to afford the treatments, eating a carnivore diet while also getting extra sun exposure and eating omega 3s (seafood!) does help some people to feel relief from symptoms. Removing yourself from an environment with mold and avoiding excess environmental and dietary toxins is never a bad idea, but I know it’s not always an easy fix. And if none of that gets your symptoms to go away, PLEASE know that there are ways to make the Shoemaker protocol more doable. THERE IS HOPE, and you don't have to be a millionaire to find healing by using this protocol. ❤

I don't have a photo of my own belly prior to losing 120 pounds, because I would have been mortified to take the photo. I did want to be transparent, though, and make sure no one thought that was me.

I needed this today ! My doctor just told me to eat 3 meals with 50 carbs each and 2 snacks with 25 carbs each ! All of the really dangerous carbs ... I asked what my a1c level & my fasting insulin , she straight faced said we don't need to check them ... WHAT ?! but wanted me to start a pill and in 1 month wants to put me on insulin if my readings don't come down.... I told her I'm going to follow my own plan and if I can prove her wrong, she has to do research on the newest study's on low carb, keto and carnivore diets .... I can't wait to hear her excuses of why their all so bad ...

@@myzerocarblife what about grief? I have had so much stress and anxiety trying to save my son from cancer for 7 years. He died in late last year and I'm so broken down over his passing. My hair was falling out a few months before he died, I had really bad sleep and eating. I never over ate. I have always been an omad type of person without trying. In saying that it wasn't a huge meal either. I have never been a big eater. I did enjoy a bag of chips and a soda in the evening: but not every day. But after my son died I finally got on the scales and I was 307lbs 😞. I knew I had to start now to help heal my body and hair to grow back. I have been on it now 2 months and it's been a yo-yo up and down on the scale. I am now getting inflammation in my hands and feet a lot when I never had it before. Usually at night time while I sleep, which wakes me up. But dissappears as I pee it out during the day. I don't know if my electrolytes are off. I need help. I just have no one around me that knows about this diet. Thank you

      Hello,
Sharing my opinion after 2 years on the Carnivora and ketogenic diet
(2 years between dietary transition (removing complex carbohydrates (Natural) as I removed the industrialized ones on the first day of the dietary change)
      1. Changing foods requires time for the body to begin adapting to new food consumption in this case (Protein and Fat) the body requires time to change its source of energy burning, because when we are eating carbohydrates our body is always in despair total. This can happen on a carnivorous or ketogenic diet, but in an intelligent way.
      2. Every Body has a health problem to correct
(No one is the same when it comes to health problems, even if they have the same disease)
      3. Gaining weight or losing weight can be an easier task for some people, this is due to their body, which may have a problem in a certain organ.
(Which was not diagnosed by laboratory tests) due to several factors
      4. The beginning of the diet is very delicate, as we want to heal quickly, at least overnight,
(We can start the improvement process when we change our diet on the first day, but we will not be cured overnight. It is not possible to cure years of a wrong diet in just a few days or even months or years, it depends on one body to another)
Total transition I believe in around 5 years,
For those who are only on the carnival diet along with the ketogenic diet, interspersing the two in the same period
      5. Observing your evolution is very important, be it in the physical or mental aspect (Mental Energy, Relaxation in your daily activities, patience, emotional control, concentration, among others.
Your physical energy, Desire to do some exercises, among others) even if it is moderate, the simple fact of walking, I don't do running exercise, I don't think it's healthy. due to several factors, one of which is that research has shown that most athletes who run and play football or do all the exercises that use the heart more have more heart attacks, perhaps because of the carbohydrates, etc...
      6. The most important of all
(Follow your Ancestral Food instinct, which was taken from humans)
      Which ?
(When you want to eat more protein, eat, when you want to eat more fat, eat. When you don't want to eat, don't eat) Do you want to gain weight?
      Exercise with moderate weight
I hope I contributed in some way

Thank you for this. I am 53 and have always had headaches (since I was 11) but about 10 years ago I started getting worse ones and I was gaining weight and then my blood pressure started getting higher. My doctor simply gave a prescription for pain relievers and blood pressure medications, and never once even considered that these could all be linked or that there was anything I could do to remedy them all. Probably best as he would have told me to cut out the meat and eat more fruit I’m sure. I just started carnivore 3 days ago, and am so hopeful for the first time in a while that there is something I can do about all of the issues as well as the achy joints and itchy skin.

Wonderful video. I figured my autoimmune issues were what was preventing me from losing belly fat. Carnivore has helped me almost totally eliminate my anaphylactic reactions to bees, yellow jackets, wasps, and hornets. Actually my bloodwork showed that I am no longer allergic to yellow hornets at all. ZC 17 months!

I was on TikTok and saw people saying stuff like "oh this is an eating disorder" and whatnot. As a therapist in clinicals, one thing you can say to anyone in the future if they ever try to say you have an eating disorder is that an eating disorder has to cause clinically significant impairment in order to be a disorder. You are THRIVING, Hun. This is not an eating disorder, this is a life worth living.

    • @lioncub8181
      @lioncub8181 Рік тому +4

@@margaretterrebonne9596 Yes! I know it sounds weird but it's actually awesome. It takes a few nights to get used to it but once you do it's great. Buy tape for skin. I have found the Nexcare blue tape is the best width and stickiness. It keeps your mouth closed all night which keeps the ph balance of your mouth right keeping it cleaner. You don't wake up choking from dry mouth, tongue and throat. It forces you to breathe through your nose therefor you get more oxygen making you sleep all night without waking up. And makes for less snoring. Just give it try!

      Hello,
Sharing my opinion after 2 years on the Carnivora and ketogenic diet

This is the best understanding of insulin I've ever heard. I'm a type 2 diabetic on insulin and between my primary doctor and diabetic management, I have been getting conflicting diet advice. Which means that my insulin has been mostly high and periodically dropping low quickly causing me to become very ill. Since starting the carnivore diet things have changed. After 15 days on the diet I have been taken off of insulin and my body is now stabilizing. IBS went from severe pain to minimum, headaches went from everyday to minor headaches a few times a week, and pain from inflammation is now also minimum and requires no medication. My doctor is shocked and now curious about the diet. Losing weight wasn't the reason for starting carnivore. I started it because I was tired of waking up everyday in pain, ill, and unable to function with the smallest tasks. So losing weight and thinking clear are just bonuses for me. Thank you for the video, it really helped me to understand what all of that bad advice and why my diet, no matter how healthy I thought it was, was really doing to me.

Thank you, Kelly! This video is so helpful! Glad to see you made another one. Your preparation, information, and presentation are spot on! 3 months in, as ~90+% carnivore (0 plants), and I'm healing fairly well. This reminds me that I still need to work on getting to bed earlier and reduce the blue light exposure. Thanks again, and there's no question that I will be sticking with the proper human diet. I don't need the reassurance, but for others that do, you do a great job at inspiring folks, and I want to do my part to support your efforts and encourage anyone having difficulties with sticking with carnivore. I currently hit a little bit of a weight loss plateau, but it doesn't faze me. Being a carnivore, I'm healing and more calm when presented with challenges, and know I'll get there. Anyone reading this, please stick with carnivore or begin trying it, if you haven't yet begun the journey. Use the ketogenic diet as a gateway to transition to carnivore, if you're a newbie. Keep on, keeping on. You will get there.👍
